The For the Love of RayJ 2 Reunion show was the first reunion show VH1 had done since last May and boy o boy did it not disappoint. Two days later, it is still being widely talked about.

The reunion show was a big hit mainly because it brought the drama. The last 10 minutes of the show featured season 1 winner, Cocktail aka Joanna Hernandez, coming on the show to warn season two winner- Mz Berry aka Connie Deveaux , about the womanizing ways of Ray J.

Things got particularly heated when Ray J joined both ladies on stage , and got into a shouting match with Cocktail, even accusing her of bedding other women after she accused him of being unfaithful during their brief relationship. Interestingly enough, Cocktail never denied Ray’s claims that she slept with other women as well. Things got even more heated and RayJ ended up walking off the stage. Mz Berry followed him, and so did Cocktail, as the two continued their argument backstage.

The reunion show then ended abruptly and we the viewers never even got to know the status of Ray and Mz Berry’s relationship. Mz Berry gave an interview to Talkofthetown411.com Monday night, hours after seeing the reunion show and she shed some light on what really happened between she and Ray before, during and after the dramatic reunion.

In the new interview, Mz Berry claimed she did see Ray J once within the last five months but it was not aired on the reunion show for some reason. She said she was hurt by the reunion show and didn’t understand why Cocktail felt the need to “warn” her. She also said she was a little hurt by Ray J’s actions towards Jaguar, but she already knew his feelings regarding his regret for sending her home early.

As for their current relationship status, she says she and Ray continue to talk but stops clear of saying the two are in a relationship. It’s pretty obvious from listening to Mz Berry that she and Ray are at the most, just friends. According to Mz Berry, Ray was aware that Cocktail would be on the reunion, but did not know the extent of what she would say. However Mz Berry says she was fully unaware that Cocktail would be on the show.

To sum this up, Mz Berry and Ray J are still on friendly terms but are not in a relationship, which is not surprising considering our previous report which revealed Ray J had a 20 year old girlfriend he was serious with the entire time he was filming the show last year.

TELL US – ARE YOU OVER THESE DATING SHOWS? OR WILL YOU CONTINUE TO WATCH EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE PHONY?

With the 2nd season of For The Love of Ray J premiering last week, Cocktail is once again opening up about her break up with Ray J. In a new interview with the season 1 winner, Joanna “Cocktail” Hernandez tells In Touch that Ray J broke her heart and that he only did the show for money and exposure. She also reveals what’s going right with her career.

Excerpts from her interview below –

When did you first sense that things weren’t going to work out with Ray J?
Things didn’t feel right after the reunion. I tried to be his girlfriend, and then we went on tour and there were rumors that he was going to do season two. When I asked him about it, he said “no,” but then I found out the truth, among other things. Ray did break my heart — this whole thing has been an emotional roller coaster. I was offered a guest spot on season two, but I declined. I mean, why make me look stupid again? I’m not about to go on his show and support a season two when it’s all lies.

What are your feelings toward Ray J today?
I care about him, and when I am around him, sometimes the feelings come back again. But I’m at a place now where talking about what really happened is allowing me to move on.

Do you think he’s sincerely looking for love — or looking for fame?
Ray doesn’t have to go on a show to find love. It’s about exposure and money.

What’s your advice for the winner?
Enjoy it while it lasts — it’s a short ride.

What’s next for you?
I have a weekly one-hour show called Hangin’ With JoJo — it’s fun and laid-back. I am focused on my career — in which direction it’s going, I’m not 100-percent certain, but I am in a few upcoming movies. So I am excited about that! For details on me, go to welovecocktail.com.

Would you do more reality TV?
I would do more reality TV for sure — but not about finding love! I would love to do Dancing With the Stars or Big Brother. I can dream, can’t I?

We announced a few days ago that VH1′s top dating reality show, For The Love of Ray J would be returning for a second season. The reason given was allegedly due to the fact that the relationship between Ray J and Cocktail did not work out. Well we pretty much called this a lie, due to the fact that the relationship never had a chance.

Ray J had signed up for a 2nd season while the 1st season was still airing on VH1, thus never giving his relationship with Cocktail a chance to develop. Cocktail released a statement to Bossip pretty much echoing the same thing. It’s very obvious that she has some resentment towards Ray J in this statement.

An excerpt from the statement is below -

“Just like any other relationship we took it day by day. We would hang out, have fun, laugh, share stories, and watch TV. Over time as we got to know each other more and more he would tell me things and often times they would hurt my feelings. I guess the brutal truth about him not being exclusive with me and still ‘hooking up’ with girls made me realize that it wasn’t going to work. I hate feeling like I failed and let’s be real no woman likes to quit a relationship so I tried to stick it out. I wanted to be his only one not just his number one.

After awhile Ray eventually realized that I was truly genuine and sat me down to tell me that we were not going to work
out. Then the Season 2 bomb was dropped on me. What makes me mad is that I asked him if there was going to be a season 2 and he lied to my face. He sweet talked me both times I asked. Aside from that, the breaking point was when we went on tour. He didn’t come back to the room at night and I heard the whispers about him being in other rooms with girls. It made me mad because he knew he could be honest with me but he chose not to be. At this point, I emotionally checked out.”

Surprise, surprise! VH1 has now officially announced there will be a 2nd season of For the Love of Ray. This comes has no surprise as the first season was a big hit for VH1.

The sad part about this is that Cocktail, the winner of the first season, never stood a chance. A source close to Ray J informed us months ago that a deal had been struck for a second season. The deal for the 2nd season was struck while the first season was still airing on VH1. I highly doubt Cocktail knew about this.

While I’m happy we get a second season of this show, I do find it quite sad that the people involved with these shows, Ray J included, have no problem playing with people’s emotions.

In very weird and strange news today, the NYPost is reporting that Tila Tequila is claiming to be dating Ray J. Which is interesting because Ray J is suppose to be dating Cocktail, the winner of his reality show – For the Love of Ray J.

According to the Post, Tila posted a blog at 3:45 a.m. this morning she stating “my baby is Ray J…..and no man has made me feel so loved and so happy in such a long time.” She was apparently trying to clear up “rumors” about people saying she is dating Diddy and Tyrese (even though no one has heard any of these “rumors”)

“Tila Tequila is officially dating Ray J!” she said “I think we make the cutest couple…. don’t you?”

Ray J added fuel to this rumor by posting the following on his twitter today – “@officialTila love u more!!!! you my future wifey.” Which is even more interesting because he posted the following to Cocktail on Friday via his Twitter – “@cocktailvh1 what’s up baby.. You know I wish u were here with me.”

So are Ray J and Tila really dating, or just being attention whores? And How does Cocktail feel about this? Only time will tell.

Update: Cocktail just posted the following on her Twitter – “Tila Tequila is doin waaaayyy too much! She better fall back on that bullshit! She wish she had my man. Ray is all mine!”

What are your thoughts on this story?

Lasting longer that most reality relationships, seems like Cocktail and Ray J are still going strong as a couple. The above photo was reportedly taken last week.

It will be interesting to see how this all plays out as VH1 has greenlighted a 2nd season of For The Love of Ray J. The show got some very good ratings. Cocktail talks about her feelings towards Ray J and being in love with him in her VH1 interview below -

What has your communication with Ray been like since the show wrapped?

If we don’t talk everyday, we at least text each other. We make a point to see each other at least twice a month. That’s just what our schedules can fit. He’s on the road and doing stuff, and lately, I’ve been on the road as well, with appearances and whatnot.

What’s the status of your relationship? Is he your boyfriend?

Yeah. He’s my boyfriend, and the fact that I’m not seeing my boyfriend as much as I’d like to is different from what I’m used to. I would love to see him everyday and have him come home to me every night. But that’s not what it is, and I have to take it for what it is. I’m patiently learning his lifestyle. I expected this, but I’m sad now that I’m going through it. But it just makes the times I see him even more special.

Do you love him?

I do. I’m in love with him. I’m head over heels. When I tell my girlfriends that they’re like, “Are you kidding me?” No, this is the only man in my life right now that can say anything to me and make me fall into tears. It takes someone that I care about to go through with that emotion and show my vulnerability. I know I cried every three seconds on the show, but I care about him so much that he can say anything, the sweetest thing, the most horrible thing, and I burst into tears. I’m so overwhelmed.

What did you think when that was turned on you and your participation on the Bad Girls Club became a plot point? Did you think you’d be eliminated?

No. The girls were kind of talking about it early on. When I entered the house, they told me I looked familiar. I kind of just drew the attention away from myself. I knew then that I would have to address it to Ray at some point, but I didn’t early on because I didn’t want him to think I was there for the wrong reasons. I knew that if nobody said anything and I was the first to later on, maybe he’d get to know me a little bit and not eliminate me because I was on another reality show. I thought I could at least get to the point where he gave me the benefit of the doubt.

That was good strategy, too. Any thoughts on being portrayed as a gold-digger on Bad Girls Club and then ending up with a guy who makes considerable bank on this show?

The whole gold-digger thing was honestly something I said to better my chances of getting on a show that I thought had a different purpose. I thought that by saying I was something I wasn’t, it would give me an image. I thought it was going to make me more of an interesting character for people to watch. That’s the only reason I said things like that. If I was really like that, I would come out in things that I say or my personality. I’m a social worker. I’m not into that. If you look back on my roster of ex-boyfriends, none of them are wealthy. None are famous. Nothing. I’m a down-to-earth type of gal. I don’t date men for their status. If people judge me on saying I’m a gold-digger three years ago, so be it. But it was for entertainment purposes. I wanted to be on TV. And it wasn’t even like I was a main character. I was a replacement, and I was boring.

Tell US : WHO DO YOU WANT TO WIN RAY J’S HEART?

Chardonnay gave a new interview to VH1 and she covered a lot of things. She talks about her “homie” connection with Ray J, her answers on the lie detector test, plus shockingly denies being a stripper or ever being one which is actually a lie because we have it on good authority that she was once a stripper in Atlanta.

As if her splits and pole climbing on the show were not enough proof, she also admitted to Danger in of the bonus clips on VH1′s website that she is a “dancer.”

How was your time on the show?

It was good. It was a learning experience. I didn’t expect it to be exactly like it was with the cameras in your face every second. It was crazy, but it was fun.

What did you think about his assessment that you guys only had a “homey” connection?

He was entitled to his opinion. I respect that, and I respect his decision. We were friends, we are friends and we will forever be friends, basically. I just feel like the situation was misunderstood. I was trying to prove to him that you can have a girl that’s the best of both worlds. They can be your friend, you can go to parties and play basketball together, but you can still have a relationship. I wanted to show him those sides, and I think he might have misunderstood that. But hey, what can I do?

Do you feel like Danger took up his time?

I do, but at the end of the day, it’s a competition. You won’t get your time unless you win dates, and if you don’t win dates, you have to make time in the house. Some girls were more forward than others, but I’m not gonna cling to you and smother you. That’s not me.

What do you think about alcohol defining your character? Was that a fair representation?

I’m not that big of a drinker. If alcohol is there, I’m gonna drink it. What girl would turn down a drink? It’s fun. I’m not an alcoholic, though, and I don’t want to be seen as the alcoholic. Yes, my name is Chardonnay, because that’s my favorite beverage. I don’t drink hard liquor. I like wine. I feel like it’s a classy drink. Throughout the show, yes, I was drinking Chardonnay, but you never saw me drunk. You never saw my head in the toilet and I didn’t get eliminated for being a party girl. So I don’t feel so bad.

You weren’t drunk on the first episode?

I was tipsy! A lady never gets drunk, she gets tipsy.

You were accused of being a stripper. Are you?

No, I am not. That came up on the first episode, and I was like, OK. I didn’t need to explain myself to them. I was not about to prove to them that I’m this or not that. That was none of their business. People can say what they want, but anybody can do a split. A regular person can do a split. If you stretch long enough, you can do a split. Cheerleaders can do a split. It’s not like I’m doing a double cartwheel round-off back handspring, you know?

I think it takes special talent to do what you did on the stripper pole.

Yes, it does. It takes a lot of arm strength, but people take pole dancing classes. It’s a form of exercise. There could be a lot of different reasons why I was able to do that other than being a stripper.

During your lie-detector montage, it seemed as though you had said “Yes” to a question asking if you’d sleep with any of the girls in the house. Did you say that?

No, I did not. I said no and it came back that I was telling the truth. (Laughs)

Do you feel like your portrayal was accurate?

I do, for the most part. I wish they had shown some in-depth conversations we had and I wish they would have shown that we had fun in the house. It wasn’t just all catty and at each other’s throats. But I think I was portrayed well. They portrayed me as a real girl. I could do nothing else but be me, and I did me to the fullest.
