Not surprisingly, Lisa is approaching the reality competition like she does everything else in her life…with hard work and her biting wit. Oh, and Giggy of course! She'll be dancing with new pro Gleb Savchenko, and from the looks of things, Lisa is fierce as ever!
Mr. Three Back-to-Back Reality Shows, aka Sean Lowe, is now crying about the fact that he can't go out with his buddies without being hounded by fans. Well, when you flaunt your rock-hard abs on TV every Monday night, these things are bound to happen.
"I've always said that I'm not looking for fame," Sean said. "In fact, I don't like the fame aspect of being the Bachelor or being on Dancing With the Stars. I wish I could – you know, I can't go out in Dallas with my buddies anymore because I'm left taking pictures the whole night because people – you know, they recognize me and they want to take pictures."
It's no secret to any of you that I adore Bachelor host Chris Harrison. He's equal parts diplomatic, fatherly, and humorous. He doesn't mince words. He wears ties that could not be pulled off by the average gentleman. In fact, the only complaint I've ever had about Mr. Harrison was his lapse in judgment when he went out with Justin Bieber's mom (more on her later!). Chris is now speaking outSean Lowe's engagement to Catherine Giudici and ABC's pick for Desiree Hartsock for the Bachelorette.
Chris even expresses his disdain for Sean choosing to doDancing with the Stars because he believes people will perceive him as being a "famewhore" who didn't do the Bachelor for the right reasons. Remember what I said about him not mincing words? Love it! Meanwhile, The Biebs' mom Patti Mallette was live-tweeting all over the place during Monday night's broadcast…perhaps trying to pique the interest of a certain debonair host?
Now that Lisa Vanderpump has popped the Real Housewives on Dancing With The Stars cherry, the flood gates have opened. You know all these grasping famewhores already have their publicists on the phone begging for a change at next year's cast!
Being the first Houswife to grace the show with her presence, Lisa confesses it was difficult for her decide to sign on for the very challenging show, but she's ready!
"I did it because it's an honor to be asked. I think it's one of the most glamorous shows on television," the Real Housewives of Beverly Hillsstar told E! "It's exciting and such a challenge, but I am nervous."
Lisa is the first 'Housewife' to ever make it onto the series which has been turning the first ladies of Bravo down for years! Well the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star will be shaking her British derriere with partner Gleb Savechenko.
For those worried that Giggy will not be making an appearance, Lisa confirmed: "Giggy is always with me. He's over there." And somewhere Kyle Richards cried big, fat wet tears of lost delusions of grandeur…
Ugh. Two of my favorite Dancing with the Stars pros have revealed that they will not be participating in the upcoming season. I mean, my interest level wasn't that great to begin with… but still… now it's nearly non-existent.
According to TMZ, Maksim Chmerkovskiydecided not to dance this season, to pursue other projects, and broke the news to producers a few days ago. I imagine they're still crying in their Cherrios. Oh wait… that's just me.
Then, when asked about the upcoming season, Chelsie Hightowerlet it slip that she, too, will not be dancing. These people clearly want to make Dancing with the Stars as uncomfortable as possible for me. Will Emily Maynard be the cherry on top of my misery sundae?
Meanwhile, dance troupe member Sharna Burgesstweeted that she has graduated to pro. Good for her, but she's no Chelsie.
