Egomaniac and wanna-be media queen Tyra Banks recently shocked America’s Next Top Model fans by firing her long time co-judges Nigel Barker, Jay Manuel, and J. Alexander (better known as “Miss Jay”). Can you imagine an ANTM universe without Miss Jay? I don’t think I want to, and it turns out, most fans don’t, either. It was bad enough when she fired the divine Andre Leon Talley and replaced him with Kelly Cutrone, but now this?

Tyra Banks Cleans House On America’s Next Top Model: Fires Nigel Barker, J. Alexander And Jay Manuel

Tyra Banks is cleaning house on America’s Next Top Model!

The host and executive producer gave walking papers to photographer Nigel Barker, runway coach J. Alexander and creative director Jay Manuel!

She confirmed news of the major overhaul on her Facebook page.

To my Nigel Barker, Miss J, and Mr Jay: Thank you for all of our years together on America’s Next Top Model! Working with you is always an absolute pleasure. Excited for what the future holds for us. XOXO, TyTy

Rumor has it they were just told yesterday that their contracts wouldn’t be renewed for next season.

Wow, that’s a big shakeup! I can’t wait to see who she replaces them with!

Lauren Conrad & Kim Kardashian Will Guest Judge On Top Model

America’s Next Top Model just got more glamorous. Lauren Conrad and Kim Kardashian will appear separately as guest judges when the show returns for it’s 13th cycle.

LC will join host Tyra Banks, photographer Nigel Barker and runway diva J. Alexander on the judges’ panel on Sept. 16, while Kim will take her turn on Oct. 21.

According to People, each episode of the new cycle, which premieres Sept. 9 (8 p.m. EST) on the CW, will feature a member of the fashion community as a guest judge.

Former judge Paulina Porizkova will no longer be appearing on the show, as she was fired back in May. Another first for this season? All of the contestants on this cycle will be 5?7? and under.
