They’re baa–ack! Last night marked the return of MTV’s second season of the second cycle of Teen Mom. The stories begin where they left off last season, and not much has changed with the young mothers.
Right off the bat, Jenelle Evans and her mother Barbara are like oil and water. Jenelle is trying to keep the fact that she bailed her boyfriend Kieffer out of jail a secret. She tells her mom she really wants to turn her life around and she has no plans to bail her ex out of the clink. Per the usual, she is met with her mother’s doubt and negativity, but Jenelle is allowed to take her son Jace to the park alone… where she meets up with her convict boyfriend. I don’t know whether I’m more upset that Barbara has never had any faith in her daughter or Jenelle for never giving her a reason to have it in the first place.

The new season of Teen Mom 2 premieres next month and MTV is working overtime to make sure everyone wants to watch by releasing an extended trailer of what’s to come. This season will continue the lives of Kailyn Lowry, Leah Messer, Chelsea Houska and Jenelle Evansas they struggle to balance life, relationships and parenting toddlers!
Leah and Corey Simms experience difficulties in their marriage, particularly in the wake of daughter Ali’s medical issues. Ali will undergo an MRI to diagnose her developmental delays, while Aleeha takes her first steps. Corey will also discover that Leah cheated on him and after six-months of marriage when Leah files for divorce. The series will also show Leah dating again and moving on with her life.
Chelsea struggles to deal with her ex-boyfriend Adam Lind who refuses to step up to the plate for their daughter Aubree. Chelsea also reveals that Adam “angrily” took their daughter, leaving Chelsea to wonder “How could I like him so much and he likes me not at all?” Chelsea will also obtain her GED, meaning a better future for her family.
Kailyn’s bad luck streak seems to continue despite her hard work to create a better life for her son. This season she gets into a car accident and though Isaac and her were unharmed, Kailyn only has liability insurance making it difficult to pay for the repairs and get to work. Kailyn will also have relationship drama as Jordan is jealous that she is spending time with her ex, Jo Rivera! It appears the jealousy may be warranted because as Kailyn confesses to Jordan: “Things went a little further than they should have.”
Jenelle, will also, of course, have drama this season as she struggles to stop partying and focus on raising her son. Jenelle continues to fight with her mother BarbaraEvans, over her dramatic and unhealthy relationship with Kieffer Delp (who is back in jail again!) as well as the care of her son, Jace. Janelle also faces jail time for assault and ultimately checks into rehab to help get her life back on track.
Teen Mom 2 premieres Dec 6th on MTV (10/9c). The new season trailer is below -
So what can we expect on the new season? MTV promises the dramatic season will follow the girls as they try to navigate their way through life with toddlers in tow. The new season will “take viewers on an intense rollercoaster of highs and lows. As their babies take their first steps, these young moms struggle to balance life, love, and independence while striving to give their children the best life possible.”
Below is what to expect from each cast member –
Leah - Mother to twin girls Alianna and Aleeah, and her daughters’ father, Corey Simms have weathered many ups and downs as a couple, from trust issues to doctor visits for understanding daughter Ali’s slow development. However just before the twins’ first birthday, Leah and Corey made the ultimate commitment by becoming husband and wife. But soon after the honeymoon they realize that marriage isn’t as easy as they’d hoped it would be.
Jenelle - She continues to reconcile the responsibilities of motherhood with her love of partying. With the birthfather of her son Jace out of the picture, Jenelle relies heavily on her mother Barbara Evans. The two’s explosive relationship is amplified by the fact that Barbara has temporary custody of Jace. Through it all, Jenelle struggles to prove herself as a mom and responsible adult, but her party girl ways — and her trouble-maker boyfriend, Kieffer — keep leading her down the wrong path. When Jenelle and Keiffer get arrested, she must choose between changing her ways or continuing on a downward spiral that could quickly hit rock bottom.
Chelsea - Chelsea’s life has been consumed with taking care of her daughter Aubree and trying, in vain, to make her tumultuous relationship with Aubree’s father, Adam Lind, succeed. She still hasn’t graduated from high school, but Chelsea luckily has a strong network of support from friends and family to help her on the road to independence. As her emotional tug-of-war with Adam escalates, she finally gets the strength to call it quits, trying to move forward and focus on what’s best for her and her daughter. Her friends and family just hope she can stay away from Adam for good this time.
Kailyn - Is the mom of baby Isaac. Kailyn and Isaac’s father Jo Rivera’s relationship crumbled under the stress of balancing their lives and raising their child, and Kailyn moved out amidst their constant fighting. A romance with coworker Jordan begins to get more serious as she turns to him for emotional support during a bitter custody battle with Jo. Through it all, Kailyn keeps two jobs and goes to school full time, determined to better her situation for her son while navigating her complicated relationship with Jo and struggling to finally move out on her own.
The new season premieres on MTV December 6 (10/9c).
TMZ reports Jenelle, 20, alongside Jace and another female passenger were rushed to the hospital on Thursday after she crashed her SUV into a light pole.
The Wilmington, NC Police department told TMZ all three passengers were transported to a nearby hospital for minor injuries. Jenelle was driving the car while son Jace was in his car seat in the back.
The good news is all parties are doing well today, as evident by Jenelle’s tweets below, and cops tell TMZ there was no indication that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. The police are however still investigating.
Jenelle also took to her twitter, of course, to tell her side of the crash. Jenelle, who has had issues with drugs in the past, wanted to make it clear neither alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. “LOOK TMZ.. Crashed into a pole in a parking lot going 10mph no drugs involved I’m clean. Jace is fine I’m injured in the hospital alone,” tweeted Jenelle.
She later added: “My mom took jace home and wouldn’t wait for me.” Jenelle’s mom BarbaraEvans currently has custody of Jace, and just last month, the two got into an altercation during which cops were called.
If you just can’t handle any more annoying trashy drama concerning Jenelle Evans don’t read on!
Apparently the anger management-challenged Teen Mom was involved in another physical altercation. This time with her mom, BarbaraEvans. The two have always had a tense relationship to say the least, but the latest incident warranted police intervention.
On September 6th Barbara called the police over Jenelle’s aggressive behavior. According to police dispatch, Barbara told officers that Jenelle “started cursing at her, calling her names, and was destroying the residence.”
Barbara reported that Jenelle “went into Barbara’s room and knocked her things off her dresser to the ground,” following an argument.
Well, Jenelle has a different version of the events! Jenelle blamed her mother for starting the fight and making her angry! Right, Jenelle – you were completely innocent (eye roll). Jenelle maintains “she was washing her clothes when her mother came into the laundry room and was arguing with her,” and then “knocked over a shelf spilling bleach in the washing machine with her clothes.” No clothes were ruined in the incident in case, you were wondering.
Jenelle also claims that she went into her mom’s room to get some items off the floor and she accidentally knocked her things on the floor when she accidentally bumped into the dresser.
The fight continued in the kitchen where Jenelle was “working on her laptop” (working on what, I wonder… ) and her mother came into the kitchen to give Jenelle’s son, Jace some medicine. Jenelle alleges her mother “threw the medicine on her, her laptop and then threw the bottle at her.” Luckily Jenelle was able to salvage her laptop by cleaning up the medicine before any damage occurred.
Possibly poking holes in Jenelle’s story, the officer reports he did not see any medicine on her or the computer.
While Barbara told police she did not want to press charges against her daughter, Jenelle wasn’t feeling so charitable and “swore she would file a simple assault charge against Barbara.” In the end – after wasting law enforcement’s time – Jenelle decided she wouldn’t file charges after all and no arrests were made. Yeah, if Barbara had been arrested who would take care of Jace?

Whose version of events do you believe, Barbara’s or Jenelle’s? Is Jenelle totally out of control and in need of serious help justified in being so upset with her mom?
According to a new report, Teen Mom star Amber Portwood continues to be at risk for a relapse after two months in a California rehab facility where she received treatment for depression following a suicide attempt.
Sources close to Amber, 21, reveal since returning home to Indiana, the fragile single mother has run straight back into trouble aka the arms of her baby daddy Gary Shirley.
“I told her to take it slow with Gary and not jump into anything,” Amber’s brother, Shawn Portwood, tells In Touch Weekly. “But they’re back together.”
In Touch adds that while Amber was in recovery, Gary went wild. Often leaving their 2-year-old daughter Leah in the care of his mother, while he partied every night “He was always drinking and hooking up with other girls,” a pal reveals. “He says he loves Amber, but he really doesn’t act like it!”
Shawn however adds that despite getting back with Gary, Amber is trying to improve her life. “She has enrolled back in school and is taking control. She’s at peace,” Shawn says.
In other news, Amber’s fellow troubled teen mom Jenelle Evans received some good news days ago.
While she was found guilty of a misdemeanor charge for simple affray (fighting in public), the 19-year-old managed to escape jail as she was instead given a suspended sentence of 30 days, meaning she stays out of jail unless she violates probation within the next 12 months.
In addition to that, she’ll also have to pay a small fine of $100, attend anger management classes and do 24 hours of community service.
Following her court appearance on Friday, Jenelle kept it ever so classy by tweeting, “F— yes. !!!!! I WINNNNNNN ;).” This entire court case stemmed from a videotaped fight that occurred back in March during which Jenelle beat the crap out of her former friend Britany Truett.
A new episode of Teen Mom airs tonight on MTV at 10/9c.

TELL US – DO YOU THINK THESE TWO TROUBLE TEEN MOMS WILL EVER BE ABLE TO CHANGE?
The latest is that the 19-year-old Teen Mom 2 star was arrested again yesterday in North Carolina after violating her probation.
Jenelle’s lawyer tells TMZ she had a meeting with her parole officer yesterday and tested positive for marijuana and opiates, which led to her arrest.
She was placed on $10,000 bond though she has now been released. Jenelle was originally sentenced back in April to 12 months probation after pleading guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. She’s due back in court on August 24.
Just weeks ago, TMZ posted photos of Jenelle smoking what appeared to be a pot-filled blunt. Her latest mug shot is below.

TELL US – THOUGHTS? IS THE MTV SHOW TO BLAME FOR JENELLE’S PROBLEMS?
MTV’s Lindsay Lohan equivalent Jenelle Evans is in legal hot water again.
The latest with the Teen Mom 2 star is that she recently tested positive for drug use hence she has violated her probation. She is on probation due to a drug-related conviction in April.
E! Online is reporting the 19-year-old tested positive for THC, a substance found in marijuana, on July 13. Jenelle then admitted to using the drug.
This news came as a surprise to her attorney Dustin Sullivan. “I just caught wind of this yesterday,” he said to E! News. “They sent me this violation info about an hour ago. I did not know about it prior to. Have not spoke[n] to Jenelle yet.”
The problems don’t end there for Jenelle as her probation reports also claim she failed to follow up with the recommended aftercare once released from inpatient treatment for substance abuse, and is apparently behind on court and probation supervision fees.
But the story gets even worse as TMZ posted some photos (the pics are below) of Jenelle this morning smoking what looks to be a pot-filled blunt. The photos were taken on July 17, four days after Jenelle tested positive for drug use. Wowzers.
Jenelle’s probation violation hearing has been set for Aug. 24.
