Dancing With The Stars

tamar-630x268_2Was Tamar Braxton, mouth almighty and fifth wheel on the daytime chatfest, “The Real,” missed by her show’s producers when she fell ill last month?  Well according to Page Six, the dramatic diva was reportedly not missed and as a matter of fact, The Real’s producers, “seemed much happier without her.”

The R&B songstress and star of the “Braxton Family Values” reality show was a top competitor on the wildly popular ABC-TV show, “Dancing With the Stars” when she had to drop out due to blood clots in both her lungs.  Tamar was rushed to the hospital midway during dress rehearsals and was not present at the start of the live broadcast.  The then ailing award-winning recording artist’s reported initial diagnosis was pneumonia and even though her health was compromised, Tamar forged ahead, returning to the show, just in time to perform a team-up routine with fellow competitors.  Upon completing the segment, it was clear, Tamar was exhausted after the showing.

Dancing with the Stars finale

Weeping on social media, check. Talking to the press, check. Throwing yourself in front of the camera when the winner was announced, check. Actually winning Dancing with the Stars season 21, yeah, no. Obviously, Kim Zolciak was not eligible to win, as she was forced to withdraw from the competition in week 3, but that didn’t stop her from carrying on like it was national Kim Zolciak returns to Dancing with the Stars day.

In reality, Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough took home the mirror ball trophy last night, but Kim did finally get to perform the I Dream Of Jeannie inspired Samba she was schedule to do the week she withdrew. “It was very emotional,” shared Kim. “I had a stroke when I left. I had heart surgery three weeks ago. So, to be back here doing my dance, it goes way beyond the show and the experience. I am so thankful to be here.” See the weepy video Kim posted on Instagram after her 30 seconds of Samba below.

Tamar Braxton drops out of Dancing With The Stars

What a bummer! Dancing With The Stars has lost another one, not by elimination, but due to health issues, for the second time this season. Weeks ago, Kim Zolciak was forced to withdraw herself from the competition on Dancing With The Stars due to a mini-stroke that revealed a heart problem, and now it is Tamar Braxton’s turn to bow out. Earlier this week, Braxton was hospitalized for what she thought was pneumonia, but turned out to be something a lot more serious.

After she was taken to the hospital during rehearsals, then returned for her routine on Monday night, Tamar Braxton returned to the hospital after the show, only to be diagnosed with pulmonary embolism, or blood clots in her lungs. Kim Zolciak

From Instagram to Good Morning America to Entertainment Tonight, Don’t Be Tardy star Kim Zolciak is squeezing every ounce of attention she can out of her short stint on Dancing with the Stars. Her very short stint. Kim has been talking about her boot from the show longer than she was actually on the show.

In case you’ve been stuck under a rock for the past three weeks, Kim and her pro partner, Tony Dovolani, were forced to withdraw from Dancing with the Stars when Kim suffered a mini stroke and wasn’t medically cleared to fly from Atlanta to Los Angeles for the live show. Kim begged, pleaded, and organized an online petition to get back on the show to no avail. But, still squeezing, Kim shared video today from her last rehearsal with Tony, adding, “I miss dancing!!”

Kim Zolciak uses Waist Trainer after mini stroke

Kim Zolciak isn’t about to let a mini stroke and impending surgery stand in the way of beauty. The Don’t Be Tardy star just announced her ‘Ask, Believe, & Receive’ motivational speaking tour (motivating us to what – gold dig?), and plans to look her best for audiences everywhere with the help of her trusty plastic surgeon waist trainer.

This morning Kim posted a photo of herself in the accused waist trainer (which she claimed help her tone up post-twins), and shot down criticisms that the restrictive garment contributed to her Transient Ischemic Attack last month.

Maks Slams DWTS, Hope Solo, And Abby Lee Miller

Wait, what? Didn’t we just see Maksim Chmerkovskiy guest judging on Dancing With The Stars? Why, yes we did. But that certainly doesn’t mean that he’ll be returning to the show anytime soon. In fact, according to Chmerkovskiy himself, he was so censored during his recent gig there, that he has no plans to return…ever.

While that may not be surprising since Maks has made it clear in the past that there is no love lost between Dancing With The Stars and himself, what was surprising was what he had to say about some of his former partners, particularly Hope Solo. But Solo wasn’t the only one that Chmerkovskiy bashed, as he also went on to slam Dance Moms star, Abby Lee Miller. Trust us, folks – you don’t want to miss this!
