About Shamicka, Nicole shared, "She’s turning to us for support in the midst of her divorce [from Martin Lawrence]. She’s working on keeping her daughters’ lives balanced because it’s a change for them. Shamicka and I were neighbors when we were both married to our exes and we always remained friends, so you’re going to see this new, wonderful cast mate of ours.”
Nicole also revealed what viewers should expect from the second season of Hollywood Exes, saying, "The first season was all about getting to know the girls and our characters. This season is more about ‘What is happening here?'"
Turns out, Drea is furious with Jessica, because she publicly tweeted that Drea is a hypocrite and fake. Drea believes that Jessica and her fake DDs need to take a seat, adding, "I'm too damn grown for a Twitter war."
Also, Drea is over the "that's just her" excuse for Jessica's less than desirable behaviors. Enough is enough. "You come at me, I'm going to give it right back to you," vows Drea. "You bring it to me crazy, I'm going to deliver it to you crazy. For $19.95, plus shipping and handling, it's coming right to ya door."
Hollywood Exes returns for a second season next month on VH1 and will feature a new cast member. But the interesting part is that the new castmate isn't Daphne Wayans!
Back for another season are Nicole Murphy, ex-wife of Eddie Murphy, Jessica Canseco, ex-wife of Jose Canseco, Mayte Garcia, ex-wife of Prince, Sheree Fletcher, ex-wife of Will Smith, and Andrea (Drea) Kelly, ex-wife of R. Kelly.Shamicka Lawrence, recently divorced from comedian/actor Martin Lawrence, joins the group.
Daphne was initially confirmed as a new castmate earlier this year and we even interviewed her the day that VH1 verified she had signed on. A few months later, a small rumble of rumors emerged, speculating that Daphne had been fired for being too difficult to deal with. Nobody confirmed or denied the reports, but judging from the season 2 lineup and not a single mention of Daphne, it seems the rumors were true.
