Jeff Lewis is in over his head with his house, his clients, and his march toward fatherhood (which is approaching quickly). Meanwhile, Jenni Pulos is busy trying to make a buck by sitting on toilets. That, my friends, is the nutshell version of this week’s Flipping Out. But it takes a while to get there…so, let’s get started!
At Valley Vista, Jeff and Gage Edwards are led through the money pit they’ve regretfully purchased. Frank the contractor briefs them on structural, electrical, and – worst of all – water issues as the cha-ching, cha-ching sound rings endlessly in Jeff’s brain. This place is more than he bargained for and could possibly be, in his own words, the worst house he’s ever bought. Gage agrees.
Andy points out that he saw Gage’s assistant Matt in an episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians. Is he now Kris Jenner‘s assistant? Jenni confirms, “You heard it here first. Matt no longer works for Jeff Lewis. Stay tuned, see how it unfolds in season 9.” Andy says “another one bites the dust. How many freaking people has Jeff fired?” Jenni says, “it’s a bit of a revolving door but there are some people that stick around.”
Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to social media to share even more of their lives with us. And we would not have it any other way. Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite snapshots and selfies from this week. Enjoy.
With the good baby news behind them, the crew of Flipping Out needs to get back to work. That chrome and marble nursery ain’t gonna build itself! But Jeff Lewis faces a crossroads this week when he runs into trouble with a long time contractor. And Jenni Pulos is facing a crossroads of her own, but on a more personal matter. Oh, and Chaz Dean pokes his greasy head out of his hole again to get a little more camera time micromanage Jeff and Gage Edward.
Jeff and company are still living and working from Valley Vista, the never ending construction zone. Head contractor Frank explains some details of the demo, which Jeff appreciates. Frank has been Jeff’s MVP for the past 16 years. Gage thinks Frank is slow, but Jeff appreciates his ingenuity and creativity. A smart contractor who comes through is nothing to sneeze at. But lately, Frank’s wife Angelica has been running his business. This situation is no bueno for Jeff. He’d rather deal with Frank, and Frank alone.
This week, Jeff Lewis and Gage Edward got the news that will change their lives forever. A baby is on the way!!! Of course, we’ve known that Jeff and Gage have been expecting a baby girl via surrogacy for quite some time now, but there’s nothing like seeing the news delivered on camera while the fathers to be take it all in. So, what does this mean for the Flipping Out crew?
Well, for one, Zoila Chavez will be put on grandma notice. Right after she takes care of that sexting situation on her phone. Someone’s sexted her an innocent question: “Are you available to eat my p**sy out tonight?” Hmm. Mannerly and creepy! Zoila reads the sext aloud, causing everyone in the vicinity to pop a forehead vein in hysterical laughter, and me to practically shoot seltzer out of my nose. Who is this random sexter?
Last night Bravo aired their version of a reality TV awards show, The Bravos. Viewers have been able to vote for the past few weeks in categories like “Jumpsuit Achievement” and “The Queen of Shade.” The winners were announced last night, with Bravolebrities showing up at The Clubhouse in NYC and with Jenni Pulos at another venue over on the West Coast to collect their awards and to help give them away. Gia Giudice served as the Awards Girl on the East Coaster.
We have your full list of winners below, as well as a gallery of the best photos from the night.
Only 24 hours after the preview of Season 9’s Flipping Out, and here we are on episode two! Is it Christmas in July? No, but it’s a filthy mess at Jeff Lewis‘ new construction zone house, Valley Vista. The sweet sound of circular saws and sledgehammers lulls Jeff to sleep each night, but also drives him to the brink of his OCD.
Gage Edward and crew seem like they are speaking more quietly than ever, almost literally tip-toeing around Jeff as he loses his mind over piles of wood, missing nails, and contractors’ cell phones lying around.
