As if her delusions of grandeur aren't troublesome enough already - Farrah Abraham has been named Google's most searched for reality TV star in 2013.
According to Google Zeitgeist, the search phrases "farrah abraham backdoor", "farrah abraham video", "farrah abraham tape", and "farrah abraham full" were wildly popular between May 5 and May 11. Gross. Considering Vivid released the Teen Mom star's porn video on May 6, I'm willing to bet the vast majority of Farrah's fans were more interested in her backdoor than her reality star status.
In the good news department, interest in Farrah (via Google anyway) has been declining since July. Also? Kim Kardashian ranked a lot lower on the list than I would have guessed. My heart sings! However, Teen Mom and Kardashian stories constantly end up at the top of Reality Tea's most viewed list, so neither Farrah nor Kim is going to fade into obscurity anytime soon. Unfortunately.
Mama June the matriarch of the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo fam has just announced that there will be no more pageants. But what reason do I have to watch the show if not for June belting out "Shake It, Smoochie!" in the audience?!
Apparently Honey Boo Boo is so busy pursuing a career in reality TV that the reason she became famous – pageantry – is just too time consuming! Bummer.
Deadline reports were about to see a whole lot more of them come July 17th! The wedding will of course be included in this season's story. I'm sure we'll also get to watch Mama June coupon clip her way through wedding planning. I wonder if she made the dress herself out of hunting tarps? Honey Boo Boo herself, aka Smoochie, aka Alana will also be back to spread the sassy to the pageant world.
How did you celebrate Cinco de Mayo yesterday? Did you enjoy some delicious food and perhaps a margarita or three? I'll tell you what I didn't do. I didn't get invited to McIntyre, Georgia to see Mama June Shannon walk down the aisle to an awaiting Sugar Bear, and that makes me terribly sad…but happy for them. #conflicted
While there is no official word as to whether Alana Thompson's parents actually got married or if it was just a commitment ceremony, the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo family celebrated in a big way…complete with camouflage, barbeque, and hopefully lots of 'sketti. Not surprisingly, TLC cameras were on hand to capture the exciting event.
Pick on June Shannon and her family all you want, but you have to hand it to this reality TV mom for having a good financial head on her shoulders.
June has said in the past that she won't change the way her family lives just because they're earning good money on reality TV. June is frugal and wise, knowing that Here Comes Honey Boo Boo won't last forever, so she saves every cent she can. The celebrity mama is squirreling away all that TLC money for her daughters' futures.
Everyone starts a new year with good intentions, right? Even reality stars! While I'm sure they all have a bevy of things they'd like to improve upon (one would hope!) we thought we'd give them a little help in that department. Below are some of the New Year's Resolutions we wish some of our favorite reality stars would make.
Kim Kardashian: 'Please let my mom leave me alone – I resolve to try and say no to her and stop putting all my embarrassing and indecent moments on TV. I really don't want to have to pull a baby out of my vagina on Keeping Up With The Kardashians like Kourtney did. Does being pregnant mean my child has already sold its soul to E!? I hope not. And I resolve to let being pregnant get more media coverage than that icky divorce. Hopefully my next TV wedding will be less of a mess.'
We really, really hope ol' Kimmie Kakes embraces the notion of privacy. Especially less nudie pics on Twitter and less revealing clothing. We've already seen it all, anyway. #sextape #playboy
RosieO'Donnell recently declared her love for Alana Thompson and her family. I'll admit… I'm one of the few around here who compares Here Comes Honey Boo Boo to a train wreck. It doesn't feel right to watch it, but I cannot look away. I still do not know if the show gives me the warm fuzzies or the heebie jeebies.
Rosie admitted Here Come Honey Boo Boo took some getting used to. "For the first 10 minutes, I was kinda stunned," Rosie said. "For the second 10 minutes, I was touched. And for the last 10 minutes I thought, this is really revolutionary TV in a way most people won't understand." Rosie was so enamored, she offered to buy the family a new house!
June Shannon finally responded to Rosie's offer. She told Rosie the same thing she told TLC – they love their house, railroad tracks and all. After acknowledging Rosie's kindness, June said, "We're not looking for a hand out, but we do want to renovate our house."
"We're in," Rosie told People in response to June's not-so-subtle hint. "Are you kidding me? Of course!"
