On last night’s episode of Basketball Wives, the drama betweenEvelyn Lozada and Royce Reed explodes, Meeka interviews both sides to see which one she’d rather be on and tries to get into Shaunie‘s good graces, Evelyn starts the IVF process, andSuzie attempts to be the peacemaker!
The show starts out with Royce and Suzie playing tennis – Royce obviously forgetting that tennis doesn’t involve a pool or a beach shows up practically wearing a bikini. She and Suzie talk about all the drama with Meeka, Evelyn, and Jen; Suzie – trying not to be involved suggests they all have a sit down so Royce can play 20 Questions and ask everyone who said: what? when? where? why? about her.

Following last week’s dramatic premiere, the latest episode of Basketball Wiveswas more on the mellow end, or more accurately the calm before the storm. This week, we discover Suzie has no back bone, Meeka is might be two-faced, Tami is NOT a fan of the hand or Meeka, Jennifer wants to get her groove back, Evelyn’s solution to every problem is to get laid (preferably to a younger bloke), and also Shaunie has no storyline this season!
The episode begins with Jennifer and Tami catching up at Jen’s place, as Jennifer takes a break from being Evelyn’s shadow. Though I’m a tad surprised to see her breaking bread with Evelyn’s enemy. Tami brings up the t-shirt and lawsuit drama, while Jen tries to stay neutral on the issue.
Circle outcasts Royce and Suzie meet up to gossip grab a bite. The topic of convo is Jen’s ex Eric and Royce reveals she still keeps in touch with him via the twitter and it shouldn’t be a problem for Jen. The topic then turns to Evelyn and Royce wastes no time in trashing her. “I can change my hair. I can change my clothes. But she can’t change the fact that she’s a ho.” Ouch! When it comes to Jennifer, Royce and Suzie agree that she is “cool” when she’s not stuck up Evelyn’s butt. Err the jury is still out on that one.

TMZ is reporting today that after threatening to quit the show, Evelyn is officially signed on to return. What did it take to get her back on the show? A major increase in her salary by VH1 plus an apology from the show producers.
Evelyn had asked for $20,000 per episode but while she didn’t get that exact amount, her new salary will more than double the $7,500 per episode she was earning before.
TMZ adds that Evelyn also got an apology from producers of the show for the way she was portrayed on the season 2 finale. Though we’re not sure why the producers had to apologize when it was Evelyn herself who admitted to having slept with her costar Tami Roman’s ex-husband while they were still married.
Meanwhile, Shaunie O’Nealtweeted last week that filming had already began on the new season. “Taping all day for BBW season 3 today with my ladies @EvelynLozada and @iamjennifer. Hoping this season will be the best yet!,” tweeted Shaunie on March 27.
And in a recent radio interview, Eric admitted he is still in love with Jennifer and wants to stay married. “I love the woman. I’m still in love with that woman,” said Eric on the DJ Charlamagne show.
Eric added that despite the way things appeared on the show, he was genuinely fighting to save his marriage. “I didn’t want to get a divorce. I’m the one who’s tryin’ to make $h_t happen. It had been a year and a half I’d been tryin’ to. You feel me? Nobody don’t know that part,” said Eric. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out on the third season of the show!

“Laying out @ the pool doing me! Just fabulous hunni,” tweeted Nene yesterday, the same day the above photo and many others below were taken.
Nene was photographed in a teeny neon yellow bikini top, playing with an ipad and reading magazines. She later caught up with Basketball Wives star Jennifer Williams yesterday night during which they both hung out. All of the photos are below.
Meanwhile,Star Jones appeared on the Wendy Williams Show this Friday during which she touched on the Nene feud. At first, Star appeared to take the high road. “I am an educated African American woman I am not going to lower myself. Period. Bar none,” stated Star.
Following further grilling by host Wendy, Star then added, “Did I sleep with her and forget to call the next day? Because I am starting to feel that way. Have you ever had an experience where someone talks about you again and again and again?”
Moving on to the Celebrity Apprentice as a new episode airs tonight on NBC at 9/8c.
On the fourth episode this season titled “Off the Hook,” the star contestants answer the call to produce a 30-second video for a video-phone product. While one team works on a tender ad that tugs at emotions, the other team creates a video loaded with controversy. Both Nene Leakes and Lil Jon will serve as project managers for their teams.

Hosting the reunion this year will be former NBA star John Salley. The ladies will all sit together to rehash the events that occurred this season, including the fight that broke out betweenTami Roman and Evelyn Lozada last week, over Evelyn’s admission that she had slept with Tami’s ex-husband Kenny Anderson.
Since that episode aired, there have been rumors that Evelyn also slept with her BFF Jennifer Williams’s husband Eric Williams, but we can rest assure you that rumor is very false.
The reunion will be airing in two parts. The first part airs tonight at 8/7c with part two airing tomorrow night, March 14 at 8/7c. Gloria Govan will also be a part of the reunion show, appearing at some point. A sneak peek is below.
In other news, it seems Royce Reed might be returning next season after all despite the recent comments made by Shaunie O’neal. According to TMZ, Royce’s would be replacement Allison Mathis was axed by VH1 after her ex/baby daddy Chris Bosh put up a fight.
Apparently, Chris did not want Allison nor their daughter on the show, and VH1 simply decided Allison wasn’t worth the headache. Sources say this move means Royce will likely be returning though producers are still hoping for a last-minute replacement.

On the 8th episode this season, the ladies travel to Madrid, but Royce’s phantom illness and Tami’s mood swings put a damper on the festivities. Meanwhile, a man catches Jen’s eye, and the ladies overindulge on the local feed.
It airs tonight at 8/7c on VH1. A preview clip is below.
In other Basketball Wives news, NFL player and DWTS alum Chad Ochocinco is finally opening up about his engagement to Evelyn Lozada and based on his comments, it’s safe to assume these two crazy kids will not be tying the knot anytime soon.
If you recall, Evelyn announced the engagement via twitter back in November and according to Chad, it isn’t all sunshine and roses for the duo. “To be honest, we bump heads. Like, the personalities,” Chad told Entertainment Tonight.
“I can put my foot down but I’m trying to let her feel like she wears the pants. That’s what you’ve got to do sometimes. You’ve got to reverse it,” said Chad going on to add that Evelyn controls his finances. “The thing is, I can’t even spend it, man. Don’t get engaged man, don’t get engaged. She done put a stop to all the spending and all the having fun and I’m on a budget every month now and it’s frustrating because that wild side and that fun Chad is going away. I’m so businesslike because of that other half.”
So are there any wedding plans on the horizon? “I haven’t made wedding plans. Right now, I’m still in the stage of trying to make sure we’re on the same page before we [take that step], you know?” confesses Chad.
Here’s to hoping this won’t be another 10-year engagement for Eve.

A new report by Life & Style magazine today is now confirming that Jennifer Williams will indeed be filing for a divorce.
According to the magazine, things are officially over between the Basketball Wives star and her husband of 3 years, former NBA player Eric Williams. The short marriage between the couple had been plagued with numerous cheating allegations and a possible love child.
“I plan on filing for divorce in the next couple of weeks. It’s a new year and I just want to put this behind me,” Jennifer tells Life & Style. “He doesn’t know exactly when I’m going to do it. He’s just waiting for me to pull the trigger.”
Jennifer adds that it was never her intention to give up on the marriage despite Eric admitting to cheating with other women. “I really wanted it to work and believed he would change. This whole lifestyle is dysfunctional; it’s not a typical marriage. The bad just started to outweigh the good,” says Jennifer, also addressing the reports that came out last summer that Eric had a love child. “I wasn’t distraught about it, but I really felt bad for the child.”
So what are Jennifer’s plans following the divorce? “I just want to live comfortably and move on, get it over with,” she said. “I definitely will not put up with this type of behavior ever again!” Photos of Jen and Eric in happier times below.
