I don’t know what’s up with this new Renee Graziano, but I like her! First she impressed me to no end with her humor and cooking skills on chopped. Now, her Instagram is like a love fest! I guess if I just ignore her behavior on Mob Wives, she’s a really sweet lady!
Of course, Renee has had beef with almost everyone ever cast on Mob Wives. She is still reeling from Natalie Guercio’s delicious betrayal last season, and she was once mortal enemies with Carla Facciolo. My how times have changed! Renee and Carla are now mending fences…so much so that Carla has appeared on two episodes of the show this season…with more to come, I’m sure! We have to get to the bottom of Drita D’avanzo’s sudden aversion to her former bestie!
So let’s raise a blood-filled glass to last night’s Mob Wives, shall we? Drita D’avazo and family are back from Disney World now that Lee is done with parole and was able to cross state lines. She reminisces with her daughters about their favorite memories from the Magic Kingdom. She encourages her girls to make a scrapbook for Lee so he knows how much he is loved and has a memory book of the times he missed while he was in jail. Drita coaches her girls on what to write and post, and she’s excited to surprise him with the pictures that will make him feel somewhat a part of their childhood.
After making up with her seahag friends, Natalie Guercio has planned a girls night with Drita and Big Ang to celebrate the fact that all is well in their friendship. Both Ang and Drita feel badly for ever doubting their friend. Natalie’s twins are on display, but Drita and Ang’s chest s are competing for the top spot. Natalie is glad that Fraudalie wasn’t able to negatively influence her friends. I am thrilled that now I have the nicknames “Ratalie” and “Fraudalie” to distinguish the Natalies. Natalie and Natalie 2.0 were getting too confusing!
Clearly, VH1 is trying to prove to us that the Mob Wives are just fun people who hate brawling and enjoy each other’s company. Sure, we’ll go with that. I don’t know how to explain last night’s episode where Renee Graziano acted (dare I say) normal, Drita D’Avanzo’s focus was on a family trip, Karen Gravano was trying to bring her immediate family together in Arizona, and Big Ang, well, Ang is always the voice of reason regardless of circumstance. Natalie Guercio is going to need to learn when to push and when to put on the brakes. At least some things never change…
We begin with Renee channeling her inner goddess with a photo shoot for her Mob Candy brand. I must say she looks fabulous. A bob is a good look for her, and she’s happy with where her friendships are at this point in her life. From Mob Candy to Lady Boss, Drita is having her weekly conversation with Lee since he refuses to be on camera. She’s thrilled her daughter is excelling at soccer given that she was a soccer star back in the day. The couple decides that a Disney trip needs to be in the works for their family…now that Lee is allowed to cross state lines. Win!
Hey, remember that time Natalie Guercio and Karen Gravano got into a knock-down-drag-out fight where both ladies ended up with scratched faces and handfuls of hair? Yeah, me too. Do you also remember that time that the always breezy and light-hearted Big Ang became a force to reckoned with among the Mob Wives? No? You must have missed last night’s episode then!
As Natalie and Karen are separated, Drita D’avanzo and Ang wonder why their friends are so insane. Renee Graziano is proud of Karen’s showing. Karen attempts to approach Natalie again, but she’s deterred. Natalie casually puffs on her cigarette before being escorted away. Drita is livid. If there is another altercation, she plans on being in the thick of it. Ang knows that once you talk about family–and draw blood–there is no return. At their New York apartment, London comes home from the gym and questions what happened to Natalie’s face. She rehashes the argument, promising she tried to watch her mouth. However, when Karen lashed out at her, Natalie won. London is fine with his girlfriend fighting as long as she’s defending herself. Natalie believes that she may still have a bond with her once biffle Renee who didn’t assist Karen in the beat down. Natalie, like Karen, can’t wait for round two. There are some things worth going to jail for, as Karen so eloquently puts it.
Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to social media to share even more of their daily lives with us. And we love them for it! Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite family photos from the past few weeks.
So last week’s boat ride on Mob Wives was a success, wasn’t it? Last night’s episode began right where the last one ended…with Karen Gravano wanting Natalie Guercio served up on a platter for her to demolish. With friends like these, who needs enemies? Regardless, Big Ang keeps smoking her (is that a clove?) cigarette while trying to figure out where her loyalties should lie. It’s got to be exhausting!
At Drita D’vanzo’s Lady Boss store, she is working on promoting her store with a calendar that she hopes can showcase her make-up, skincare, and jewelry. Karen arrives to help Drita put together her “old Hollywoody meets mobster” vibe. Drita plans to put the proceeds from calendar sales back into the community. Speaking of, Karen wants to host a poker night, and she wants to invite the new Natalie. Drita thinks is a good idea so they can all see how Natalie 2.0 interacts with the crew.
Last night’s show starts where last week’s left off, with Ang preparing to snap Renee’s neck. New Natalie DiDonato can’t believe she’s hanging out with a new and crazy group of women, but she’s kind of intrigued so she’s not going anywhere. Karen Gravano tries to wrangle Renee as she screams at a retreating Ang. Keep in mind that Ang isn’t fleeing because she’s fearful of Renee, but because she’s worried what she’ll do if she stays. It’s always a litmus test for insanity when Karen is the voice of reason. Poor Drita D’avanzo just wanted to have a nice party to promote her store.
