Jake Pavelka

The fourth week of Dancing with the Stars started with various dance moves which included the bolero, Charleston, two step and lambada.

At the end of the result show last night, Chuck Liddell and Anna Trebunskaya were the latest couple to be eliminated from DWTS. The couple scored 17 points for their two step on Monday’s show.

“I had fun, we had a good time,” said Liddell. He added about the dancing, “It’s difficult, it’s hard to do.”

“You are a gentle giant… I loved working with you… You made me so proud,” Anna said about Chuck.

As promised during the show, ABC announced Jake Pavelka as the new Bachelor. This is not surprising considering multiple sources had previously revealed Jake to be the bachelor.

The Bachelor fans no longer have to wait for ABC’s official announcement on October 13th as multiple sources are now confirming Jake Pavelka to be the next Bachelor!

Brittany Gammell, a Tenessee native — who says she’s been cast to be on the upcoming season of The Bachelor tells Musiccitytv.com that indeed, Jake the Pilot is the new Bachelor.

“He’s pretty cute. I’ve seen he was on The Bachelorette. I’m not worried about that part,” said the 25-year-old Brittany, who adds that the taping of the show will begin Oct. 12 in L.A.

RealitySteve also believes Jake’s the new Bachelor, saying Kiptyn Locke was not a contender due to his non interest, leaving the final choice between Jake and Reid Rosenthal. He reveals that all signs point to Jake being the chosen one.

It’s a bit surprising to see Jake chosen as the new Bachelor, as I thought Reid was the favorite to win. ABC chose not to comment on this report, but one can’t help but wonder whether or not there will be any penalties levied against Brittany for revealing this information, if she is indeed a contestant. What she did is a huge no no, and she basically ruined ABC’s big surprise reveal on Dancing With The Stars’ Oct. 13th episode.

Tell Us: Are You Happy With Jake as The New Bachelor?

The Bachelorette's Reid, Kiptyn and Jake

The Bachelor fans are free to rejoice once again as ABC will be announcing the new “Bachelor” on Tuesday, Oct. 13 live on Dancing with the Stars.

The host of the show, Chris Harrison, also confirmed this news via his Twitter page.

The show’s producer, Mike Fleiss, had previously confirmed the next Bachelor would be one of the contestants from Jillian Harris‘s recent Bachelorette season, even narrowing the choices down to three men. “When the new season of The Bachelor premieres, look for Reid, Kiptyn or Jake to be handing out the red roses,” said Fleiss.

There are however rumblings that the new Bachelor could be a new contestant all together. Our previous polls showed a preference for Reid as the next Bachelor.

The new season of “The Bachelor” will premiere in early 2010; with all signs pointing to Monday, Jan. 4, though the actual premier date has yet to be confirmed.

The last seasons of both The Bachelor and Bachelorette have both ended with a bang, as Bachelorette winner Ed Swiderski seems to be sleeping with everyone including his fiancé Jillian Harris and two ex-girlfriends – Bethany Steffen and Lindsey Johnson. Despite all the cheating accusations surrounding Ed and Jillian, the Bachelor producers are already casting for the next season of the Bachelor.

There have been rumors that Jake Pavelka, Reid Rosenthal or Kiptyn Locke will likely be the next Bachelor. These three are all fan favorites from this season of The Bachelorette. The Bachelor Producer, Mike Fleiss, has now confirmed one of the three will be the next Bachelor to Entertainment Tonight. “When the new season of The Bachelor premieres, look for Reid, Kiptyn or Jake to be handing out the red roses,” says Fleiss.

While the producers have yet to announce when the next Bachelor will be revealed, we can definitely continue to count on both Ed and Jillian to keep us occupied with the cheating/break up allegations.

According to our polls, you all want Reid to be the next Bachelor. I guess we will wait and see.

It had been heavily rumored that Kiptyn Locke would be the next Bachelor, but ABC is saying not so quick, as they have still yet to name the new Bachelor.

It however seems all but certain that the next Bachelor will be picked from this season of The Bachelorette. The 3 front runners are Reid Rosenthal, Kiptyn Locke, and Jake Pavelka.

Personally, none of these guys stand out that much to me, but I think I would rather see one of them be the new Bachelor than someone new. So we ask you this question. Who do you want to see as the next Bachelor? Feel free to comment and vote in the poll below.

The Bachelorette’s “Men Tell All” episode was full of some exciting and explosive drama as expected. The 2 hours was however not enough to show everything that really went down during the July 11th taping. People magazine was able to get some great details on what didn’t make it to TV.

Here are excerpts from what you didn’t see -

• After the show, Jake says he doesn’t regret his actions on the show even though he was accused of “acting” while in the house. During the show, several of the guys criticized Jake but only a portion of it was aired. “I got my butt handed to me out there but I still don’t regret anything I did on the show,” he told PEOPLE after the show. Jake insists he was only acting natural and being himself.

• Several of the guys including the host reprimanded David for his inappropriate comments to Jillian. “The good in David Good far outweighs what you saw on the show,” he said. “That clip was by far the worst of him. I’m sorry he got such a bad rap because he is a good guy.” While his apology to Jillian seemed sincere, David probably won’t be changing his ways. “I hate living in a place where you can’t compliment your girl’s ass,” he said after the show. “To me it is no different than Tanner P talking about and rubbing her feet.”

• For some reason, Brian decided to act ignorantly by interrupting others repeatedly and making insulting comments about others. At a point, he even made a comment about host, Chris Harrison’s wife. “I came very close to saying something but I thought, ‘It’s not worth it. He’s drunk and stupid.’ I let it go,” Harrison said. “In the end, they cut him out almost entirely so he got what he deserved.”

In her latest blog, Jillian Harris talks about her thoughts on last night’s “Men Tell All.” She doesn’t really touch on the whole Wes topic, but does talk about her favorite moments of the season as well as seeing all of her “ex-boyfriends” again as she puts it.

Below are some excerpts from her latest Bachelorette blog -

“If I have eliminated someone who you loved, I am sorry … I wish I could have kept every wonderful guy from the show but I am only looking for ONE man to make ME happy. I DO have an excellent judge of character and I do know what I am looking for in a unique individual to go through life with me.

Also, I want to clear up a little confusion about the perception of my “engagement standards” coming into this journey. I was not desperate for an engagement. I actually was very nervous about it and would be happy with no engagement if that were the right choice. All I wanted and would have been happy with was someone to love who loved me back. Someone who had some sort of conviction of how they felt, or was willing to make a sacrifice of any kind, as I had stated several times that I was eager to do the same. Not only is this conviction from the guy an indication for me to move forward with the relationship, but it is also an indication of what our life would be like post-show.

The Men Tell All was actually a blast! Well … it didn’t start out so fun … I got to the set and was waiting and waiting and waiting to come out onstage. Now that I’ve seen the show I understand why! The guys clearly had a lot to get off their chests.

The Bachelorette “Men Tell All” episode is set to air tonight, but one man who will not be appearing on the show is Wes Hayden. Arguably the most hated Bachelor since Jason Mesnick, one can’t help but wonder why Wes will not be speaking his peace tonight.

You would think the men are contractually obligated to appear on the show, but evidently Wes seems to be a special case. According to Austin360.com, an entertainment site based in Wes’ hometown, “(Wes) angrily declined to appear on the ‘Men Tell All’ episode. A week later, however, he changed his mind but was told the show didn’t want him there.”

The reason being? The producers of The Bachelorette are not happy with Wes giving out unauthorized interviews. Wes has been pretty much bad mouthing the show in an attempt to defend himself. He blames bad editing for the way came off on the show. When asked about his non appearance, Wes said -

“They cancelled mine. They didn’t want me talking to anybody. I’ve been available. I’ve worked too hard in my life to let somebody destroy me for their TV ratings. I might be from Texas and I might talk slow, but I’m not stupid. If I had a hidden agenda to go on that show, my lips would have been sealed, never would I have once said I was there for my CD, my career and I have a girlfriend. I know how to market myself, and it would not have been to go on TV and have everyone hate me. (An ABC spokeswoman, Cathy Rehl, said that the week Hayden was booted on air, he wasn’t available for a media conference call. Also, ‘we don’t do conference calls with all the men,’ she said.)”
