In her Bravo blog this week, Cynthia begins, "Hello everyone! Welcome back to another drama filled episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta! Let’s jump right on in!"
After wishing Peter the most happiest of birthdays, Cynthia dives right in to discuss the beef between her husband and her best friend. She writes, "I was a little upset with Peter the next morning (after Kenya's event) for confronting NeNe(although she actually confronted him), because I did not think it was the right time to talk. The night had already taken a turn for the worst, and I didn't see the point in trying to fix something that was already broken. Had NeNe not gotten out of her car, walked over to Peter, and initiated the conversation with Peter, there would not have been a reason for him to be in her face acting like a bitch, right? It was pretty clear that his conversation was directed to me. So I don't know who the monster was that was waiting at the top of the hill, because the only thing that Peter was waiting for was his car to leave."
In this week's photo roundup we haveKim Kardashian and Kanye West out and about in NYC, Snooki showing her cowgirl moves, and the Mob Wives celebrate JWoww's birthday with her. Bethenny picks up Bryn, Kourtney and Scott go on a date and the Vanderpump Rules cast celebrate the finale together.
Well, someone certainly doesn't care about being friends with any of her Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars. It's the NeNe Leakes Show, and that's all there is to it! After the craziness of Sunday night's episode, the Neenster has choice words for new biffles Marlo Hampton (she's not even a real cast member, NeNe reminds us) and the crazy that is Kenya Moore. Poor Cynthia wanted some fun at the Bailey Bowl, but with this group, that is quite the pipe dream!
It comes as no surprise that you won't need any sunglasses given the amount of shade NeNe throws in her Bravo blog this week! Aptly titled Manlow and Krayonce, she begins, "Here we go again! If you read my blogs, then you know I hate long, drawn out stuff. I don't have time to touch on the BS, so let's jump right in! The Bailey Bowl: I love a good challenge, so when I was told to gather up a team and meet on a field for some fun and competition, I was there! We started off by having some good competitive fun. Then here comes the BS!"
Overnight it seems Kenya Moore and Marlo have become tighter than Marlo's wardrobe. Although I don't think anyone would describe them as friends – more like thick as thieves because they are up to some plotting!
Reeling in the aftermath of Kenya's charity event in which NeNe was honored but not honored (nor honorable) NeNe admits to Gregg (aka Tagalong) that she turned into NayNay, her super-ghetto alter-ego who likes to go all PLONK! and circumstance. As he listens to his wife's tale of woe, Gregg is sipping coffee from a toilet-shaped mug. I can't help but wonder… Is Gregg's toilet mug an indication of the status of his life? He's flushed his integrity and self-respect down the toilet for fame.
Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to Twitter to share even more of their daily lives with us. And we love them for it! Here's a roundup of some of our favorite photos from the Twitterverse this week! Enjoy!
Certain ladies of Real Housewives of Atlanta need to read Secrets of A Southern Belle… – it should be required reading! But if everyone behaved civilly there wouldn't be any of that potent drama! Also, an evite does not an invitation make. When did the evite replace the speakerphone invite?! Technology sucks! Next we'll be tweet-viting.
Kenya Moore is throwing an "elegant Eyes Wide Shut" masquerade ball in the theme of shade. Because NeNe Leakes is furious with her for "ruining" her pillow talk nightmare, Kenya is returning the favor by setting NeNe up to ruin one of her parties. Kenya is sending out evites, she's planning the event with Marlo Hamptonand she's decided to make NeNe the secret guest of honor by having the party actually be a charity auction where the proceeds benefit NeNe's favorite charity.
But – and here's the big BUTT – Kenya isn't going to bother to call NeNe on the phone to discuss how she's the guest of honor. "I'm gonna kill her with kindness," Kenya threatens, adding that she wants to mend things with NeNe because she used to look up to her as an "older sister". NeNe and Kenya are the same age (46 and 43).
Kenya and Marlo discuss her plan at Miss Lawrence's salon (I thought he lost his license?). Marlo warns Kenya that she's looking at months of the silent treatment out of NeNe after pillow talk. Kenya rubs her hands together, cackles her evil laugh, eyes flashing and bellows 'I know how to make a bitch squeal!' Eyes wide shut indeed.
Is this what we're calling avant-garde these days? Lady Gaga fancies herself to be on the experimental edge of pop culture and pop music (and having been to one of her concerts, I'd say men dressed in condoms and burning statutes crying blood aren't your typical pop fan fare), and now she's pushing the envelope even more.
That's right. Gaga is supposedly featuring the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in an upcoming video. Perhaps she's more mainstream than she'd like to admit. You know Kyle Richards' is having a field day over this! I can only imagine the title of this song!
Cynthia Bailey let her messy side show where Kandi Burruss' fiance was concerned and that led to a blowout argument between Cynthia, PeterThomas, Kandi, and Todd Tucker – which was further instigated by Cynthia's sister Malorie! I guess they share the gene for stirring up trouble!
In her Bravo blogCynthia admits things got carried away and she apologizes for her behavior.
Cynthia begins by explaining that she feels everyone was involved in the drama and that the entire group "looks back on that night with embarrassment and regret." Has she seen WWHL? Pretty sure Kenya doesn't!
"I admit that it was a little 'messy boots' for me to tell the ladies about my conversation with Natalie about the whole Todd opportunist thing. In Natalie's defense, I don't remember if she ever said the word opportunist, but I felt like it was implied," Cynthia explains. "She actually had a lot of very nice things to say about Todd as well, but I guess the negative will always outweigh the positive. It's actually kind of funny, because this whole conversation started off pretty harmless."
