Another day, another raise for the Jersey Shore cast!
According to a new report by TMZ, the cast, which is currently filming season 4 in Florence, Italy, will get a raise for the upcoming fifth season.
If you recall, MTV announced weeks ago that the fourth season would premiere on August 4, with season 5 set to begin filming later this month. The cast was not happy with the news and refused to film the new season as MTV wanted to use their season 4 contracts rate/terms.
It however seems the MTV network has caved in as new contracts have been drawn up. The cast reportedly got a “significant” increase in their raise. Snooki and co. are scheduled to fly back from Italy on the 23rd of this month, with filming on the fifth season scheduled to begin in New Jersey on the 26th.
It was reported back in April that most of the cast members were receiving $100,000 per episode aka well over $1 million for season 4!
Meanwhile, the cast was photographed above posing for what will likely be their official season 4 cast photo on Wednesday. In the picture taken in a Florence back street, cast member Vinny Guadagnino, one of the authentic Italians on the cast, can be seen holding up an Italian flag.
