Sure, every show in the Real Housewives franchise is unique is, but there are certain elements that carry through in every series. Although each Housewife is unique, there is pretty much always one person in each show who is a real stickler for etiquette- and wants every single person to be aware of it.
These are the ladies who live by a set of social rules and love to remind the other cast members about it whenever they possibly can. You know who I’m talking about and there’s one of these girls in each series. Sometimes these ladies are just genuinely trying to share some guidance based on their past experiences. And other times these are the kind of women who just like to hear themselves talk about etiquette over and over again.
Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to social media to share even more of their lives with us. And we would not have it any other way. Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite snapshots and selfies from this week. Enjoy.
Are y’all ready to see some house porn? They may have missed their March move-in deadline, but Heather Dubrow and husband Terryon the home stretch of finishing their dream mansion. Like the Real Housewives of Orange County couple, the home is small and understated, with just enough space for their family of six. And a hundred other people…and a tree…in the basement. I’m not positive, but I think their master bedroom is bigger than my entire house.
As furniture slowly but surely makes it way into the giant abode, dubbed Dubrow Chateau, the Botched star reveals he hasn’t been to the site in weeks. Heather insists her husband stay out of the construction phase because she doesn’t want his “constructive” (haha!) criticism. Of course, we’re sure to be treated to progress updates when the RHOC season debuts on June 20th. In the meantime, you can check out a video tour from Heather. I’m not going to say the rooms are so enormous that her voice echos, but…the rooms are so big her voice echos.
This week’s episode of Heather Dubrow’s World included some scoop on the new season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, plus a little info on the upcoming Season 8: Uncensored special. Heather also gave a quick update on the investment-gone-scam lawsuits.
Heather says that the RHOC cast filmed a cool special for a behind the scenes look at season 8 (we’re on season 11 right now, just fyi). Season 8 was the year Lydia McLaughlin joined. “They sat us all down and did interviews with us.” She says that it was the season that Gretchen Rossiproposed to Slade Smiley. Heather says they got to talk about anything and everything and break down the fourth wall during this look back. “We talked about the producers, we talked about the other cast members, it is so cool. I’ve seen pieces of it. It’s funny, it’s sad – some of it, and it’s interesting.”
Tamra has been training for months by lifting weights, doing a ton of cardio at CUT Fitness, and eating super clean – then she grabbed her glamsquad and showed off her muscles in an itty-bitty sequined bikini. #AbsForJesus.
Below are photos from Tamra’s fitness competition and also the RHOC finale party.
Let’s take a peek at how some of your favorite reality TV stars spent Memorial Day weekend.
Above: Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice shared, “Down the shore with my baby girl Gabriella.” On Facebook, she added, “We had a terrific weekend, we spent time on the beach, supporting Gabriella at her soccer tournament, cooking great food, & remembering what the Memorial Day holiday is all about. Hope you all had a blessed holiday weekend too.”
I love Heather Dubrow, but listening to her talk about building her house during the last season of Real Housewives of Orange County got boring pretty quickly. Part of that is because I know I will never live in a mansion like that so I am just pretty jealous. And also it is just not at all interesting. The only time I want to hear about custom cabinets is if Heather is having a screaming match with a contractor. Other than that, I don’t think it makes great TV.
I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way. And with that said, I have some pretty sad news. This house is still not finished. And the super teaser for RHOC’s eleventh season just came out so that indicates to me that a majority (if not all) of the season has been filmed. This makes me think that Heather will be talking about the construction of this house for two seasons in a row. Ugh.
