Holly Montag

The Hills last season

The show that started back in 2006 as a spin-off of Laguna Beach is finally coming to an end tonight. A quick look at the above cast photo of the current cast tells you all you need to know about the changes the show has endured since it premiered 4 years ago.

Another look at the above cast is also a great indication of why most fans of the show are more than ready for it to be finally over. Quite frankly, the Hills today is simply not the show we all fell in love with several years ago. From Heidi Montag’s atrocious cartoonish phsycial change to numerous reports of the entire show being fake and the cast actually being given scripts, it becomes more apparent as to why the show’s ratings have taken a tremendous dip in the last few seasons.

The departure of the show’s star Lauren Conrad, who has since written a best seller, and addition of the proclaimed “bitch” Kristin Cavallari, who made headlines this year for allegedly being a coke-head, definitely failed to help matters or resurrect the ailing show. And there’s no need to even touch on the additions of the random siblings, aka Stephanie Pratt and Holly Montag.

Not appearing in tonight’s finale or after-show are Spencer Pratt and wife Heidi. At first the two’s famewhoring shenanigans were obnoxious but somewhat entertaining to watch. Things however took an extreme turn for the darker side when Heidi came out this year with a new face, new boobs, new ears, new butt, new stomach, and new thighs. Just like that, the Heidi/Spencer union stopped being funny. The world suddenly realized just how troubled these two really were.

But the worst had yet to come. Reports then came out that Spencer was kicked off the show for 6 weeks after threatening to kill a female producer on the show. Spencer’s hiatus from the show however became permanent when he and his wife falsely accused the show’s creator, Adam Divello, of sexually harassing Heidi.

Returning tonight are the show’s alums, Lauren and Whitney Port. Lauren jumped ship last year, while Whitney left the show 2 years ago to star on The City. The two will be appearing on the Hill’s after show. The Hills series finale airs tonight at 10:00pm Eastern.

Above is the season 1 cast photo of the show back when it was real as well as a before and after of Heidi, kind of puts things into perspective uh?

Moving right along. In true famewhore fashion, there are now reports that Spencer Pratt is planning to crash the Hills’ after show party tonight. PEOPLE magazine reports the 26-year-old reality-douche tweeted on Tuesday: “Booking my room @Roosevelt Hotel Hollywood now that I have no place to live I think i should just move in there today (to) stay near the action.”

It just so happens that the Hollywood Roosevelt is the location of tonight’s finale party for the show. Spencer and his “estranged” wife Heidi are however not on the guest list. Guess it’s a chance you take as a famewhore when you decide to falsely accuse the hands that feed you of sexual harassment. The chances of Spencer making it into the party tonight is likely a big zero.

As Heidi Montag continues to be a lost cause in her quest for famewhoredom, her mother Darlene Egelhoff is finally breaking her silence on the rift between she and her daughter.

On last night’s episode of The Hills, Darlene was shown visiting Heidi’s sister, Holly Montag, in LA, during which she opened up about losing her daughter to the devil Spencer Pratt.

“I haven’t slept in months. I had to go get a prescription for sleeping pills just to be able to go to sleep at night to the point that I didn’t even know how I would even make it another day,” she says. “I’ve been mourning the loss of a child and, yeah, it hurts. It hurts more than I thought it could hurt.”

It seems Darlene’s LA visit was likely filmed back in May, when it was reported she visited Heidi’s house only to be turned away by Heidi and Spencer, who called the cops on her. Heidi then publicly commented that she would try to get a restraining order against her own mother.

In other Heidi news, she continues to leak out fake stories, despite the fact that most of the press has been ignoring her ever since it was revealed that she and Spencer faked their infamous split. The two new stories floating around now are that she regrets her 10 surgical procedures, and that she is hoping to get newly single Vienna Girardi to be on her upcoming “reality show.” Good thing Heidi realizes no one wants to watch a show about just her and the douchebag known as Spencer. And at the moment, no network has confirmed a Heidi reality show is in the works.

So what’s an attention whore to do when she just “split” from her controlling husband? Well if you’re Heidi Montag, you immediately strike up a deal to appear on a new reality show about your newly “single” life, and then quickly call up the paparazzi and attempt to make sad faces with your frozen face. The above photo of Heidi was taken Tuesday, June 1st.

UsWeekly and RadarOnline are now confirming today what we all suspected, that the supposed split between Heidi and her hubby Spencer Pratt was 100% a publicity stunt.

According to RadarOnline, the two famewhores were seen smiling and laughing yesterday at Heidi’s beach house. UsWeekly also confirms “Heidi and Spencer are laughing over [the fake split] and having a blast.”

Heidi’s big sister, Holly Montag, 26, even twittered that the couple are “liars.”

A source reveals the two are in publicity seeking mode since the Hills is about to end, and Spencer is no longer on the show. “This breakup is the latest part of Spencer’s master plan,” reveals an insider.

It’s interesting to watch these two continue to self destruct in their quest for fame. There’s a very good chance this will not end well for either of these two. They seem to have no bounds or know no limits when it comes to their actions.

The Hills' Stephanie Pratt

Stephanie Pratt has pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor DUI charge in a Los Angeles court Friday and will enroll in a 30-day rehab residential facility.

The Hills star, 23, was arrested back in October in Hollywood after driving home from fellow castmate, Holly Montags birthday party. Her two breathalyzer tests registered .08 and .09 — the legal limit is .08. She was arrested and released on $5000 bail.

She recently told PEOPLE that the arrest “was the worst thing to happen to me and, at the same time, it was the biggest blessing” as a life lesson. If convicted, Stephanie faces up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.

Stephanie Pratt of MTV’s The Hills was arrested for a DUI this weekend, reports TMZ.

Law enforcement says Pratt was busted Sunday morning at 3:45 AM PT in Hollywood.  She was taken into custody with her bail set at $5,000.

A source close to Stephanie tells TMZ she had just left Holly Montags birthday party when she was pulled over.  The source says cops watched Stephanie get in her car and were waiting to bust her.

Stephanie was released Sunday afternoon after posting bail.

Hollywood actor Lou Diamond Phillips was crowned the champion of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! During Wednesday night’s lives finale broadcast on the NBC, co host Damien Fahey announced Phillips as “King of the Jungle”.

“This experience has proven to be so much greater than I expected it to be,” Phillips said in a video clip that aired before his triumph was revealed. “I expected it to be a competition. I expected it to be hard. What I did not expect was the emotional bonds that we’ve created, the foundation of relationships that will go on from here.”

The final three included retired NBA player John Salley , Former wrestler Torrie Wilson and of course Phillips. The winner was determined by viewers voting. Phillips made an impression on viewers and also fellow celebrity cast.

Salley was the first of the three remaining finalists to be eliminated from the finale based on the voting results of Tuesday night, leaving Phillips and Wilson to duke it out.

“The public has decided and voted and I can honestly tell you two that it was incredibly close. Incredibly close,” Fahey told the pair before revealing Wilson Phillips’ victory.

“Congratulations, you deserve it,” Wilson told Phillips as she immediately embraced him.

Other celebrities on the show were former American Idol finalist Sanjaya Malakar, former supermodel Janice Dickinson, Patti Blagojevich, the wife of indicted former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich, Baldwin brother actors Stephen Baldwin, and Daniel Baldwin; “Frangela” comedy duo members Frances Callier and Angela V.
