So wait…you’re telling me that finding a spouse on a reality show doesn’t always work?  Color me shocked!  I do have to admit I had high hopes for the Bachelorette’s Emily Maynard and Jef Holm.  Even though getting engaged after living in a jet-setting fantasy world for six weeks may not form the strongest relationship, I feel that One F has such a good head on his broad shoulders that perhaps these two crazy kids could work.

In spite of cheating rumors that were confirmed by Jef’s brother, the pair still claims to be going strong.  The couple has been out and about in Charlotte kissing and holding hands for every photog in town.  However, could it be a case of protesting too much?

In a shocking Bachelor Pad twist, Holly Durst and Blake Julian not only fell in love on the show, but they actually got married!  Bachelor Pad is like a modern-day (read, classless and trashy) version of Circus of the Stars – it’s all fun and games of the (not so) famous. Bachelor Pad, compared to The Bachelorette, is less about romantic dates and amazing proposals and more about selling each other and yourself out to get to the cash prize.  Holly Durst, winner of season 2 of Bachelor Pad, got both – a romantic proposal and the cash prize.

Holly and Blake got married on June 2nd in South Carolina.  Holly talks to Cupid’s Pulse about the very special day and the honeymoon that followed.  Holly is settling right into her new life.  She says, “I’m so happy! I love married life. It’s just the best!”

Nobody goes on Bachelor Pad to fall in love and meet their soul mate. Nope, they show up to win money. Well sometimes things don’t go as planned, because this Saturday Bachelor Pad alums Holly Durst and Blake Julian tied the knot!

The couple said “I do” in front of 115 guests at the The Cliffs country club in South Carolina. Holly wore an Alfred Angelo gown, which according to Us Weekly featured: “A dramatic sweetheart neckline, draped bodice (which she customized with a sash), tufted skirt and a sweep train.”

“I couldn’t be happier with my Alfred Angelo wedding dress! It was really hard to choose because there were so many beautiful choices, but I knew I found my dream dress the moment I put it on!,” Holly gushed.

Not surprisingly, several Bachelor Pad castmates were in attendance; Erica Rose, Ella Nolan, Justin Rego and West Lee showed up for the big day. I can’t believe Vienna was left off the guest list. #EyeRoll.

Last week, yet another cycle of the ABC-sponsored divorce competition The Bachelorette premiered, this time with Emily Maynard, the former fiancee of 2011 Bachleor, Brad Womack. Brad claims he wasn’t one of the thousands watching and snarking on Emily’s quest for love amongst people who desperately want to be on television, but I’m doubtful.

In an interview with local channel ABC 13, Brad says, “All I’ll say is she is a helluva woman and I hope it works out. I have no interest [in watching].” Maybe Brad prefers DVR or reading the live tweets of the show. I just have a hard time believing anyone wouldn’t watch a television show featuring their ex, especially one he broke up with so relatively recently. Just admit it, Brad!

Former Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants Holly Durst and Ali Fedotowsky throw Emily Maynard their best advice and well wishes.

Holly, who was a season 12 contestant on The Bachelor and the winner of Bachelor Pad 2, has faith that Emily will find Mr. Right.

“I think Emily is adorable, and I think she’s going to do a great job. I hope she finds love. I don’t know her personally but I think she’s the cutest thing in the world.”

Holly strongly believes in finding love on reality TV, since she’s set to marry her Bachelor Pad co-star Blake Julian next month. She tells Rumor Fix: “I found love on the show, and I believe in the whole system. No matter who you end up with, know it was your choice and no one else’s. Love that man with all that you are and you will truly find your happiness! Good Luck.”

Following the surprise announcement on the Bachelor Pad finale that his ex-fiance was now engaged to her new beau, Michael Stagliano is speaking out on what he calls a humiliating moment.

On Monday’s airing of the Bachelor Pad reunion, Michael was brought out on stage and told his ex Holly Durst was enaged to fellow contestant Blake Julian. Immediately following the reunion taping last week in Los Angeles, both Michael and Holly spoke to PEOPLE.

“I was caught off guard, humiliated. I know neither Holly nor Blake wanted it to go down like that,” said Michael. “I’m now even more thankful for the talk we had two weeks ago, which provided closure I didn’t have before. If we hadn’t had that that, it would have been so much worse tonight. I might have just walked off stage.”

Holly, who actually got engaged days before the reunion taping, goes on to blame ABC and the Bachelor Pad producers for setting up Michael.

“I was really upset,” said Holly. “I was thinking, “Well, at least I will be able to tell him before the show so he isn’t blindsided.” But I wasn’t allowed to speak to him prior to walking out on stage. As soon as I sat down, I whispered that I needed to talk badly and then the bomb was dropped almost immediately. He was blindsided. That was the lowest thing they could have done for ratings.”

Umm Holly, you had days to tell him but you didn’t! Michael however keeps it classy when he reveals he is actually happy for Holly despite all.

Michael states, “We were engaged and therefore I will always care about and love her so it makes me happy when she is happy. I wish we could have been happy together but we’re always going to care about and love each other. I have no reason to be mad at Holly or Blake. You can’t help who you fall for.”

Holly adds, “If we had walked out there hating each other, I don’t think we would have gotten as many votes. He’s the best guy and I can’t wait for him to find the right girl.”

Meanwhile Bachelor insider Reality Steve is reporting that Holly’s fiance Blake got the $25,000 Neil Lane diamond engagement ring for free from ABC in exchange for allowing them to tape the proposal. Classy. Holly will reportedly have to return the three carats cushion-cut diamond ring in the case that the engagement gets called off.

TELL US – IS ABC OR HOLLY TO BLAME FOR MICHAEL FINDING OUT ABOUT THE ENGAGEMENT THE WAY HE DID?

The Bachelor Pad season 2 three-hour finale aired last night and new winners were crowned!

Beating out the other 16 contestants, Holly Durst and her partner/ex-fiance Michael Stagliano emerged the winners, taking home the $250,000 prize on the ABC show Monday night.

Holly and Michael beat out runner-ups Graham Bunn and Michelle Money. The 14 eliminated contestants were the ones who voted, giving Holly and Michael got 10 votes, while Michelle and Graham only got 4.

The finale was of course not without drama. It was revealed that Holly, 28, had gotten engaged to Blake Julian, 28, much to the complete surprise of her former fiance Michael, 27. Michael was understandably upset as he wondered why he had to find out about the engagement on the show.

While Michael admitted he was “hurt” he hadn’t heard about her engagement before the reunion show, he didn’t let it deter him from choosing to share the prize with Holly. The two partners ended up taking home $125,000 each.

TELL US – THOUGHTS ON THE FINALE? SHOULD HOLLY HAVE INFORMED MICHAEL ABOUT THE ENGAGEMENT BEFORE HAND?
