Evelyn Lozada And Chad Johnson Meet In Court – To Drop Restraining Order!

Are Chad Johnson and Evelyn Lozada on the road to reconciliation?

After a domestic violence incident ended their marriage just 42 days after their wedding, Chad and Evelyn had both seemed to move on. But the two showed up in a courtroom today to ask a judge to drop the restraining order that had been in place since the head-butting altercation. Perhaps she's just wanting to chat so Chad can explain his cheating ways?

Back in September Chad was officially charged with battery after head-butting Evelyn during a fight in August and was ordered to have no contact with her. Even though they continued to Twitter stalk each other, they obviously have a desire to speak face to face. The judge granted Evelyn's request after she made it clear that she is no longer afraid that Chad will harm her.

Evelyn Lozada And Chad Johnson Are Officially Divorced

Just one month after filing for divorce (after just 42 days of marriage), Evelyn Lozada and Chad "ochocinco" Johnson are officially divorced. Take that, Kim Kardashian! THIS is how you get married and divorced lickety split! (Is that divorce moving at a snail's pace or what!?)

Evelyn filed the paperwork to get the ball rolling to end her union just four weeks ago. At first Chad wasn't on board and thought he could fight to keep his marriage despite that whole headbutting/domestic violence incident. He caved in and filed his paperwork late last week and it's already finalized and over after a Florida judge signed off on it.

Next up for Chad is facing the misdemeanor battery charges filed against him.

Tonight Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada speaks out for the first time since the domestic dispute with soon-to-be ex-husband Chad Johnson.

In the sneak peek of the interview with 'Nightline', Evelyn shares "It's the hardest thing in the world to walk away from someone that you really love. But you have to walk away because I have to protect myself."
