Back when Nicole (Snooki) Polizzi was just a wee little pickle-eating, hot tub-defiling Jersey Shore cast member, we might have gazed into her future and thought: women’s prison? pole dancer? But I, for one, did not conjure up “self help guru.” Alas, that is the alternate universe we are living in, folks! (Wait – am I in Hot Tub Time Machine and just don’t know it yet?)
This week, Snooki has taken to Instagram to share the publication news of her fifth – yes, fifth – book, Strong Is the New Sexy: A Kick Ass Memoir. “My 5th book is ready for pre-sale & coming out officially October 13!!! Doing tons of book signings and can’t wait to meet you!” gushed Snooki.
Snooki gained almost 50 lbs when she was pregnant with son Lorenzo, now 6 months old – and the reality star has lost almost all of it!
The Jersey Shore star reveals that she's shed a whopping 42-lbs and is almost down to her pre-baby weight of 98 lbs. "When you have a baby, everything changes," Snookitells Us Weekly.
Now weighting in at 102 lbs, the 4-foot-nine-inch Snooki says she's ready for bikinis and hoochie attire again.
"I lost it for me," Snooki reveals, "but I also wanted Jionni to know that I can be hot as a mom." Snooki says diet and exercise helped her shed the weight, but also diet pills! Snooki endorses Zantrex-3.
"Hard work pays off Big thanks to my trainer @anthonycpt27, Express Meals & Florham Park Fitness!!" she tweeted.
