Ever since Jacqueline Laurita shared her family’s financial difficulties during the premiere of Real Housewives of New Jersey this season, I can’t help feeling like she’s determined to stay on this show. Don’t get me wrong, I would feel the same way, but I feel like she’s just such a shit stirrer, especially when it comes to Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga’s family drama. She seems like more of an instigator than a peacemaker since she has no qualms interfering and criticizing Teresa and Melissa for how they handle familial issues.
Now, Jacqueline has taken it upon herself to be the crusader for Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierri. I know she is legitimately friends with them and cares about their well-being, but I feel like she is always riling them up to talk shit about Teresa and adding fuel to the fire. Sure, a big part of being on reality TV is talking about your feelings to create story line, but Kathy and Rosie are not even Housewives, so it’s a little much for me.
Other reality stars were out and about over the weekend, celebrating pre-Emmy parties and attend the awards show last night: Claudia Jordan, Porsha Williams, and others. NeNe Leakes was also over on the West Coast to attend the 5th Annual Women Making History brunch.
The Kardashians invaded Miami this week with Kim forgetting most of her outfit at the hotel. Also seen out and about: Bella Hadid, Kim Zolciak, Rachel Zoe and more. Check out all of the photos below!
Season 7 of Real Housewives Of New Jersey continues to center around the transformation of Teresa Giudice. Flashbacks to the season 4 reunion feature an enraged Teresa, morphed into TreHulk – bright green dress and all! – screaming into Kathy Wakile‘s face, contrasted with a post-prison Teresa, calmly explaining that she’s just “not ready” to deal with the emotional weight of rebuilding her relationships with her cousins. Instead, it is Rosie screaming in frustration.
It exemplifies a point that no one on Real Housewives of New Jersey seems to understand until it is way too late: no matter how much you want it so, no matter how much you regret your actions – from the person you married, to the words you said, to all the money you shouldn’t have spent – you can’t erase the past. In the immortal words of Cher, “If I could turn back time/If I could find a way/ I’d take back those words that hurt you…”
Jacqueline Laurita has discovered a new way to drunk rant – is this good or bad? She recently posted two videos answering viewer questions about her life, the show, and all things in between. Interestingly, Jacqueline ignored most of the questions about Teresa Giudice (she was asked over and over again where they currently stand) but she did address her situation with Dina Manzo, drop hints about the reunion, dish on almost landing a spinoff, and more.
Jacqueline is preparing for the Real Housewives Of New Jersey reunion, which films next month. Jacqueline predicts it’ll “be a good one” and “extremely eventful,” adding, “I think it’s gonna be pretty intense.”
On last night’s Real Housewives Of New Jersey, desperation and delusion was in the air…I am pretty sure that scent is sprayed over Montville with a crop duster.
Siggy Flicker doesn’t seem to understand that her children are not squishy stuffed animals she can squeeze, squeal at, dress up, and toss around. On the other hand, Siggy’s children don’t understand that she is their mother and they should show her some respect! I dunno maybe it has something to do with Siggy decorating her daughter’s room in No.1 Sophie paraphernalia? Or acting like One Direction has showed up every time she sees Josh?
When Josh returns home from passing his driver’s test, the very first words out of mouth are “When are you gonna buy me a car?” Someone is driving straight into his future on the Teresa Giudice entitlement train!
On last night’s Real Housewives Of New Jersey, the saga of Teresa Giudice‘s never-wavering love for Joe continued. Unfortunately for Joe, he’s about to go away for a 41 month ‘staycation’ at the federal penitentiary and no home security cameras are gonna replace him once Teresa takes over.
While Joe binge drinks and verbally abuses his dog, daughters, and wife, Teresa gets ready for the official launch of Turning The Tables. A lot rests on this little book – a veritable ‘How Not To’ manual for aspiring Italian Housewives everywhere. A tale as aged as wine of a woman who vowed to stand by her man through orange is the new black, through bankruptcy and back, through thick and thickening girth, through humiliation and outbursts, through cheating and chutzpah…
When it comes to Real Housewives of New Jersey, I’m so used to the craziness and table flipping and rogue fashion shows amped up on faux fur, pleather, white zin, and screaming–it’s actually weird when we get to see the calmer side of things. Am I right? This week’s episode was relatively free of the drama and cattiness these ladies love to spew. What’s that about? We all know a girls’ weekend is when the claws come out for the housewives. Not this one…only Jacqueline Laurita’s paranoia was present, but honestly, we’re all used to it at this point.
Siggy Flicker deserves a slow clap for the reconciliation I never imagined possible between Jacqueline and Teresa Giudice, and it was certainly refreshing to see more laughing out loud and less lashing out between the frenemies who have been fuming and feuding for ages. Over-under on how long this will last? Carolina Manzo has an idea…
I’ve been wondering why it took Dolores Catania so long to become an official cast member on Real Housewives of New Jersey since she’s been friends with the original crew for decades. Now I realized it was probably because she’s just too kind and normal. Nevertheless, Dolores has made it her mission to be the peace maker in the group along with the other new girl Siggy Flicker. With that said, Dolores and Siggy seem pretty determined to make sure that Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita resolve their differences.
Just based on the trailer for Season 7 and all of the trash talking in the press and on social media, it is pretty clear that Tre and Jac are far from being best friends. They’ve emphasized a million times that there will always be a love there thanks to their long history, but it doesn’t seem realistic that these two will come back together, no matter how hard Dolores and Siggy try.
