In last nights installment of Real Housewives of New Jersey it’s another round of the feud that never ends (it just goes on and on, my friends), as Teresa and Melissa engage in sister-in-lawemy behavior with behind the back comments and to the face fracas. Kathy hosts a goddess get-together to debut her catering ideas, but Teresa decides that she is the only goddess there, so the party becomes allll about her! Jacqueline and Ashley argue, and argue, and argue some more until Chris reaches his breaking point! Oh, and no Joe G-to-the-orga this episode – so happy days!
Things pick up where Hat-ley and Jacqueline left off last week. In an extremely emotional scene, Jacqueline is sobbing in the basement of the restaurant while Chris tries to console her. Jacqueline asks the questions millions of viewers have been screaming at the TV for 2.5 seasons: Why are they letting Ashley have free room and board when she treats us like crap? Exaaaactly, Lauritas, exaaaactly!

And as expected, this all has to do with her ongoing bankruptcy legal drama. See back in 2009, Teresa and hubby Joe Giudice filed bankruptcy to the tune of over $11 million in debt. However, almost a year later, their bankruptcy trustees alleged that Teresa knowingly withheld assets, including a $250,000 advance for her best-seller Skinny Italian and a business bank account.
An offense lawyers reveal could easily land her in prison for six months to a year. In fact, in unusual Teresa fashion, she actually spoke to the mag about the bankruptcy case. “I wish I could make this all go away,” admitted a clearly shaken Teresa, who insists any omissions were accidental, “but all I can do is take this one day at a time.”
Legal experts however add that Teresa, 39, is living on borrowed time. She and Joe were originally due to appear in court to face allegations of bankruptcy fraud on July 14, but the proceedings have now been postponed, giving her extra time before she faces the possibility of being torn from her daughters.
And unfortunately for Teresa, an attorney say it’s her own fault, even if she didn’t intend to commit a crime. “Teresa had her book contract a week before bankruptcy papers were filed but waited until a month after to sign it.” notes New Jersey lawyer Eric Lubin, who isn’t involved with the case.
“It seems as though she was avoiding signing the contract so that the money would come to her after the bankruptcy petition was filed. How could anyone forget that they have $250,000 coming to them?” In bankruptcy, everything a debtor owns before filing goes toward paying off debts. Anything earned after filing, the debtor can keep.
Meanwhile, bankruptcy trustees have also raised questions about $100,000 in deposits associated with Teresa’s online boutique, TGFabulicious.com. Because of that, Teresa “could be looking at life-altering consequences here,” cautions James Leonard, another New Jersey lawyer.
As for Teresa, she continues to keep her head up high while the legal drama looms on. “I’ve worked hard to brand myself,” she tells Life & Style. “I have no fears… Hopefully everything is going to be good,” adds Teresa.

TELL US – THOUGHTS ON THIS REPORT? DO YOU THINK TERESA KNOWINGLY WITHHELD ASSETS OR WAS IT AN INNOCENT MISTAKE?
This time around, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star poses for the mag with one of her daughters, and grants them an exclusive interview to discuss her finances today and most importantly her fear of going broke… again.
As you may recall, Teresa and her hubby Joe Giudicefiled bankruptcy 2 years ago to the tune of $11 million in debt. Teresa once again claims she was kept in the dark about her finances which were being handled by Joe. “Most couples would have gotten a divorce,” Teresa tells In Touch. “In most cases, people would have fallen apart,” agrees Joe. “But we are strong.”
Teresa, who can be seen on recent episodes of the RNONJ driving a Benz and wearing Christian Louboutin boots, goes on to reveal she and Joe have learned their lesson citing they have cut back on their extravagant lifestyle. “I don’t try to keep up with the Joneses anymore,” shares Teresa who has also been shown on the Bravo hit show having hairstylists come into her home to do her hair. “Sometimes, I do my own hair and makeup. I spend within my means,” she adds.
As for their finances today, the Giudices, who are “terrified of being poor,” assure us they are now very careful in how they spend their money. Joe’s new motto? “It isn’t how much money you make, it’s how much you save.”
Teresa adds that she has “no credit card debt” today. “I live a simple life,” Joe shares. “I shop at outlets and buy things cheap.” Joe also denies he is sponging off Teresa as a report that came out weeks ago stated he had sold his pizza place and was no longer working. “I am not living off Teresa,” he fumes. “I got money. What we are doing now is working together.”
You can read more of Teresa and Joe’s interview in the current issue of In Touch.
In other NJ news, Melissa Gorga recently revealed that her debut music single, titled “On Display,” will be released on iTunes next month. Melissa also released her single cover on her website melissagorga.net. That single cover is below!
Moving on to tonight’s all new episode of the RHONJ. On the 10th episode this season titled, “There Arose Such a Clatter,” the holiday season turns frosty when the Manzos tangle with Kim G. Meanwhile, Teresa and Kathy throw separate Christmas bashes; and Teresa isn’t very merry in the wake of a decision. A preview clip is below!
TELL US – THOUGHTS ON TERESA’S LATEST INTERVIEW? AND ON TONIGHT’S NEW EPISODE?
It seems Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudicesells magazines! That is evident by the fact that she is gracing three magazine covers this week, two of which are above (you can click on the covers to make it bigger). And if the cover stories are to be believed, Teresa is both pregnant and pursuing a new man. So let’s examine both stories!
First up is the In Touch cover story as Teresa graces the magazine cover for the 4th time in 6 weeks! Holy famewhore! Out of all the mags, In Touch actually has a paid real interview with Teresa.
The cover touts “A Baby Boy For Teresa!” So is she pregnant? Well that answer is NO. In reading the actual story, it is a what if scenario for Teresa who reveals she is considering having another baby, a son, for husband Joe Giudice. “I don’t know if my body will be able to take it,” explains Teresa who gained nearly 50 pounds with first child Gia.
Teresa, who has four daughters with hubby Joe, adds that having a son is very important to her husband. “That’s important to him, she says adding that even though a new baby would take a toll physically, financially and emotionally, she still wants to give Joe the little boy he’s always wanted.
In fact, Teresa and Joe already have a name picked out for their yet to be conceived baby boy. “It would definitely be Franco, after my father-in-law,” she shares. And Joe approves. “I think my dad would like that,” smiles Joe adding that he daydreams about teaching a son “football, baseball, boxing, karate, anything he likes.”
Teresa, who filed bankruptcy in 2009 with an $11 million debt, however worries about the financial toll having another baby would bring. “You have to worry about college,” says Teresa. “I want to be able to give them everything, and the more kids, the harder that gets.”
Moving right along to the OK! story which states Teresa is on the brink of divorce with Joe. The reason? Because he might be going away for 10 years. Joe was arrested earlier this year and charged with using his brother’s ID to get a driver’s license (his license is suspended due to a past DUI conviction) and faces up to 10 years in prison.
“If he goes to prison for years, Teresa will likely file for divorce,” says an insider. “Teresa’s really angry at him, she can’t believe he got arrested again. She just can’t forgive him. The fact that he premeditated [illegally getting the driver's license] and didn’t ask her what she thought has made her flip,” adds the source.
“She’s accepted that Joe will probably end up in prison for a while, and there’s no way she wants to be single. She’s faced the idea of dating again,” reveals the insider before going on to state Teresa already has a certain man in mind that she wants in her life.
As for Teresa, she is laughing all the way to the bank about the stories. She tweeted yesterday morning after the mags came out, “Happy hump day!!! What’s news (besides more tabloid covers…)? Enjoying your summer? xx.” You can read more of both stories in the issues of In Touch and OK! magazine.
Almost 2 years after filing bankruptcy to the tune of $11 million in debt, Teresa is facing the possibility that her bankruptcy filing could be overturned. Why? She is facing trial for bankruptcy fraud alongside her husband Joe Giudice.
If you recall, we reported last year that the Giudices were scheduled to go on trial July 14th. However the Giudices were able to get that date postponed last month. While New Jersey Judge Morris Stern refused to dismiss the trial, he did postpone it to October 13th… just in time for the filming of the RHONJ season 4.
The Giudices’ trustee John W. Sywilok is accusing them of concealing assets and hiding income on their bankruptcy filing. You can read all about that by clicking here. The goal of the trustee is to get the bankruptcy granted to them dismissed so that they will be responsible for all their debt. In addition to that, Teresa and Joe also have another trial scheduled for January 2012. It appears plaintiffs in that case are trying to get a judge to exclude a mortgage debt related to Joe’s dealings with his former business partner Joe Mastropole, excluded from their bankruptcy.
In other NJ news, Teresa’s sister-in-law Melissa Gorga spoke about their feud in a new interview. Melissa, 31, reveals she is willing to let bygones be bygones when it comes to her relationship, or lack thereof, with Tre. Melissa also insinuates that Teresa was only willing to make up with her because of the Bravo cameras.
“There’s definitely times where I hear her point,” Melissa told the L.A. Times “But it’s been frustrating for me because I’ve been asking her for years and years and years to fix it, to work it out with me. All of a sudden, within the last year, she was doing all the right things and saying the right things. But better now than never, I guess. I’ve been trying to get her to act this way for years. I guess I was confused: ‘Why now?’ But whatever. We’re family. I’m always willing to forgive.”
So how is their relationship today? “Right now, she’s my sister-in-law,” Melissa said. “We have kids the same age — we try, we try to work it out. And we try to be together for the family. It’s not like we’re best friends, but we’re family. I want my husband to have a relationship with his family.”
However, a new report by UsWeekly magazine is painting a slightly different picture. An insider tells the latest issue of the mag that Joe, 41, is no longer working. The reason? He has already sold his Giuseppe’s Homestyle Pizzeria, where he’d worked since at least last October.
“He now has no job,” the source reveals of the former entrepreneur, who filed for bankruptcy with Teresa in October 2009, to the tune of $11 million in debt.
The source adds that Teresa, 39, is now the breadwinner of the family. “They’re living off her Housewives paychecks and even from her two cookbooks!” adds the source. In the Giudices’ defense, it could be that perhaps Joe is now looking to start a new business venture.
In fact, Teresa recently revealed in an interview that her and Joe are looking to get into the wine business. “We’re starting a new business with wines,” Teresa told the NY Daily News this week citing that Joe actually makes homemade wine. Teresa also stated a while back that she is hoping to get her own cooking show.
In other news, Teresa’s sis-in-law Melissa Gorga alongside her husband Joe Gorga appeared on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show this morning during which they discussed Teresa and Melissa’s singing.
When asked what led to the brother-sister feud, Joe reveals it all stems from competition. “What happened was competition. My daughter was born and she was competitive with the kids.” said Joe. “Me and my sister were cool. My problem was when my daughter was born. that was my biggest issue with my sister. She’ll say she doesn’t know what we’re talking about, but that was my issue.”
And what about the angry meltdown during the Christening? “It was a tough moment. I was holding in a lot of pain for a lot of years, and it happened. I was very embarrassed,” Joe explained.
Melissa adds, “I think that she was used to being the only Italian girl around. Because she had just her brother, they don’t have a lot of family.”
As for Melissa’s singing, she reveals she plans to release her first single in July before going on to assure us she can really sing. “You’re going to see it, not this coming episode, but the following episode, you’re going to see me sing a cappella next to a piano,” said Melissa. “So, there is no auto-tune going on, this is real voice. I’m working with producers that produce songs for Britney and Beyonce.” A picture of Melissa and Joey with Ryan is below!

TELL US – THOUGHTS ON JOE BEING JOBLESS & JOE GORGA’S COMMENTS ABOUT TERESA?
This time around, the topic of conversation is not her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, but rather her husband Joe Giudice. Teresa reveals she is “terrified” of Joe going to prison for his latest arrest and being left alone to take care of their 4 daughters together.
In the article, Teresa doesn’t touch on her bankruptcy legal issues at all (she and Joe are scheduled to face trial next month for bankruptcy fraud) as she only brings up Joe’s recent arrest for allegedly fraudulently obtaining a state driver’s licence with his brother’s ID.
“It would be devastating,” said Teresa of the prospect of Joe going away – he is facing up to 10 year in prison. “I’m terrified. I don’t know what I’m going to do.” Teresa reveals she also worries about what a 10-year jail sentence would do to their four daughters – Gia, 10, Gabriella, 6, Milania, 5, and Audriana, 21 months.
“I would be very nervous about the kids if Joe were to go to prison,” admits Teresa. “Daddy is their hero and their king. They go crazy for him.” And of course the Giudices, well mostly Joe, uses this as an opportunity to take a shot at Teresa’s brother Joe Gorga. Joe “would not do “sh*t” for Teresa states Joe Giudice when asked who would help his wife in the case of a prison sentence.
Oddly enough, Teresa admits Melissa reached out to her during Joe’s past jail stint while her brother Joe didn’t. “When the whole thing happened, his wife [Melissa] texted me,” she remembers. “I was nice to her, saying, “Thanks for text. We’re doing fine.’ But it would have been nice if my brother called. He is my brother — it would have been good of him to reach out to me.” Teresa adds that she felt alone during that time aka during Joe’s 10-day sentence (he only served 8 days) despite getting support from Joe’s family.
Joe also shockingly says he would understand if Teresa divorced him and remarried if he went away for 10 years. Teresa however reveals she can’t even imagine dating anyone else. “I couldn’t see myself with another guy,” she confides. “I’ve known Joe my whole life.”
And today, Teresa says she has major anxiety. “I have anxiety about it,” Teresa says. “I can’t sleep.” Joe adds that he absolutely cannot go back to prison citing that “a week in jail is like an eternity.” He adds, “When you are living outside, taking care of your family and then suddenly, you’re confined and being ordered around, it’s awful.” He insists,”I don’t belong in a place where those people are.”
You can read more of Teresa’s story in the latest issue of In Touch Weekly.
