Dustin Sullivan, the judge whisperer, managed to get Jenelle's most serious charges – simple assault; possession of heroin with intent to manufacture, sell, distribute; possession of Percocet – dropped. The Teen Mom 2 star pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and was sentenced to 18 months of unsupervised probation.
Jenelle was free to go about her normal day, which usually consists of video gaming, napping, soaking in the tub, and cyber bullying former besties, random fans, former boyfriends, and husband Courtland Rogers. However, she failed a drug test issued by the court, so to the slammer she went for 48 hours.
Jenelle was released from jail Wednesday morning. What. A. Spectacle.
Naturally, Courtland tweeted his way through his visit, "Life might not always be fair but at least I'm alive to witness what really matters. This sobriety s–t is amazing!"
In the end, Jenelle pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and was sentenced to 18 months of unsupervised probation. Charges surrounding a schedule II controlled substance (Percocet) and assault against Courtland were dropped.
Not a bad day in court for Jenelle, err, until the judge requested a drug test. Dustin Sullivan has reported that she tested positive for marijuana, sharing, "The judge gave her 48 hours in jail for testing positive."
No more Teen Mom 2 notoriety for you Courtland Rogers! Upon returning to the real world you'll have to also return to being a nobody on twitter. But being a twitter superstar was so awesome… too bad it doesn't pay!
So back to the news, Courtland is getting out of jail today according to his sister and his new girlfriend. He struck a plea deal for time served because he agreed to just plead guilty to the charges.
Upon his release Courtland looks forward to a sober life WITHOUT axis of crazy Jenelle Evans! Unfortunately the two were forced to come face-to-face in court yesterday morning! OK, so I'm not sure if they actually came into contact with each other but they were both there!
Courtland's day in court is finally on the horizon, and according to an inside source, his entire defense relies on blaming the heroin on Jenelle. Nearly three months in the slammer and that's the best he could do?
Jenelle was charged with simple assault, possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of a prescription painkiller, and possession of heroin with intent to manufacture, sell, and distribute, specifically, and she was scheduled to appear in court today to face the drug related charges.
Did you catch that? Jenelle WAS scheduled to appear today. WAS.
I'm starting to realize that the girls of Teen Mom don't have to follow the rules like us regular folks. I don't know how I'm JUST NOW coming to this realization, because clearly, I'm behind the curve. Let's take Jenelle Evans, for instance.
The reality star has been in-and-out of jail just as many times as she's been in off-and-on relationships with jackholes…and if you know anything about Jenelle's love life (or happen to follow her on Twitter–same thing!), you know that that is a heck of a lot!
Surely Jenelle Evans deserves to have a courtroom (or at least a bathroom!) named in her honor at the Brunswick County Courthouse, right? The Teen Mom 2 star certainly spends enough time there. Her attorney Dustin Sullivan needs some kind of award!
Jenelle was back in court again Tuesday to face the heroin possession charges and assault claims (among others, of course!) that she and hubby Courtland Rogers were arrested for on April 23. This girl is never going to learn, and it's tragic.
Sex tapes… drug busts… what would MTV's resident therapist say?
Well, when that "therapist" is Dr. Drew Pinsky, not a whole lot. Dr. Drew's reaction to the deplorable choices made by Farrah Abraham and Jenelle Evans as of late comes across as less "Woah! Let's get these girls some help!" and more "Woe is me! Nobody listens to me!"
“If she would have called me for advice, I would have told her not to do this," Dr. Drew said about Farrah's sex tape. “But she is not my patient, she is not my kid."
