Melissa backtracks and now wishes she hadn’t said that she was moving away because of sister-in-law Teresa Giudice. “So as you already know, we moved to Franklin Lakes last September and you will see us in our rental home this season. We bought a property there and are building a house a couple miles away from where we are renting. Watching this episode makes me think about two things that I wish I could go back and erase. The first was making that statement about why we wanted to move and the second was not listening to my gut and going through with the sale of our Montville home to the person who bought it.”
Kai claims that things didn’t go in Melissa and Joe’s favor as several reports claimed after their court hearing last week. He shared the court order and some additional information with us.
Kai says the court hearing wasn’t anything like the news reports claimed. “I got a fair and favorable order by the Judge yesterday. The Judge never said or alleged that Mr. Gorga was getting their property back in 17 days, or the Judge would have ordered an eviction yesterday that would require the removal in 17 days. Nowhere in the order was an eviction granted.”
A judge ruled that Kai Patterson can stay in the Gorga house for another 17 days if he coughs up $25,000. According to the Gorga attorney, Patterson owes them more than $180,000. So, the eviction proceedings are delayed for a few more days.
The two sides went back and forth and Gorga’s attorney made it clear that Melissa and Joe want the eviction done as quickly as possible so they can move back into the mansion! The Gorgas want to get back in the house and enroll their kids in school for the upcoming year. Hmm..guess that “Dream Home” isn’t happening anytime soon.
I’m apologizing in advance because this is another book-length tale. I am sharing the whole thing once again, for those of you who enjoy every last morsel of gossip and craziness. I’m also summarizing a bit of in bullet highlights, although that won’t do these latest revelations and accusations a bit of justice.
A few highlights - Joe Gorga allegedly owes the state of New Jersey Workers’ Compensation more than $45,000, Joe Gorga also allegedly hired a man to sit on the Montville mansion’s property to make sure that Mr. Patterson wasn’t hiring other contractors to fix the house and more! Even that “fake attorney” from the Posche 2 salon brawl legal debacle makes an appearance in this twisted tale, too!
Velocity 1 Media hosted the Real Housewives of New Jerseypremiere party at the Pure Restaurant and Lounge in New Jersey. Proceeds from the tickets go to Project Ladybug, Dina‘s charity, and the Deborah Hospital Foundation.
According to a local news source, Dina was the only star who went out of her way to mingle with the guests. She regularly came out of the VIP room, where the RHONJ stars were stowed away, to meet and pose for pictures with fans. Melissa and Amber mingled with guests at the end of the event only. Juicy made a brief appearance by the ropes guarding the VIP room, looking like a bouncer, I’m sure. Teresa hid in the back of the VIP room all night.
UPDATE: Several party attendees reached to tell us that the local news report was not accurate. Many have shared that Teresa did not hide from the guests and that all the ladies mingled.
Teresa Giudice is the master of putting on a happy face, despite the drama surrounding her. She’s always pretending everything is fine! But finally, unfortunately, the facade is being forced to crack as she and husband Joe Giudice deal with the upcoming federal sentencing related to a 41 count fraud indictment and the sudden loss of Joe’s father.
In addition, with Real Housewives of New Jersey airing, Teresa’s problems are about to be thrust in our faces to dissect. And of course, since nothing with RHONJ is as it seems, the recent so-called reunited Teresa and Melissa Gorga are already falling apart.
Reality Tea received an exclusive scoop from an inside source about what’s going on behind the scenes at RHONJ ‘Headquarters’.
Real Housewives of New Jersey is upon us – and with it comes the mayhem that always follows. With a brand new cast – that also includes their own family drama – plus the addition of Melissa Gorga‘s former bestie Amber Marchese, things are bound to get interesting. Finally somebody that knew Missy way back when..
Melissa warns – it gets exciting! “There’s some hair-pulling! There’s arguments, there’s a lot of laughs. I definitely think the new girls came ready to go. I think the viewers are going to love watching all of this unexpected stuff.”
Melissa is also gearing up for a different kind of season; one where she and sister-in-law Teresa Giudice finally aren’t at odds. “I feel like I don’t want to fight anymore. I think we’ve agreed to disagree on certain things,” Melissa says of her relationship with Teresa. “There’s a bigger picture going on obviously in her life. I think right now, she needs family, and it’s a time for family to back her up, and her brother and I are here for her.”
Are yous ready for this? Real Housewives of New Jersey is ba-ack this Sunday. Before we dive into the new New Jersey, let’s rehash last season so we’re all prepared. Undoubtedly the theme for season five was Love & Fight. The cast made amends and broke up every other episode!
We were promised a season of family reunification but it was really more of the same old family crucification. The cast took their battling, bickering, and brawling all across the USA since Juicy was banned from international travel via his bail agreement #FlightRisk, where they attempted to mend fences with therapists, magic pony rides, and “truthing” exercises. And it all came crashing down again when they took a little venture to The Land of Posche.
In the end, we ended up right back where we started, but at least Bravo fired some people and a new cast might bring new dramas. Here’s hoping! Oh – and Teresa Giudice got indicted, so that’s also something new.
