Bachelorette Jillian Harris Blogs About The ‘Men Tell All’

In her latest blog, Jillian Harris talks about her thoughts on last night’s “Men Tell All.” She doesn’t really touch on the whole Wes topic, but does talk about her favorite moments of the season as well as seeing all of her “ex-boyfriends” again as she puts it.

Below are some excerpts from her latest Bachelorette blog -

“If I have eliminated someone who you loved, I am sorry … I wish I could have kept every wonderful guy from the show but I am only looking for ONE man to make ME happy. I DO have an excellent judge of character and I do know what I am looking for in a unique individual to go through life with me.

Also, I want to clear up a little confusion about the perception of my “engagement standards” coming into this journey. I was not desperate for an engagement. I actually was very nervous about it and would be happy with no engagement if that were the right choice. All I wanted and would have been happy with was someone to love who loved me back. Someone who had some sort of conviction of how they felt, or was willing to make a sacrifice of any kind, as I had stated several times that I was eager to do the same. Not only is this conviction from the guy an indication for me to move forward with the relationship, but it is also an indication of what our life would be like post-show.

The Men Tell All was actually a blast! Well … it didn’t start out so fun … I got to the set and was waiting and waiting and waiting to come out onstage. Now that I’ve seen the show I understand why! The guys clearly had a lot to get off their chests.

The Bachelorette: Why Wes Hayden Won’t Appear On ‘Men Tell All’

The Bachelorette “Men Tell All” episode is set to air tonight, but one man who will not be appearing on the show is Wes Hayden. Arguably the most hated Bachelor since Jason Mesnick, one can’t help but wonder why Wes will not be speaking his peace tonight.

You would think the men are contractually obligated to appear on the show, but evidently Wes seems to be a special case. According to Austin360.com, an entertainment site based in Wes’ hometown, “(Wes) angrily declined to appear on the ‘Men Tell All’ episode. A week later, however, he changed his mind but was told the show didn’t want him there.”

The reason being? The producers of The Bachelorette are not happy with Wes giving out unauthorized interviews. Wes has been pretty much bad mouthing the show in an attempt to defend himself. He blames bad editing for the way came off on the show. When asked about his non appearance, Wes said -

“They cancelled mine. They didn’t want me talking to anybody. I’ve been available. I’ve worked too hard in my life to let somebody destroy me for their TV ratings. I might be from Texas and I might talk slow, but I’m not stupid. If I had a hidden agenda to go on that show, my lips would have been sealed, never would I have once said I was there for my CD, my career and I have a girlfriend. I know how to market myself, and it would not have been to go on TV and have everyone hate me. (An ABC spokeswoman, Cathy Rehl, said that the week Hayden was booted on air, he wasn’t available for a media conference call. Also, ‘we don’t do conference calls with all the men,’ she said.)”

Wes Hayden Speaks Out On “Girlfriend” & The Bachelorette

Wes Hayden from The Bachelorette is in overtime, trying to clear up his “good” name. Wes spoke out to a Texas radio station this week and claims he is not the jerk the show made him out to be. Wes claims to be a victim of deceptive, and false editing.

On whether or not he had a girlfriend - “I had a girlfriend last summer. She’s still a very good friend of mine. Every now and then we’ll go out and do lunch or something like that. I mean, I did some work for her mom, I’m good friends with her family,” Wes Hayden said.

“I just called [The Bachelorette producers] two weeks ago, and was like, ‘Look. I don’t care what y’all do to me. You can say I’m the worst guy in the world and I’m here for publicity, that I’ve got a girlfriend. But don’t mention anybody’s name. As soon as you mention her name, people in Austin are going to know her, because we dated for a long time. Sure enough, they mentioned her name the very next day.”

On his limo comments in his exit interview - You know the one where he says, “I’m the only guy in The Bachelorette history who’s made it to the top four with a girlfriend.” Wes claims they were taken out of context. “They don’t play what I say after that. I said, ‘Only guy in Bachelorette history to make it to the top four with a girlfriend. Get real, dude. If I had a girlfriend, I’d be home with her right now, and I wouldn’t be putting up with this $h!t.”

Wes words of wisdom to those wanting to be on Reality TV - “I think everybody needs to remember that this is a TV show, and it’s here for ratings. If anybody wants to go on any kind of reality show they really need to consider what could happen to them, and think about it long and hard.” He continued, “If you do go on, don’t say a whole lot, because they can pretty much do whatever they want. Basically when you sign up for a show like this you pretty much relinquish every right that you have.”

Not sure if I’m buying Wes’s excuses. Yes I believe the producers of the show can and do manipulate the things these contestants say, but Wes gave them a lot to work with. I doubt Tanner P and Jake made up the GF story out of the blue. He has no choice but to try to clean things up now for the sake of his “career.”

Bachelorette Jillian Harris Admits She Kept Wes ‘Way Too Long’

The Bachelorette’s Jillian Harris finally did what everyone had been wanting for the past couple of weeks – Sent Wes Home! Jillian speaks out on the whole Wes issue in her new blog about the show. She admits she kept Wes for “way too long.” For some strange reason, she still doubts Wes actually had a girlfriend – sighs.

“So … Wes! I know I kept him for WAY too long. I FULLY admit this. Someone on here wrote the truest way to explain it — it’s like you’re watching a horror movie that you starred in … And all your friends are yelling at you, “He’s behind you! He’s behind you!” Ha. There are so many ways to explain my connection with Wes. I cringe to admit this, but I truly was blinded by many of Wes’s “good qualities” for the better half of his stay that I refused to see all the red flags (and there were a lot of them!).

I still don’t know if Wes had a girlfriend, but I do think Wes was there for his career. Along the way, we did build a friendship but his presence on the show was a disservice to both of us. It made me look like a fool and like I had bad judge of character, and it made him look like someone he is not. I guess this is what you lay out on the line when you sign up for something like this, right? Ultimately, you are all still entitled to your opinion, but I am a huge supporter of forgiveness and I hope you can give Wes a break and lay this one to rest.”

It’s good to see her admit her bad choice. I am however surprised she still doubts he had a girlfriend. Wes’s “girlfriend” Laurel Kagay spoke out last week defending Wes and claiming they were just friends.

Jake also spoke out on the issue and even said Wes and Laurel are still dating. I still choose to believe Jake on this one. Someone needs to tell Wes that he can pretty much kiss his country music career goodbye. No one is going so support a jerk. He has officially taken the crown of the biggest jerk title from Jason Mesnick.

The Bachelorette’s Jake: Wes Is Still Dating Girlfriend Laurel

The Bachelorette’s Jake Pavelka is swinging back at Wes and his “girlfriend” Laurel. We posted a story yesterday with Laurel coming to Wes’s defense, claiming she was not dating Wes during the show, and is currently not dating him. I said yesterday that I wasn’t buying her story, and well Jake seems to agree.

Jake spoke to People today, and says he stands by his story of Wes dating Laurel during filming. Not only that, Jake goes on to say Wes and Laurel are still together! Jake claims they are both in cahoots with duping Jillian Harris. Some excerpts from this interview are below -

Why did you come back?
A producer called me to see if I was doing okay because I took leaving hard and I broke down. [I said,] “I need to tell her some things. Any way I could talk to her again?” I ran through it and they made it happen. I was lying in bed every morning going, “I screwed up. I should have told her before I left.” I wanted to come back because I had information she needed to make the best decisions about the remaining guys and to be there for her. Now I sleep easy at night.

PEOPLE spoke to Laurel and she denied being together during taping. Do you stand by what you claimed, that Wes said he had a girlfriend?
I don’t believe it. I know it. Without a shadow of a doubt, he and Laurel were together. They’re still together. It’s an act and Laurel was in cahoots with him. They had an agreement to put their relationship on the back-burner so he could go on and sell CDs. His biggest fear was making it far enough to go on overnight dates because that wasn’t okay with Laurel. Evidently she cleared [him] to kiss. I’m a God-fearing man and if I am mistaken or he didn’t tell me that, God can strike me down with lightning right now.

Are you there?
Yeah. Still here! We had multiple conversations. He confided with me. He told me he loved [Laurel]. He said, “I’m going to break her heart. I’m going to bow out when the time is right.” This stuff came out of his mouth.

The Bachelorette: Wes’s Mystery “Girlfriend” Laurel Speaks Out!

It now seems the whole Wes girlfriend mystery has finally been solved or has it? Coming out in Wes’s defense today is the alleged girlfriend mentioned on this week’s episode of The Bachelorette.

Laurel Kagay spoke out to People claiming Jillian Harris has nothing to worry about when it comes to Wes two timing her. Laurel claims to have been in shock when she heared her name mentioned during the last episode. “I was like, ‘What?’” Laurel, 29, states. “There was this pause before he said my name — and then he said it quite a few times.”

Laurel, owner of Peach Body Boutique in Austin, Tex., however insists she and Wes are just friends: “I’m absolutely not with Wes, nor would I be if he were going on a show to be with another girl,” she says. “That’s absolutely crazy.”

So why did both Jake and Tanner mention Wes having a girlfriend? “And I think Wes did say something about his ex-girlfriend. Maybe he said he still cares about me or whatever. Maybe he talked a little too much about me, and Jake just blew that into something else.” However, Laurel admits, “We are really good friends and we do go out to lunch together, so I could see how people could think we’re together.” Not sure I’m buying this.

Oh but there’s more to Laurel. She has had her fair share of Bachelors as she is also linked to another famous name in The Bachelor franchise – Brad Womack, you know the bachelor who chose no one on his season finale. According to Laurel, they dated for four years.

She has also dated Collin Evans, who was briefly a contender on The Bachelorette season starring Jen Schefft.

I’m not buying this whole we were just friends thing. Wes seems like the slimey type and I think Jillian should have sent him packing. I believe Jake on this one and do believe Wes came on the show only for the fame because he actually admitted to that on a past episode. So I do not doubt for one second that he was dating this Laurel person while pretending to be there for Jillian. This seems to be his lame attempt to save his so called career as a country singer.
