As we reported last week, sources close to the 48-year-old reality/sex tape star claim she had to find out about her firing the same way everyone else did – by reading about it online.
The NYDailyNews is now reporting today, via Life&Style magazine, that Danielle has since resorted to tormenting her still employed cast mates.
“She spends her days driving around Franklin Lakes, slowing down outside her co-stars’ houses,” an insider tells Life&Style, even adding that Danielle was spotted pulling up to co-star Caroline Manzo’s home in her white Range Rover on Aug. 5.
“Danielle pointed to Caroline’s house and said something to the other people in the car,” says an eyewitness, adding that after identifying the home to her passengers, Danielle sped off.
Another source tells the mag the other housewives, along with their children, feel vulnerable because none of them live in a gated community. “None of them needed security before,” a second source added. “But now everyone’s nervous.”
Caroline is also reported to have completed flipped out when watching the finale episode, as she was not aware Danielle brought armed men to their sit down. “It’s one thing to create silly drama for television. It’s a completely different story when you involve guns,” says the source.
In other NJ news, the very public humiliation continues for Teresa Giudice. RadarOnline uncovered some court documents from a February 2010 Chapter 7 hearing, during which Teresa claimed all of her jewelry is fake, with the exception of her wedding band.
Oddly enough, a July appraisal ordered by the court showed the value of Teresa’s wedding band as being a mere $150. So in February, Teresa states her wedding band is real, and in July, that real wedding band is appraised at $150. Seems like someone might have pulled a good ole switcharoo to avoid losing their wedding band. The same appraisal showed the value of Joe’s wedding band as being only $240.
According to Radar, Teresa told the court all the jewelry she and hubby Joe Giudice owned got stolen a couple of years ago during a break in. “It’s all costume jewelry… and if you look at what I wear, it’s all costume jewelry,” stated Teresa to the trustee attorney questioning her during the hearing.
It gets even better. Teresa told the court she got about $20,000 from the insurance company, after which the trustee lawyer reminded her she and hubby Joe filed a claim for $120,000.
“Well, I mean, you know, when you get estimates from jewelers, they always put it for more than what it is,” was Teresa’s reply.
Other revelations from the court documents include the Giudices claiming they only had $1,000 in their bank account in their bankruptcy petition filing. Joe also admitted he gets $5,000 in monthly assistance from his father. “Whenever I need it, I ask him,” Joe said.
The Giudices also claimed their home furnishings are “used.”
And finally, Danielle Staub performed her non-hit single ‘Real Close‘ alongside rumored girlfriend Lori Michaels on the PIX11 Morning News show. The hilarity is above.
The finale of the Real Housewives of New Jersey titled ‘The Heads of Family Will Roll‘ airs tonight on Bravo.
After getting wrapped up in the Danielle drama for way too long, Caroline is ready to take a stand. Wanting to support her family and friends, especially Jacqueline’s daughter Ashley, who is in jeopardy of having the hair-pulling incident on her permanent record, Caroline is ready to meet face-to-face with the enemy Danielle.
Meanwhile, Danielle, still claiming to be the victim of all Housewife drama discusses who is behind the attacks with her partner-in-crime Danny. Will Caroline’s attempt to get rid of Danielle finally work or are we in for another table-flipping situation? Find out tonight at 10/9c. A preview clip is below.
In other news, it seems with the end of the Real Housewives of New Jersey in sight, Kim Granatell is desperate to keep her name in the press.
Weeks after crashing the birthday party of Danielle Staub, the two-faced trouble maker is up to a new stunt. According to RadarOnline, Kim G., who owns both a Bentley and a Ferrari, plans on buying out all of Teresa Giudice’s home items at her upcoming auction.
The reason? Well for one Kimmie is not a fan of Teresa’s, adding, “I’m going to buy everything and re-sell it on eBay.” Kim tells Radar she plans on donating the proceeds to the Emmanuel Cancer charity.
Kim G. also manages to take a parting shot at Teresa, saying: “Her things should be for sale on a folding table on Mulberry Street.” Ouch.
And finally, RadarOnline is also reporting all of the New Jersey Housewives have been banned from the North Jersey Country Club. You know, the same country club in which the whole Danielle extension yanking drama went down.
The club’s General Manager John Stanley sent out a letter to the club members on July 19 apologizing, stating the ladies are not welcome back at the club, while also calling their behavior staged.
A preview clip of the finale episode is below -
TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON KIM G’S PLANS AND THE FINALE EPISODE OF THE NJ HOUSEWIVES?
Not that you needed any more reasons for your disgust dislike of Teresa Giudice, but we’re about to give you 60,000 more.
The NYPost is reporting today that the Real Housewives of New Jersey star celebrated being debt free by going on a $60,000 spending spree, after filing for bankruptcy to the tune of $11 million in debt back in October, 2009.
The shocker hasn’t even come yet. According to the Post, Teresa and hubby Joe Giudice blew $8,800 for curtains and nearly $45,000 on wall hangings, mirrors, frames, tables, urns and chairs, just days after filing bankruptcy. Just days folks…. Unbelievable.
This little tidbit came out yesterday as the morons Giudices had their attorney James Kridel file a court document with receipts that detailed the irresponsible spending, as a way to show the court that some of their auction items were purchased after their filing. The Post reports even Kridel seemed at a loss for words when trying to explain the asinine spending to Judge Morris Stern, saying he knew the documents presented “a dilemma” and that the Judge might view it as “conspicuous consumption.” Ya think?
“These were not Ikea-purchased furniture items,” Judge Stern said. “These were from high-end design stores.”
As we reported yesterday, the judge refused to stop the public auction of the Giudices home items, but postponed it to Oct. 3. Bankruptcy trustee John Sywilok, who has accused the Giudices of concealing assets, was also present during the hearing and stated that right before their bankruptcy filing, the Giudices purchased $21,000 worth of furniture and paid off a total of $11,000 of that amount just two days before filing.
And there’s more folks! While Teresa refused to comment on her irresponsible wasteful disgusting spending spree, hubby Joe, who is said to have been sweating profusely, got a little testy at the reporters. “None of your business! Back off before I get pissed!” stated an angry Joe outside of the courtroom.
And somewhere in America, an average couple is holding multiple jobs to keep a roof over their heads, feed their kids, and pay off their debt, while the Giudices get to remain debt free and live in their $5 mil mansion! Surely this has to be criminal…
UPDATE: Teresa’s lawyer James Kridel tries to explain the unbelievable spending spree she went on just days after filing bankruptcy.“That was the money she earned as an advance for her book Skinny Italian,” her attorney tells PEOPLE. “Since she earned it after the filing, she was absolutely free to spend it.”
It doesn’t end there. Kridel then tries to explain why Teresa needed to buy $60,000 worth of furniture while also acknowledging just how incredibly awful and disgusting this makes his client look. “She needed to re-buy furniture because she didn’t have any furniture in the house,” says Kridel. “It’s a big house and she wanted furniture consistent with her style on the show. There is nothing wrong with doing that, except that it doesn’t look good for her to be doing it.” No Kridel, it doesn’t, not by a long shot.
Must say it’s quite interesting that Teresa managed to receive her book advance just a few days after filing bankruptcy.
TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS LATEST DEVELOPMENT? ARE YOU OUTRAGED?
As the end of the season nears, a new episode of the Real Housewives of New Jersey titled ‘Hills Are Alive With Giudice’ airs tonight.
As the housewives continue their overseas vacation, some of the ladies have trouble hiding their foul moods. Will Teresa’s rambunctious young ones ruin the trip for the other families or will Teresa be able to control the girls? Meanwhile, back in Franklin Lakes Danielle enjoys the freedom of knowing the other women are out of the country. Heading out to lunch with Danny, Danielle opens up about her fears of being ambushed by the other housewives. Will Danielle have to run for cover once the ladies return or will there ever be Housewife a truce? Find out tonight at 10/9c on Bravo.
The auction for the couple, pictured above during their court appearance this morning, has now been set for October 3. According to the Ledger, the Giudices appeared in Newark this morning before U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Morris, who stated he would allow the postponement of the auction to allow for a review of which items can be sold. The judge however made it clear this is not to cancel the auction.
The Star-Ledger reports the Giudices objected to the sales of a number of items in the auction, including children’s toys, beds and antique accessories. They reportedly feared that some used personal property would fetch far less than it would cost to replace it.
The Judge agreed that their children’s items should be removed from the auction list, and has appointed a court-appointed trustee and auction agent to meet with the Giudices and go through every item to decide what items will be put up for sale and which will remain exempt.
Guess those of us interested in that nice gas range will have to wait a few more weeks.
According to RadarOnline, court documents show the A. Atkins Appraisal Corporation predicted the forced sale value of Teresa and hubby Joe Giudice’s home items to total only $51,160. A very tiny amount compared to her massive debt of $11 million.
The amount is even more surprising considering pretty much everything Teresa owns is being auctioned off, including her bedroom set, refrigerators, gas range, televisions, furniture, a boat, and even the toys belonging to her kids.
The Giudices, who are being accused of perjury for allegedly failing to disclose some of their assets, also had their wedding bands appraised to the amount of $150 for Teresa’s 14 kt. yellow gold band, and $240 for Joe’s 14 kt. white gold wedding band.
Evidently, the Giudices want the world to believe that while they squandered millions of dollars, and racked up $11 million in debt living beyond their means, they somehow forgot to upgrade their wedding bands. It’s a wonder these two geniuses are being accused of concealing assets.
Despite having their lawyer file an objection, the auction is still set for August 22.
Tonight marks episode 14 of the very long neverending current season of the Real Housewives of New Jersey.
In tonight’s episode, the housewives take a trip to Venice, Italy sans Danielle Staub. Caroline, Teresa and Jacqueline head to Venice for a family vacation and are excited to explore the city on water. The three and their crew enjoy all that the city has to offer but are upset by their non-singing gondola guys! Will the ladies make it through the trip in one piece or will the famous Housewife drama follow them across seas? Find out tonight at10/9c on Bravo.
Also coming up in tonight’s episode is the Joe Giudice DWI arrest. Joe was arrested back on January 14th for driving under the influence, and as we reported yesterday, he has been sentenced for his driving offense.
However in a preview clip for tonight’s new episode, Joe denies he was drinking that night, even though his blood-alcohol content after the crash was .11 percent, above the .08 percent at which a motorist is considered intoxicated in New Jersey.
This isn’t the first time Joe has had driving issues, as his driving license has been suspended an astonishing total of 9.4 years out of the last 20 years. As for Joe’s sentence, the judge “imposed $864 in penalties; revoked his driver’s license for 12 months; and ordered him to perform 30 days community service. A 30-day jail sentence was suspended, providing the community service is completed.”
UPDATE - Thanks to our reader Bryan, Danielle Staub is now denying to HollywoodLife that she tweeted Jacqueline’s daughter Ashley Holmes should kill herself.
This all began last week when a twitter user @PrinceEdwiin tweeted to Danielle that it was his birthday and he wanted “Ashley Holmes to kill herself and videotape it.” Danielle then replied to him saying: “happy birthday. May every wish come true!”
Well Danielle’s stupid defense is now that she doesn’t read every single tweet sent to her and that she sometimes barely reads what is said to her, adding that “I never tweeted that Ashley should kill herself! I would never wish death upon Ashley! I can’t stand the fact it has gotten this far.” Umm then who made the tweet Danielle?
Danielle also seems to be confused about how twitter works as she wonders how @PrinceEdwin was able to tweet to her since he doesn’t follow her. Umm will someone please inform Danielle people who don’t follow you can tweet to you?
TELL US – ARE YOU BUYING DANIELLE’S STORY? WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE LATEST EPISODE OF THE NEW JERSEY HOUSEWIVES?
Just when you think you’ve heard it all when it comes to the Giudices, comes two shocking new reports about the Real Housewives of New Jersey posers stars.
The first report comes courtesy of NorthJersey.com, which states that Teresa Giudice and hubby Joe failed to inform the Bravo network of their bankruptcy filing. According to the site, Bravo did not know about the October 29, 2009 filing until the NYPost broke the story in June.
A Bravo representative tells the site, “We had no idea about any of that,” also adding that the bankruptcy issue will not come up in of the future episodes, including the Aug. 23 season finale.
“We just follow the ladies. They tell us what they’re doing and we decide if we want to film them that day. So, if Teresa [had] said, ‘Hey, guess what, guys? I’m going to file for bankruptcy today,’ we probably would have followed it. But it’s easy for them to not give us that information,” continues the Bravo rep.
The North Jersey site then goes on to make a valid point stating that as “a result of the Giudice’s selectivity, there’s a strange discrepancy between “reality” and real life on ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’ this season.”
Joe’s former business partner Paterson Realtor Joe Mastropole, who is listed as being owed $586,000 on the bankruptcy petition, also had some choice words for the Giudices, stating: “It’s really a disgrace… Why are they still pretending to be people they’re not on the show?”
Mastropole wasn’t done talking as he also accuses Joe of being a slumlord. “Mr. Giudice had been collecting rent on [those] three properties … and not paying the mortgages, not paying the oil, not paying the utilities, not paying the taxes, not paying the fines and violations and so on and so forth and put those buildings into a hole. Now, he’s going bankrupt.”
Mastropole also adds that Joe was using money he gave him to pay expenses on those buildings to help build his mansion. “He’d say, we need $5,000 this week. We need $10,000 this week, so at the beginning I would give it to him, thinking that it was legit. I find out that it’s going into his house in Montville.”
An attempt is now being made by Mastropole to block the discharge of Joe’s unpaid debt to him. Adding to Mastropole’s dismay is the fact that a Judge ruled in his favor on Oct. 23, 2009 regarding the debt. However, the Giudices decided to file bankruptcy just days later.
Driving Record – In other news, another shocking new report by the Daily Record states Joe Giudice is now appealing his sentence for the DWI he received earlier this year on January 14, the same one that will be featured on the upcoming episode of the show.
But that is not the shocker folks, the site reports that Joe’s license has been suspended a total of 9.4 years out of the last 20 years! The site also adds that at the time of the municipal court trial, Joe had 39 points on his license. The sanctions were for offenses such as speeding, leaving the scene of an accident and careless driving.
This DWI is reportedly Joe’s first, but the Judge did not go easy on him due to his driving history. The judge “imposed $864 in penalties; revoked his driver’s license for 12 months; and ordered him to perform 30 days community service. A 30-day jail sentence was suspended, providing the community service is completed.”
