Yesterday we announced that the ladies of Real Housewives of Orange County are back! Bravo released the first trailer for the upcoming season, premiering on April Fool's Day aptly!

Despite the controversy, last season's cast returns in its entirety and joining them is newbie Lydia McLauglin. Below are photos and bios for the season eight cast and I am excited to see a whole lot less blonde extensions!

VIDEO: Real Housewives of Orange County Season 8 Returns!

The first ladies of Bravo's most scandalous franchise are back! The eighth season of Real Housewives of Orange County and confirmed newest housewife Lydia McLaughlin!

All the old favorites (using that word lightly) are returning. So it's another season of Tamra Barney, Vicki Gunvalson, Gretchen Rossi – and of course Alexis Bellino. Lone brunette Heather Dubrow also makes a return.

A trailer for the new season is below! "Debauchery, Drama, and Scandals," it is! Official cast photos and bios coming soon!

Jay Photoglou Loses Again In Court Against Real Housewives of Orange County’s Gretchen Rossi!

If you learn nothing else from reality television…know this–don't mess with Real Housewives of Orange County's Gretchen Rossi! Jay Photoglou found out the hard way…and to the tune of over $500,000!

As you recall, Jay and Gretchen had a very public he-said-she-said over some pretty nasty rumors (and pictures, if I recall correctly). Gretchen sued Jay for defamation, among other things, claiming she lost job opportunities based on the lies he was spreading about her in the media. Now Jay wants a re-trial. Good luck with that, buddy!

Bravolebrities unite! The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and the Real Housewives of Orange County mingled last night at the Family Equality Council's awards dinner in L.A.

RHOC's Tamra Barney, Eddie Judge and Gretchen Rossi spent the night hanging out with RHOBH's Brandi Glanville, Kyle Richards and Camille Grammer.

Kyle and Tamra were almost twinsies in their black jump suits.

Real Housewives of Orange County Star Gretchen Rossi Dishes On Her Sex Life With Slade Smiley!

Collective EWWWWWW time! Gretchen Rossi is apparently very in love with Slave Smiley. And the two have been talking baby making plans and wedding dates all with the hopes of securing their own Bravo spinoff, I'm sure!

In a new interview the Real Housewives of Orange County couple says things are better then ever between the sheets and elsewhere. ~~Is Slade paying his child support yet?~~ And their babymaking and marriage plans will be a "hot topic" on the upcoming season 8.

"This is the happiest we’ve been in the four years since we’ve had a relationship," Gretchen gushes to OK!. "Our relationship continues to get better and better. Everyday we find some more that we love about each other and it’s just a really blissful relationship."

PHOTOS: Reality TV Stars Attend The Premiere Of Julianne Hough’s New Movie ‘Safe Haven’

When a reality star hits the big time, it give the rest of them hope. Last night former Dancing with the Stars pro dancer Julianne Hough gave them all a peek at the A-List life.

Reality TV stars and many of Julianne's former DWTS co-stars turned out for the premiere of her new flick "Safe Haven", which is based on the Nicholas Sparks novel of the same name.

Among the stars who turned out: Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Gretchen Rossi, who is apparently a close personal friend of Nicholas Sparks. Who knew? She shared on Facebook, "Super excited for the Premiere of Safe Haven tonight with my dear friend @sparksnicholas".

Julianne's DWTS cohorts Peta Murgatroyd, brother Derek Hough, previous season contestants Chelsea Kane, Gavin DeGraw and others turned out to support her. Shahs of Sunset star Lilly Ghalichi showed up because she heard there'd be cameras.
