Our favorite reality TV stars can’t get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to Twitter to share even more with us. And we love them for it! Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite photos from the Twitterverse this week! Enjoy!
Above, Teresa Giudice shared a photo from dinner with former RHONJ co-star Dina Manzo: “Had dinner with @DinaManzo last night. So great to have a girls night out! Love love love her! xx The beautiful blonde on the left with me & Dina is Jackie — she’s the one who first introduced us. Love her!! xx”
Oh reality television stars… you never cease to amaze me. One of the greatest things about reality TV is scathing, over the top, out of control ridiculous cat fights, arguments, and behind the back insults. It’s what differentiates reality from reality TV. See, I would never call someone a “dumb drag queen” … but in the wilds of reality TV, anything goes!
Reality Tea has compiled a list of some of our favorite reality TV insults. Below is some delightful footage of our hardworking stars doing what they do best – acting nutty and getting paid to do so! Let the memories come flooding back.
Last night on Real Housewives of New Jersey there was actually a sweet storyline. Jaime Laurita got married and it was really, really beautiful. Although everyone mostly got along, there was some trouble over a tabloid article Teresa Giudicedid. Melissa Gorga also gave us a demo of her new song, which, aaaaaaahhhh… I wish I could un-hear. Ok, I admit – it was a fun dance song…
Also, Caroline Manzo has been referring to herself in third person a lot, which has me worried. Nonetheless, I think I’m going to refer to Caroline Manzo as Caroline Manzo at all times. Caroline Manzo probably doesn’t like when people do that to Caroline Manzo.
Things begin with Jacqueline Laurita and Chris discovering an oh so conveniently placed copy of In Touch Weekly which also oh so conveniently has a photo of Teresa, Gabriella (I think) and a puppy on the cover. I wonder if room service is doling these mags out – you know, leaving it in front of the door like they do USA Today and The Wall Street Journal. Frankly, it’s not a bad idea – I love tabloids.
Oh, the repercussions of Costa Mexico! Just once I’d love to write something happy or positive about one of Bravo’s housewives franchises, but alas, I may have to wait until 2013. Here’s hoping! Oh well, onto the Real Housewives of Orange County! Before we begin, let me start with a disclaimer I seem to tout with all of these housewives posts. These women are all pretty much ridiculous. (Not you, Heather Dubrow. Want to plan a wardrobe swap soon? I’ve got some great Target pieces I think you’d really love to wear! Call me. #eventrade)
With all the fallout from the recent intervention (you know, the one that let Alexis Bellino know she’s shallow and pretentious…so nothing like her co-stars), it was rumored that the reunion may be missing a cast member. Thankfully, Alexis didn’t pull a Jacqueline Laurita, and she was there to face Andy Cohen’s music with the rest of her O.C. cohorts.
Let’s talk about hypocrites… we see a lot of those on reality TV. Something we also see a lot of is impending nervous breakdowns – and it seems to me we’re witnessing a scary combination of the two in Caroline Manzo. Last night’s episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey was supposed to be about gay rights with the celebration of Jaime Laurita‘s wedding and Rosie Pierri accepting her own sexuality – sadly it was eclipsed by Caroline vs. Teresa Giudice with Caroline serving up more pettiness and more spite. This show was also about sibling relationships – and so many of these reality sibs actually have some pretty abysmal ones.
Things begin with Teresa and Gia having a chat about Teresa’s never peaceable relationship with Joe Gorga. Teresa is poking at Gia to open up with her while Gia is poking at an eggo waffle – I don’t remember that recipe being in any of T’s cookbooks! I kid, I kid.
Teresa wants to know if Gia thinks she is working hard enough on her relationship with Non-Juicy Joe and if she should do anything differently. Teresa taking advice from a ten-year-old says everything. LOL. In all actuality I thought it was a very sweet and age-appropriate conversation. I appreciated that Teresa wanted Gia to know they are working on things, but I also think Gia is exposed to a leetle too much family drama.
While there is no new episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey tonight, the tumult rages on! Teresa Giuidce can’t keep her family drama out of the media for a second. First it’s her brother, then her husband, and now her daughter! Wherever Teresa goes, it seems chaos follows. However, despite appearances things aren’t as bad as they seem!
Our source tells Reality Tea EXCLUSIVELY that no matter what happens Teresa remains loyal to her husband Joe Giudice and will never divorce him! “Teresa will never leave Joe. She worships him,” our source shares. But it goes deeper than Teresa just loving her husband – apparently it’s also about her pride. “Plus, she will never let anyone see her fail at anything, including her marriage.”
Despite Joe‘s less than appealing behavior this season – including last week’s episode where he threatened to leave Teresa – is apparently the result of pressure from the show and from the media. “Joe’s behavior is off the wall due to all the TV pressure and family drama,” our source explains.
“Joe doesn’t like drama and never starts problems. He is quick to forgive and move on. Joe is not a mean person. His anger and frustration are a result of the show.” Joe may be a wonderful man, but that doesn’t take away from his DUI and his pending trial which could land him in prison for up to 10 years!

Was it field day or feud day on this past episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey? Don’t you just love reading the women’s blogs, hearing what they have to say, knowing all the things they know now? Those talking head interviews can be really biting, and it’s never easy to hear a supposed friend talking smack about you. That said, can we please talk about Jacqueline Laurita and Caroline Manzo’s sportsmanship intervention with G-to-the-ia? I am not going to comment on the spunky Miss Gia (as I think it’s incredibly unacceptable and disgusting to see how some bloggers and commenters bash these kids who never asked to be growing up on television in the first place), but I will ask, do you think Jacqueline went to far in disciplining her friend’s child? Jacqueline addresses the situation in her Bravo blog:
Oh lawdy, last night was a night of meltdowns wasn’t it?Real Housewives of New Jersey was an emotional hot mess of whining, tantrums, crying, cursing, bickering, double talk and fat talk. Sometimes we all freak out – even if we are a forty-something father of four or a ten-year-old girl or an overweight twenty-four year old woman. You know what – we’re all just people at the end of the day.
But before we get to tantrums, let’s talk butt cheeks. There were a lot of those weren’t there? There were also bras and tampons. And I learned something important today that I never particularly wanted to know… Teresa Giudice didn’t wear a tampon until she was 27. Did she never go to the beach on her period until she was married?
So things begin in the car with Teresa and Joe Giudice. She tells him about the pool party and he starts screaming and cursing about how much he hates her family and will throw them out of his house and kill people. It was horrible. Juicy needs an intravenous drip of prozac and an anger management coach. Teresa was mortified – as well she should be – dump this loser please. He’s bad for her image and her self-esteem.
