It's been a rough couple of days for Real Houswives of Orange County'sTamra Barney. The outspoken Bravolebrity is in the hospital recovering from emergency surgery. Very scary! What she suspected was ulcer pain turned out to be a very problematic hernia.
Before calling 9-1-1, Tamra took to Twitter to share her pain, tweeting, "Sh*t here we go again, think its time to see a doctor? Severe pain in upper stomach after drinking coffee. Ulcer maybe?" Thankfully the ambulance came before she could fire off any more tweets.
When reality TV friendships fall apart, all the skeletons come out of the closet and start dancing on some graves. The age-old adage, ‘Keep your friends close and enemies closer’ has never been so true than when a reality show friendship goes belly-up.
Following a tumultuous season ofReal Housewives of Orange County where friendships turned wonky, Tamra Barney and Vicki Gunvalson have it quits. But they’re not just quietly walking away; oh no – they’re turning to the power of social media to disparage each other something awful. Twitter – ruining the lives of C-List Celebrities everywhere.
Among the mudslinging and the allegations they are both turning on each other’s significant others as well. I have to ask: Is every man in Orange County a sleaze ball loser? I’m starting to wonder based on what I see on TV!
Our favorite reality TV stars can’t get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to Twitter to share even more with us. And we love them for it! Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite photos from the Twitterverse this week! Enjoy!
Above, Teresa Giudice shared a photo from dinner with former RHONJ co-star Dina Manzo: “Had dinner with @DinaManzo last night. So great to have a girls night out! Love love love her! xx The beautiful blonde on the left with me & Dina is Jackie — she’s the one who first introduced us. Love her!! xx”
So last night on Real Housewives of Orange County we watched Tamra Barney get engaged to Eddie Judge on the most amazingly romantic trip to Bora Bora. It was a beautiful proposal and a lovely vacation – and congrats to the happy couple. Dang, I’d date Eddie for a vacation like that.
There’s been a lot of gossip that this trip was originally planned for Gretchen Rossi and Slave Smileybecause he was going to surprise her with a proposal in the hopes of getting a spinoff, of course! Unfortunately – according to legend – Gretchen found out about Slave’s plan and flipped her shizz so Bravo offered up the trip to Eddie instead. And it’s a good thing that Gretchen refused to go, because while Eddie has a job, Slave doesn’t and we all know there’s no way in hell he could afford the Four Seasons and first class airfare to Bora Bora.
Now I’m not saying Eddie wasn’t planning to propose already – he probably was – but who would pass up a 5-star vacation to Bora Bora? Not anyone with sense, that’s for sure. Tamra is obviously beside herself that anyone would ever think such a thing and even went so far to get into a twitter snipe fest with former Real Housewives of New York star Alex McCord over the accusation. You know there may be no truth to it, but as Aviva Drescher reminded us last night where there’s smoke, there’s usually fire – and there’s been a lot of smoke surrounding this story.
For your Friday dose of The Real Housewives of Orange County, we have three weddings and a divorce, and an on-and-off friendship that is apparently back on again. I’m sure I’ll be telling you differently on Monday!
And another Bravo Housewives marriage bites the dust. Lynne Curtin, the cuff selling, non-blinking, exercise fanatic from seasons four and five of RHOC, is planning to divorce her husband Frank. As you recall, the couple famously lived far above their means (which is apparently a qualification to be on the franchise), with Frank hiding the money woes from his wife and two daughters. The couple was even served with an eviction notice while being filmed for the show!
Yesterday Lynne announced, “After more than 20 years of marriage Frank and I have decided to go our separate way. I love Frank but it was time to go out on my own.”
“Who knows what the future holds, but I’m looking forward to doing the things that I want to do,” continues Lynne, adding that she has yet to file for divorce.
In a phone interview with the Orange County Register, Frank stated, “I’m not a willing participant in this. It hurts to even think about it or talk about it. Call me old-fashioned, but I take my vows very seriously.”
