I could never imagine being a dancer or mother on Dance Moms. Aside from not being able to dance and not having a kid, it seems like dealing with Abby Lee Miller would be a lot for any human being to handle.
As a viewer, I live for it every time Abby has a meltdown on screen, but I can see why the actual cast members would be happier now that Cheryl Burke is taking over. It seems like a logical fit since Cheryl is a skilled dancer/dance teacher who has reality TV experience from Dancing With the Stars. I’m curious about how entertaining the show will be since it’s obviously going to be way easier to get along with Cheryl in comparison to Abby.
Never say never, right? You know how sometimes, late at night, celebrities like to get on social media and rant? Maybe they’ve had a few cocktails. Maybe it was just a long day. Usually these things get deleted before sunrise, but sometimes you wake up and realize you quit your job in an all caps Instagram post! Such is the case with Abby Lee Miller who bid an Internet farewell to the network who made her a star over seven seasons of its hit show Dance Moms.
Alleging manipulation and a lack of artistic integrity, Abby gave the boot to the production team who she claims reveled in her mistreatment. However, amid rumblings that the show will go on without her (with former Dancing with the Stars pro Cheryl Burke at the helm), Abby is back tracking…just a little.
Briana Rennee’s husband Matt Ericson might as well be a cast member on Little Women: LA. Almost every story line comes back to his shady behavior in one way or another. The entire cast has oscillated back and forth from pushing for a breakup to trying to support the relationship. At this point, Terra Jole is so over this situation and she is just pretty much done with Briana in general.
Unlike a lot of reality shows, most of the cast members on Little Women: LA have known each other for a long time. Not only that, but a lot of them have competed for jobs in the entertainment industry. With that said, there is a lot of tension among the cast and Terra has no issue sharing her side of the story – as per usual.
Even though Erika Girardiis getting a lot of flack for being “cold” and not opening up a lot during the last few Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, there is one topic that she has always expressed strong feelings about: advocating for the LGBTQ community.
Not only that, but her performance alter ego Erika Jayne has always emphasized how proud she is to have strong support from LGBTQ members of her fandom. She has performed at several Pride events before so it is only natural for Erika to put on another performance to support the fans that have been so supportive of her… no matter what she wears, or doesn’t wear.
I still don’t quite get why William Shatner has so much animosity toward Nick Viall, but apparently he is a very avid viewer of the Bachelorfranchise- which is something I understand. Still, I think he might have me beat when it comes to investing in a reality TV show. William was really going in with his Twitter campaign to get Nick booted from Dancing With the Stars.
He encouraged the fans to vote for “anybody but Nick” in a pretty excessive manner. And I’m pretty sure it was all based on what he watched from Nick’s appearances on reality TV- not anything that actually went down between the two of them. The whole thing just seemed very off-base and out of nowhere to me.
After returning from her time on Dancing With The Stars last year, Terra Jole faced surgery for three hernias sustained during the grueling workouts – which she engaged in mere weeks after giving birth to her second child. Now Terra is facing another potential health scare: breast cancer. She opened up about feeling vulnerable sharing the details with the world right now, but did say she’s received two doctor’s opinions thus far and is “still waiting on additional results” of recent testing.
I had no idea that William Shatner has such strong opinions about The Bachelor and Dancing With the Stars, but I cannot stop laughing. William has been adamantly campaigning to get Nick Viall booted from the ballroom in a series of impassioned tweets. I feel like I have finally identified the one person who takes reality TV more seriously than I do.
Sure, I feel bad for Nick, but Shatner’s devotion to both of these shows is just entertainment to me. He went on and on an on and on trying to rally support to vote for every contestant other than Nick.
Terra breaks down the episode, beginning with uncharacteristically kind words for cast mate (and sworn enemy!) Christy McGinity Gibel, who sadly suffered a mini-stroke during neck surgery that left her with multiple health hurdles to overcome. Terra offers, “When it comes to Christy, it is really crazy to see the chaos that she’s having to deal with and I honestly wish her good health.”
