A press release posted by VH-1 has more details on the new show with a working title of Rehab With Dr. Drew.

VH1 is once again partnering with Dr. Drew Pinsky to lead a group of addicts through the difficult process of getting clean and sober. The new season of “Rehab with Dr. Drew” (Tentative title) will not feature celebrities with substance abuse issues, but instead follow the real-life experiences of young adults who are struggling with addiction as they undergo the same detoxification and treatment plan at The Pasadena Recovery Center as utilized in “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.” “Rehab with Dr. Drew” is set to premiere in the summer of 2012 on VH1 with eight one-hour episodes.

Has it finally happened? Has Dr. Drew simply run out of D-listers willing to put their lives on screen for a minuscule shot at a comeback by attempting the extremely difficult and private matter that is attending substance abuse rehab on a reality show? Well, that is up for debate.

Surely, regular folks will demand much less money than a known celebrity and will probably be far more willing to discuss their lives. While Celebrity Rehab did “go there” on many occasions due to the nature of the show, actors are still actors and I’d bet money that there were many things that were kept from the public.

The network claims the show’s format is changing due to “many people” who have decided to seek help due to the show. Dr. Drew hopes that this show will inspire others to take the same step, saying “”It is my sincere hope that this show will encourage people who are struggling to seek the help. Treatment works and there is hope and recovery is possible.”

Following five years of Celebrity Rehab the show is returning with a twist! This time, in an all new premise, the legendary Dr. Drew will check in with past patients in Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew Revisited.

In a series of four, “where are they now” specials Dr. Drew and his head counselor Bob Forrest will follow up with celebrity rehab graduates from the first four seasons. The show will feature new interviews and home visits with such patients as Andy Dick, Heidi Fleiss, Rachel Uchitel, Nikki Mckibbin and Janice Dickinson as well as several other famous “celebrity rehabbers.”

Dr. Drew will also address life in the months and years following addiction recovery and discussing the struggles of sobriety, and in some cases the updates won’t feature happy endings. “While many patients on the series have been successful with recovery, viewers will see that in some instances, not even Dr Drew’s patients are immune to the perils of relapse.” No word on who is doing well and who unfortunately may have re-succumbed to addiction.

THOUGHTS ON DR. DREW’S NEW SERIES? ARE YOU INTERESTED IN CATCHING UP WITH PAST CELEBRITY REHABBERS?

The finale resumes with a saddened Amber rejoining her mother on Dr. Drew’s sofa after the doctor goes to speak with her. At the end of the first half of the reunion Amber had stormed off stage because she was so upset discussing her younger sister’s death from SIDS when Amber was four years old. Dr. Drew assures Amber that SIDS is sadly a common killer of infants and no one is to blame.

Amber’s mother remembers that the mother-daughter relationship was very stressful before Amber got pregnant. Dr. Drew uses Amber and her mother as a tutorial for parents who are concerned about their child’s sex lives, discussing how to overcome the awkwardness of broaching the subject of sex with one another.

Catelynn and Tyler are next in the hot seat. Dr. Drew asks if anything would have been different had the couple not chosen adoption for their daughter Carly. It’s hard for the pair to speculate naturally. Romantically, the couple is doing well. Dr. Drew presses into the fact that Tyler hasn’t experienced a lot in the dating world. Tyler says he was trying to be honest, and he wanted to make sure he was always upfront with Catelynn. Catelynn admits that she trusts Tyler and never worries about him cheating. However, she often feels threatened by younger, cuter girls whose bodies have never carried a child. Her body issues are still playing a big role in her insecurities. The couple’s main lesson to young teens is to not be selfish. Using protection is easy.

Catelynn’s mom/Tyler’s step-mom April joins the couple on the couch. While Catelynn and April both claim that their relationship is much better, it’s almost hard to watch. April admits that much of her animosity regarding Carly’s adoption was a result of following Tyler’s dad/Catelynn’s step-dad Butch’s feelings. Catelynn and April seem to have come full circle, and Tyler considers her to be a great step-mother. Tyler admits that his actual mom played a big part in making sure that Butch didn’t totally devastate Tyler with his actions. We also learn that Butch went back to prison because he and April violated their no-contact order. As it’s the last portion of the finale, I won’t be able to say again how much I adore and respect this couple (until next season, of course!). So, one more time…I adore and respect this couple.

Dr. Drew gives us yet another alarming statistic…less than two percent of teen moms will graduate from college by the age of thirty. Wow. I do have to give Maci some credit for attempting to take classes. She is next to be interviewed and reveals that she doesn’t have too much time before she’s a college graduate. Maci tells Dr. Drew that she wants to co-parent with Ryan, but she doesn’t want to things to be complicated between them. Dr. Drew calls her out for wanting a second baby with Kyle so quickly, but she defends herself, saying that she doesn’t feel nineteen after all her life lessons. Yeah, there’s that.

Maci admits that while she’d love to have a baby with Kyle, she has no plan to do so. She will not have another baby until she’s married, and she and Kyle aren’t in a place where they are ready for that. Kyle joins Maci and reveals that it is difficult to date a teen mom due to the drama. Kyle believes that his strong bond with Bentley is a big factor in the pair’s relationship. Dr. Drew asks if Kyle would want a relationship with Bentley if he and Maci broke up. Kyle responds that he definitely would, but Maci says she wouldn’t want Kyle to be a part of her son’s life post break-up for her own reasons.

Maci feels like she’s sacrificed a lot as a teen mom, but what she reveals hurts her the most is that she moved out of her parents’ house as seventeen, depriving them of their own daughter. Dr. Drew is as shocked as I am to learn that Maci’s parents married at seventeen in anticipation of her older brother’s birth. Maci further admits that she feels guilt over Ryan’s future happiness. She is worried about him trying to make it on his own, and she feels that knows he prospers the most when he’s in a good place. Who doesn’t? Kyle exits stage left, and Ryan takes his place. The two feel like they are much better at communicating and co-parenting than what is shown on this season. Ryan is actually very humorous and mature when discussing Maci’s desire for a sibling for Bentley. “More power to her,” he says, although he hopes Maci will finish school and enjoy a bit of married life before that happens. Both Maci and Ryan agree that they have a lot to work on, but they are definitely on the right track.

The question that has been lingering all season is asked, “Ryan, are you still in love with Maci?” Ryan is all, I love her as she’s the mother of my son, but I’m not in love with her…she’ll be in my life forever as we share a child. Dr. Drew says that he’d hoped the crazy couple would have been able to work it out, but Ryan explains that together, he and Maci are not a good idea. Ryan applauds the role Kyle has played in Bentley’s life, and Kyle joins the pair on the sofa.

Both guys admit that their initial meeting was awkward, but they both felt a feeling of relief once they finally got to know one another. Kyle explains that all three of them just had to learn how to work together in this crazy situation, and amen to that Kyle. Maci feels like she needs to elaborate on that note, telling Ryan that he is easily set off when she approaches him about things regarding Bentley. Ryan kind of agrees, but I also believe that is Maci being a touch manipulative. Dr. Drew gives his two cents, and Ryan champions the role of the teen father.

It’s the final scene and all of the adorable children are on stage. The teen moms are in agreement that their lives are now better off than when their stories first debuted on 16 and Pregnant. Catelynn and Tyler say that letting go of the Carly (or I’m assuming the idea of Carly) is especially difficult. It’s time for the canned questions, so Amber inquires as to when Tyler and Catelynn will tie the knot. The couple knows they are supposed to be together and are in no hurry to walk down the aisle. They at least want to see what college life brings. Gary, always a curious guy, wants to know how Ryan feels about his entire dynamic. Perhaps he wants to be prepared for when Amber goes running back into the arms of the Pee-Wee Herman lookalike.

These babies are no longer young enough to be considered anything less than actual “kids.” They are so precious running around the stage as Dr. Drew reminds anyone who is listening that pregnancy is one hundred percent preventable.

Kyle and Taylor are headed to Dana’s house for lunch. Dana and Taylor met while a nine-months pregnant Dana was driving a Lamborghini. Dana answers the door wearing a tiara. And a hooker pagent dress. Seriously, she looked like a busted up Miss America, with fake boobs up to her eyebrows. As Dolly Parton said: “It takes a lot of money to look this cheap!” Taylor describes Dana as liking things over the top. She seems nice, but desperate. And she gives me a grifter vibe. Maybe it’s her friendship with Taylorexic?

Dana is planning her wedding, which involves 40K earrings and a French castle. It’s like the wealthy version of My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding! She is in the middle of choosing jewelry for the affair and I swear Scarlett O’Hara’s curtain dress was on a mannequin in the background. While they wait Kyle peruses Dana’s son’s headshots that are prominently piled on the entry table. And speaking of Dana’s son, at 18 months he reads, and speaks Thai, and does Pilates, and solves Rubiks Cubes blindfolded, and swims with sharks, and does Trigonometry! Oh, yeah, Kyle challenges, Portia walked out of the delivery room! I loved that Kyle BS-ed the BS-er!

When Dana comes to the table for lunch she has changed from “here comes the boobs” (as Kyle put it) to mom clothes. Dana admits she needs some help in the fashion department.

At Villa Blanca, Lisa meets with Bette, Kim and Kyle’s manager. CNN wants Lisa to provide coverage of The Royal Wedding. Since Lisa has just eaten dinner with the ever-so-classy, Duchess of York, she’s puuurfeckt, dahling! Oh Lisa, don’t go all Sonja Morgan name dropey on me!

Paul arrives home from work to discover two things 1) Jackpot pooped in his closet again (hehe) and 2) Adrienne is throwing a lavish Bar-B-Que. You know, I really do think they enjoy each other and have fun bickering. Lisa reveals she will be unable to attend due to her commitment to CNN. Adrienne finds it puzzling that Lisa was chosen as the arbiter of class by CNN. Don’t they know she allowed her dog to drink from Adrienne’s good crystal during a formal dinner party? While I do think that is déclassé, it is no more so than having a full-on argument with your husband at the dinner table – particularly when you are the hosts of said party!

Taylor and Brandi meet for a drink to discuss their marital and divorce woes. Taylor and Brandi have lots in common, like: children, marital issues, and bad plastic surgery. Oh, and they are both extremely thin because they are on the “divorce diet”.

Brandi reveals that Eddie Cibrian cheated on her throughout her entire marriage until he ultimately left her for LeAnn Rimes,who he is actually marrying on this very day! Ouch! Taylor confesses that she is in marriage counseling and not handling it well. The ladies talk divorce proceedings and Taylor, that crafty little fibber that she is, insists with a wide-eyed, I’m so innocent, poor, widdle me stare, that she could never, ever fight Russell for everything he has ‘cause she’s just not that type of girl. O, rly?

At Kim’s, she is cleaning house while her housekeeper watches. As she dusts the many photos of her children, she tells stories to her cleaning lady about her kids. The housekeeper keeps repeating “that’s cute” unenthusiastically. Kim is lonely in her big house with her kids grown-up and gone. She admits to having a very tough time after last season, but took some time to focus on herself and is in a much better place now. Is that code for “went to rehab”?

Kyle and Mauricio are joining Lisa and Ken for dinner at Villa Blanca. Kyle admits there has been tension between her and Lisa since Adrienne’s dinner party where she exchanged words with Ken in Taylor’s defense. Kyle let’s everyone know lunch at Dana’s was mega-awkward and Dana, who Ken described as “the chubby one,” might be more than a few fries short of a Happy Meal! Mauricio wonders if Dana is confusing babbling with Thai and I wonder if Dana is confusing reality with an acid trip.

I think Dana decided to tell people her son speaks Thai because so few people speak the language and wouldn’t know if he was speaking it or not! Crafty, that one.

Kyle gives Lisa a little lecture on how to be a better fake friend to Taylor, but Lisa is not having it. Why should she be attacked for having suspicions about Taylor? Lisa is also confused why none of Taylor’s so-called “real” friends are addressing her obvious eating issues, to which Kyle responds they can’t force her to eat anymore than they can force an addict to stop abusing.

On the day of Adrienne’s Bar-B-Que, she is wearing a very scary jumpsuit, while ordering the chef to prepare tons of food for a yard full of women on perma-diets and a bunch of little kids. She also does not want the gold tipped champagne flutes used – obviously! Um… plastic cups, anyone? After noticing there are only two bottles of wine, she is shocked her sommelier would presume that is enough to satisfy a party of lushes and reminds him they have a wine cellar. Duh!

Camille and Brandi bond over the whole being married to a celebrity, who publicly cheated on you and married someone else immediately after leaving you, thing. As Brandi put it, Camille went through the A-list version of her divorce. Camille is still feeling shy about dating, but Brandi warns there is only a short window of hotness left!

Dana arrives wearing some lovely yellow Umbros-looking shorts and 25K sunglasses. I don’t even think Elton John would spend that much on sunglasses! Talk of the sunglasses takes over the party – I can’t believe she is letting people try them on! I’d have them chained to my face! Every time Dana receives a compliment on her glasses she informs the person of the price. Dana admits she has some insecurity issues – is it insecure or insignificant, Dana?

According to Camille, people with real money don’t brag about it. They don’t miss 9 houses or whatever who was the snobbiest of the snobby last season? A very un-snobby Camille and Taylor hop on the trampoline and Taylor shows off her Shanna Hughes cheerleading skills. I am loving this new laid-back, fun Camille. She seems to appreciate life so much more!

Brandi observes her son taking off his clothes, as he gets out of the pool, and then peeing on the grass. Kyle is shocked, but Brandi is relieved he didn’t pee in the pool! So she just turns back to her glass of wine! Kyle wonders why Brandi wouldn’t inform her son that whipping out the peen at a party is a no-no? Parenting 101, anyone?

Don’t worry Kyle, Brandi’s not afraid to talk penis, she’s just not that interested in parenting! She has other stuff to do, like ummm… guzzle wine in the middle of the afternoon and talk to the press! They hound her.

Adrienne is about to serve lunch, but Kim hasn’t arrived even though she said she was coming. She is also not answering her phone. Do you think she had another black out (double-entendre intended)? Kyle calls her and Kim explains since she couldn’t bring any of her kids she felt awkward coming. Kyle, Adrienne, and Farrah all think something else is going on and Kyle is concerned, but she is trying to take a step back from Kim’s life.

Kyle tells Kim to call Adrienne and explain why she bailed on the party after promising to attend. While Kyle is handling the Kim drama, Dana is experiencing some drama of her own! Super baby is spilling water from the wading pool onto Adrienne’s grass and she is really worried the water will ruin the grass… Yes, Dana was worried about water getting on the lawn. Why wasn’t she telling him to stop in Thai? Then maybe he’d respond.

Lisa is preparing for CNN and experiencing difficulty attaching her weave. Luckily son, Max is on hair to install the tracks – except he doesn’t now what he is doing either. Arriving at the studio, Lisa is still dissatisfied with her hair and she insists on messing with it herself while Ken styles Giggy. Lisa commandeers Dr. Drew and inquires if she can borrow some of his many Twitter followers. She’s never seen his Twitter, but she’s heard it’s rather large, if you know what I mean.

Although Lisa was worried about appearing live, things went swimmingly. I hope she doesn’t ask Ken what he thought of he performance, because he fell asleep! Hehe

At Adrienne’s everyone is worried that Taylor has not eaten lunch. Brandi drops the little bomb that Taylor is on the “divorce diet.” Prompting a collective: “What divorce?” from the ladies. They thought she was on the ‘Let’s Fix This Marriage, I Need The Money’ Diet! Dana decides to solve the problem the old fashioned way and ask Taylor if she ate lunch? And yep, she did. Well, she says she did, but she says a lot of things!

Dana insists Taylor eats all the time in front of her, but she gets fat and Taylor doesn’t. Maybe Taylor looks at the food and you eat both portions, Dana? Ok, is anyone else kind of liking Dana – she’s a wild one, but sort of fun! Bitter Barbie Kyle, snips that since she’s happily married no one cares what she’s eating. I care Kyle, please put your food journal on your Bravo Blog so we can all comment on your dieting successes.

Kyle asks about Dana’s wedding, specifically why Dana is waiting so long to have it? Dana wants to have the biggest wedding in the world. And she will not be outdone by some stupid old British Royals and their fancy Buckingham Palace, so she is renting out her own castle. Oh, boy… Camille is a little perturbed – does Dana really think she is a princess?

Talk turns to husbands and Camille reveals a little something her mama taught her: “Big hands, big feet, big disappointment.” And sadly she personally experienced it. The happily married Kyle doesn’t get it – what’s the big disappointment? Brandi succinctly and bawdily informs her it’s a “cock.” You would have thought Brandi confessed to murdering someone, the way these ladies were reacting to the little ol’ c_ck word!

Kyle thinks Brandi is tacky. Obviously sensing that the women are a little uncomfortable with her, Brandi points out that she isn’t a “super slut”. Maybe just a regular slut? Kidding! Kyle suggests that Brandi may be “projecting, much” and that no one thought she was slutty until she herself put the ideas in their heads! Are we sure these people are adults?

Brandi comments that none of the women seem to like her since she is noticing a lot of eye rolls. According to Kyle, her language is the problem and she is saying eye roll worthy things. Taylor, I noticed, didn’t bother to defend her new buddy at all and instead parroted everything HBIC Kyle said.

And speaking of eye rolls, Brandi gets a big one when she suggests Dana’s finance, who travels often for work, may have some women on the side! Dana, who was minutes earlier sticking up for Brandi, instantly jumps into defense mode, perhaps over-defense mode. I’m thinking Brandi had a little too much pinot or something. After Brandi pretty much ruined Adrienne’s party with her uncouth behavior, Adrienne acknowledges we all say things we regret sometimes. I bet she’s thinking Giggy drinking from a crystal goblet isn’t nearly as bad as cock-talk and assignations about cheating fiancés!

Next week: Kyle and Adrienne discuss Kim’s odd behavior. Dana hosts a game night, which apparently turns into a Kim-bashing night as she spends the majority of it in the ladies’ room.

WWHL: On Watch What Happens Live, Wendy McLendon-Covey and Kyle are the guests. Wendy is also auditioning for Real Housewives: “I made my own jewelry and I wrote a single about it. I play by my own rules!” haha!!! The drinking game word is “Ladysitter” and Wendy is TOO funny! Especially when she says Dana was wearing her butt on her chest in that wedding dress!

Wendy imagines Lisa’s house smells like fresh kibble, powder, musty garden shoes, and roses. She also does an amazing impression of her favorite housewife, Vicki “empty lovetank” Gunvalson! Wendy reveals she based her Bridesmaid character from Real Housewives of OC because she lives nearby, oh and she and Tamra Barney share a tramp stamp! The Game is Hot or Hot Mess? Andy shows stills from RHOBH and the ladies have to declare it hot or a hot mess! Super funny! Wendy was a great guest!

The all new 4th season of Celebrity Rehab only started filming a little over a week ago and there is already drama on the set.

RadarOnline is reporting that professional mistress Rachel Uchitel walked out on the show while filming this week.  Rachel told producers “I quit” and ran away from the set, getting away to a swanky Beverly Hills hotel after an intense day of filming drove her over the edge.

So what drove Rachel over the edge?  According to TMZ, it was an intense talk about her father’s death. Sources tell TMZ that Rachel’s breaking point came during a recent one-on-one therapy session where the main topic was her dad.

Rachel’s father died of a cocaine overdose in his 40s, and Rachel was 15 at the time.  Rachel’s exit was however short lived as she returned the next day because her ‘Rehab’ castmates called and urged her to rejoin them.

In other Rachel news, TMZ also reported a while back that Rachel has a major crush on Dr. Drew Pinsky, and her infatuation with him is what led her to sign on for the show.  Something tells us Dr. Drew’s wife will be making more frequent visits to the set.

It was also revealed last week that actor Eric Roberts had joined the cast, much to the surprise of many.  While Eric remains in Rehab, his wife is now speaking out on his behalf, and revealing his addiction.

“Eric quit drugs and alcohol in 1995,” his wife, Eliza Roberts (an actress and casting director), tells E! News. “He has no interest in anything, other than marijuana.”

As for how his addiction to marijuana came about, his wife adds, “He uses marijuana as a medication. He has a prescription.  However, a dependency is a dependency and he doesn’t want to be dependent on it anymore.”

So how is Eric’s famous daughter, Emma Roberts, and sister, Julia Roberts, reacting to the news? “Everyone in the family is very supportive of each other and of each other being their best self and being healthy.”

Money is likely the motivating factor for Eric’s appearance on the show, as the “celebrities” do get paid.  According to TMZ,  Rachel Uchitel is receiving $500, 000 while Jeremy London is only getting $40,000.  No word yet on how much Eric will be receiving, but one has to assume it will be more than what Rachel is getting.

Sober House with Dr. Drew is set to premiere Thursday, March 11 at 10/9c on VH1.

VH1 has now announced the all new cast of their second season of Sober House, set to premiere Thursday, March 11 at 10PM ET/PT.

The cast this season will combine patients from both “Celebrity Rehab 3″ as well as “Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew Pinsky.” They include Tom Sizemore, Heidi Fleiss, Dennis Rodman, Jennifer Ketcham, Seth “Shifty” Binzer, Kendra Jade Rossi, Mike Starr and Kari Ann Peniche.

Celebrity Rehab Presents Sober House will follow the above celebrities as they attempt to maintain sobriety and transition back into society free from addiction. Returning as the Sober House manager is Jennifer Gimenez from season 1.

Addicts enter rehab as an emergency measure geared at saving their lives. But what happens after the twenty-one days of intensive, in-patient treatment are complete? “Sober House with Dr. Drew” chronicles the all-important transitional period beyond the safety of rehab when the real work begins and patients initiate their move back into society. World-renowned addiction specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky facilitates the continued path to healing for several of his most challenging patients in eight new episodes of “Sober House with Dr. Drew.” The new season is set to premiere on Thursday, March 11 at 10pm*.

Dr. Drew and his staff will keep a watchful eye over all that goes on at the Sober House. Throughout the course of the experience, patients will have the opportunity to meet with Dr. Drew in both one-on-one and group counseling sessions in an effort to understand and solidify their sobriety.

Kari Ann Peniche (Sex Rehab, Celebrity Rehab 3) Kari Ann held the Miss Oregon Teen USA and the Miss United States Teen USA titles. When nude photos of her appeared in Playboy, she was stripped of her United States title. Kari Ann became a patient on VH1’s Sex Rehab, but was removed from the show early because of her erratic behavior. After successfully completing Celebrity Rehab, Kari Ann now continues her journey at the Sober House.

Heidi Fleiss (Celebrity Rehab 3) - Former “Hollywood Madam,” in 1997, Heidi was convicted in connection with her prostitution ring with charges including procuring and tax evasion. Since getting out of prison Heidi has moved to Nevada where she lives in the desert with dozens of exotic birds. Dr. Drew treated Heidi for a severe addiction to methamphetamines in Celebrity Rehab 3, and now Heidi continues her journey toward sobriety in Sober House.

Dennis Rodman (Celebrity Rehab 3) Dennis Rodman is retired from the NBA where he won five championships, led the league in rebounds for a record 7 consecutive years, and was twice voted NBA Defensive Player of the Year. In 2008, he was arrested for a domestic violence charge. He is a binge drinker who feels he has his alcohol abuse “under control”. Dennis was court ordered to go to rehab, and after completing treatment in the third season of Celebrity Rehab, Dennis continues his recovery in Sober House.

Kendra Jade Rossi (Sex Rehab) Former Pornstar Kendra left porn altogether eight years ago and married musician Lukas Rossi. She now manages his career and runs an animal rescue. After being treated by Dr. Drew for sex addiction in Sex Rehab, where it was discovered she also had an alcohol abuse problem, Kendra is now continuing her quest for sobriety in Sober House.

Tom Sizemore (Celebrity Rehab 3) Tom is an American film and television actor known for his roles in war films such as Saving Private Ryan and Black Hawk Down. He has long battled drug addiction and was convicted in 2003 of assault and battery against his girlfriend, Heidi Fleiss. Tom has been in and out of jail and drug treatment centers repeatedly. Dr. Drew treated Tom for his drug addiction in Celebrity Rehab 3, and now Tom continues his fight for sobriety in Sober House.

Jennie Ketcham (Sex Rehab) - Pornstar Jennifer grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. In her late teens, she adopted the identity of Penny Flame and became one of the most financially successful porn and web-cam actors in the world. Jenny renounced pornography while in treatment with Dr. Drew on Sex Rehab, and now will now continue her struggle for sexual sobriety in Sober House.

Mike Starr (Celebrity Rehab 3) – The original bassist for the popular 90’s rock band Alice in Chains from 1987 to 1993, before being asked to leave the band by the other members. Mike’s problems with drug abuse took a dark turn and from that year on he has faced a mounting variety of drug possession, DUI and property-destruction charges. Mike’s drugs of choice include heroin, methadone, crystal meth, cocaine and pot. He was treated by Dr. Drew on Celebrity Rehab 3 and continues is journey on Sober House.

Seth Binzer (Celebrity Rehab, Celebrity Rehab 2, Sober House) – Seth Binzer, better known as “Shifty,” is a recording artist who co-founded the musical group Crazy Town in 1995. The group’s single “Butterfly” reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2001. Seth was treated by Dr. Drew on the first season of Celebrity Rehab, then again in the second season, and he continued on in the first season of Sober House. Each time Dr. Drew has treated Seth he has relapsed, and once again he’s reached out to Dr. Drew for help.

Jennifer Gimenez (Sober House) – Returning as the House Manager is model/actress Jennifer. She has appeared in music videos for Tupac Shakur, Babyface and Mick Jagger as well on the big-screen in films such as Blow, Vanilla Sky, and Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle. She has made television appearances on The Bold and The Beautiful and Karen Sisco.

The third season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew is set to premiere on VH1 on Thursday, Jan. 7 at 10/9c. Above is a video preview which shows it’s bound to be a rocky and emotional ride.

The cast includes Mackenzie Philips of “One Day At A Time Show”, Heidi Fleiss, basketball star Dennis Rodman, country music singer Mindy McCready, America’s Next Top Model Lisa D’Amato, Mike Starr of Alice in Chains fame, Ex-Miss USA Teen Kari Ann Peniche and Real World Hollywood star Joey Kovar, and actor Tom Sizemore.

This should make for an interesting season as Tom Sizemore and Heidi Fleiss used to date, and both had a very rocky relationship. In fact, Tom was sent to jail for physically assaulting Heidi.  Another familiar face is that of Kari Ann Peniche, who also appeared on Sex Rehab.  Mackenzie Phillips also recently made headlines when she admitted having an incestuous relationship with her father, Rock & Roll legend, John Phillips.

VH1 has announced their latest Celebrity Rehab spin-off, Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew. It promises to tackle the mostly ignored world of sex addiction.

It debuts Sunday, Nov. 1 at 10/9c. You can read more about the show in the press release below. The casts includes Amber Smith ( a Celebrity Rehab alum), Nicole Norain (Playboy playmate and Collin Farrel sex tape co-star), Kari Ann Peniche (made recent headlines for starring in a ‘sex tape’ with Erica Dane and Rebecca Gayheart), and some other stars.

VH1, Dr. Drew and Irwin Entertainment have expanded their documentary series on addiction to examine one of society’s most taboo topics, sex addiction, in the upcoming series Sex Rehab With Dr. Drew. The series is set to premiere on VH1 on Sunday, November 1 at 10pm.

Addictions are nothing new, and most people are aware of those involving alcohol, drugs, and eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia, but few know about and understand sex addiction. It afflicts roughly 3%-6% of the American population, and just like other addictions, its impact on personal lives can be devastating. The affliction can wreak havoc on the mental and physical health of those afflicted as well as destroy marriages, families, careers and even finances.

Nicole Narain – Model / Playboy Playmate

Soon after becoming Playboy’s Miss January 2002, she appeared in music videos from the likes of Diddy, Mario Wayans and Jermaine Dupri. She’s also appeared on Entourage, Mad TV and American Heiress. She reached a new level of exposure when a sex tape featuring her with Colin Farrel leaked. “That pretty much ruined my life,” she says.

Amber Smith – Supermodel/Actress

An internationally recognized supermodel and actress for 20 years, Amber Smith, also acted in films such as L.A. Confidential, American Beauty and The Mirror Has Two Faces. She appeared on Sober House and the second season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, where she went public with her 16-year addiction to opiate painkillers.

Kendra Jade Rossi – Ex-porn star/ Manager

During her years in the porn industry, Kendra became a well known adult film star. However, she also became tabloid fodder. (Star magazine and Us Weekly accused her of breaking up Kevin Federline and Britney Spears marriage after a trip to Vegas.) She left the adult film industry in 2001 on the verge of a complete breakdown. She fell headlong into alcoholism and was also diagnosed as an agoraphobic with severe anxiety and panic disorders, which introduced the world of prescription drug abuse.

Phil Varone – Musician

Phil Varone is an accomplished drummer, music producer and songwriter best known for his work with the bands Saigon Kick and Skid Row. In 2004, Phil left Skid Row and the music business to pursue acting and stand up comedy.

Kari Ann Peniche – Beauty queen / Model / Playboy Playmate

Kari Ann was Miss Oregon Teen USA 2002, competed at Miss Teen USA 2002, won Miss Oregon United States 2003 then went on to win Miss United States Teen 2003. In Nov 2004 she appeared in Playboy. Kari was briefly engaged to Aaron Carter. She recently made headlines for appearing in a ‘sex tape’ with A listers – Eric Dane and his wife, Rebecca Gayheart.

Jennifer Ketchum (aka Penny Flame) – Porn actress / Director

Jennifer Ketcham, 26 years old (former adult star known as Penny Flame) is now pursuing a writing career and life in production behind the lens. As an adult performer Jennifer climbed to the top winning over 5 awards and directing educational guides for Vivid.

Duncan Roy – Producer / Writer / Director

Duncan directed the acclaimed 2002 film AKA. He has worked as a journalist, and teaches low-budget filmmaking at UCLA.

James “Jamie” Lovett – Surfer / Wakeboarder

James Lovett is described as one of the world’s top rated surfers and wakeboarders. At 14 years old Lovett turned professional and has since dominated the sport winning countless competitions and medals. In 2004, at the age of 17 years old, he climbed his way to the top of the wake surfing when he won the Centurion World Wake Surfing Championships.

Dr Drew has collaborated again with VH1 to produce a new season of Celebrity Rehab 3. Even though the show will not hit the screen anytime soon, the cast of this series has been revealed. The show will feature the real life experiences of celebrity patients who are presently undergoing detoxification and treatment at the Pasadena recovery center.

The series will air sometime early next year. The celebrities featured in the series are Mackenzie Philips of “One Day At A Time Show”, Heidi Fleiss, basketball star Dennis Rodman, country music singer Mindy McCready, America’s Next Top Model Lisa D’Amato, Mike Starr of Alice in Chains fame, Ex-Miss USA Teen Kari Ann Peniche and Real World Hollywood star Joey Kovar.

The series will feature the treatment process which includes a 21-day program of both group and 1-on-1 therapies. This also includes other non-traditional treatments like art and music.

Along with Dr Drew, the series will also feature familiar faces like counselor Bob Forrest and resident technician Shelly Sprague. This season, Dr. Drew will be adding some other prominent physicians to assist patients on one on one care. We will continue to keep you posted.
