Holy &%#@*! I feel like they’ve been on hiatus for an extreme amount of time, but it is finally time for the ladies of Mob Wives to reconvene for the first season’s reunion special. And holy host! Unless she was tag-teaming with Maury Povich on Jerry Springer’s set, I can’t imagine a better host for this reunion than Wendy Williams. This is going to be AH-MAZE-ING!
Wendy Williams, or W Squared, begins by discussing the public perception of the show. Drita can’t believe that people are upset over her representation of Staten Island. As far as she’s concerned, it wasn’t a representation of Staten Island as it was just a representation of her personal life, so what is the big deal? I can see her point. I mean, if New Jersey were judged on the representations of the cast of Jersey Shore or RHWNJ, the Garden State would be royally screwed…oh wait. W2 reminds the ladies that Mob Princess Victoria Gotti has bad-mouthed the show, calling it scripted, and that clearly strikes a nerve with Renee, but she doesn’t elaborate.

If you recall, Drita discovered Lee had cheated on her, you know, during one of his brief stints out of prison, on last week’s finale episode. Even worse, Drita also found out Lee had been bringing their daughter Aleeya around his mistress. And today, Drita is making it clear she is done with Lee, even stating they are no longer speaking.
“Right now it looks like I’m going to 100% [get divorced],” Drita tells the HollywoodLife. “I did speak to him and we do not speak anymore since I confronted him about it. We don’t talk.”
Drita also reveals Lee lied about the affair when she confronted him. “He said exactly what I thought he was going to say,” says Drita. “He said it wasn’t true, but I know it is. It’s just something that I don’t see him confessing to. I don’t really need his confession, I just need him to know that I’m not going to be there for him anymore.”
Drita adds that her decision to leave Lee wasn’t an easy one. “It’s not easy, but I’m too prideful and I could never lay with a man that I know was with someone else,” continues Drita. “I can’t do it. I’m still heartbroken.”
So is Drita planning to start dating again soon? “I don’t think I’m ever trusting anybody ever again,” she states. “I’d rather be by myself than with somebody I can’t trust. I’m used to being alone.” As for her message to Lee, she states this is the worst mistake he ever made. “‘Just to lose your family, it’s not worth it,’” she adds.
We will get to see all of this divorce drama play out as the second season of Mob Wives is scheduled to begin filming soon.
Moving on to tonight’s reunion episode which will have the ladies revisiting all their issues from the season. In the clip below, Drita and Karen Gravanoare in the same room together since their rooftop brawl and there’s still some tension lingering between them. The reunion airs on VH1 at 8/7c and a preview is below -

TELL US – THOUGHTS ON DRITA WANTING TO DIVORCE LEE & TONIGHT’S REUNION SHOW?
Season One of Vh1’s Mob Wives might be over but the drama sure isn’t! In a post-season, pre-reunion interview for Complex the cast of Mob Wives give their opinions of all the fights, drama, and friendship destruction and reveal what’s next for the ladies.
As for how the cast reacted to having cameras follow their every move, resident badgirl, Drita D’avanzo describes it as “stressful”, describing herself as a private person who kept her identity as the wife of a gangster secret for years: “I worked in [Saks Fifth Avenue] for seven years and no one ever knew anything about me. They probably, honestly, would be shocked. I mean, seven years in the same place, 55 hours a week with 55 women, and you never tell anyone that your husband was in jail or that you’re a single mom—they’re gonna be shocked. I never used profanity!”
Renee Graziano, on the other hand, called the experience “therapeutic,” proclaiming: “I got to learn a lot about myself.” As for how the editing process portrayed her, surprisingly Renee is ok with it: “At first, I was a little uptight because people weren’t seeing the side of me… I’m very funny. I’m very, very loving. I came off extremely hard and, I think, cold. But as the show has unraveled, you get to see who I really am and I love it.”
Karen Gravano gives the status of her book Shadow of the Bull, which we can expect to find in clearance racks bookstores this fall! Karen explains she is meeting with her ghost writer and using the book to establish her own identity outside of being Sammy The Bull’s daughter: “Not by any means am I saying that I don’t love my father, but you want to have your own identity, you don’t always want to be your mother’s child or your father’s child.”
As you could expect, she and Drita are still not speaking following their explosive season-ending blow-up, but Drita admits she is sorry for the way things escalated: “Physical violence isn’t going to solve anything, and I think it’ll make it worse, so I’m mad at myself that I allowed that. That’s me, that’s my temper, but I want to change that about me and I’m not happy it happened. Karen and I don’t really talk right now,” but Drita is still friends with Renee and Carla Facciolo, of course.
The ladies also divulge they were picked up for a Season Two and will begin filming very soon. As for what to expect, according to Carla even the cast doesn’t know: “You know what, I don’t even know what to expect yet, but I am excited about it. It’s weird because when we ended off, that [fight] happened with Drita and Karen, and I just want everything to try and like get back to normal in Season Two so everybody can just hang out and be happy again and be friends and have a good time!” Well, don’t hope for that too much or you definitely won’t be doing a Season Three!
Drita has some news though for Season Two – something major is on the horizon: “For me, you can expect a huge life change, an event. It’s going to be shocking, probably.” All my bets are on D-I-V-O-R-C-E based on some interesting posts via her Facebook page. If you recall, Drita discovered on the finale episode that her husband Lee D’avanzo had cheated on her.
Drita posted the following on July 2, “I just wrote Lee a letter~ sayn now your ho can send packages and visit you…hope she can keep her legs closed while your away too. Good Luck Asshole.” And on June 29, she hinted about a possible break up. “I think breakups ae like a broken mirror. You’ll probably hurt yourself more by trying to put it back together. Get a new mirror!” Season 2 should be interesting!
And speaking of Drita, she will doing something new for reality stars – hawking her own product: “I have a cosmetics line coming out. I’ve always been in the field of make-up [and] I’ve modeled, so all these things now I can do.”
The Mob Wives Reunion will air July 10th on Vh1 at 8pm.

So will watch Season Two of Mob Wives? Do you think Drita will divorce Lee while he’s in prison?
It’s the bleeping finale of Mob Wives, and I know you’re all just as excited as I am! Carla is worried about what will happen now that Joe is out of prison, and Renee revels in her new-found Junior-free freedom. But who cares about that? Drita and Karen Throw. It. Down. in a scene that makes Tamra Barney throwing her sis and desist letter in Jeana Keogh’s face look like two pals hugging after a picnic with unicorns and kittens. It’s fabulous.
Karen Gravanocalls her ex-boyfriend and baby daddy Dave to talk about her recent time in Staten Island. He tells her not to get caught up in the drama and to keep doing what she’s doing in regard to her book because, you know, “haters gonna hate.” Is Dave an alias for The Situation? Because he sounds a lot like Mike Sorrentino. Karen expresses regret that her daughter is still in Arizona and asks Dave if he’d ever consider coming back to New York. The pair seems to be positively working on their relationship.
Renee Grazianoheads to her therapist, and she seems genuinely happy that Junior is out of her house and out of her life. Her therapist looks a tad skeptical…can you blame her? Therapy has taught Renee how to manage her temper and pick her battles. She feels very “centered.” Perhaps she should pass her therapist’s contact information on to Drita.

After a very successful first season, the finale of Mob Wivesairs tonight on VH1.
One word to describe it? Explosive! On the finale episode, we will finally get to witness the widely reported fight between former friendsDrita D’avanzoand Karen Gravano. The tension between the two ladies stems from Drita both dating and marrying Lee, whom Karen dated for 7 years and lived with. Drita is also upset with Karen for including her past with Lee in the book she’s writing.
Drita and Karen have spent the entire season trying to resolve their issues but things come to ahead tonight when Drita also accuses Karen of sleeping with her ex-boyfriend… while she was still dating him! Wowzers. In the preview below, Karen steps up during the argument which leads Drita to attack her.
Fast forward to today and it appears things are still very bad between the ladies. In a recent interview they both slammed each other with Karen calling Drita a “ho” and Drita calling Karen “two-faced.”
However it appears Drita is now willing to mend things. During the cast’s season finale party last night in Manhattan, Drita told Silive that she is not happy about her fight with Karen. “I’m not happy the way the show ended,” said Drita, “but I have no animosity. I hope we can move forward.”
Meanwhile, VH1 announced last month that the Mob Wives will return for a second season! Also, the reunion show was filmed this Thursday and will air July 10th.

The finale airs 8/7c on VH1. A preview clip is below -
As you recall, on this past episode, Karen is writing a tell-all book and Drita is concerned that she plans to tell a lot about Drita’s jailed husband Lee D’avanzo. In an effort to placate Drita’s worries, Karen gave her the first chapter of her book. Instead of reading it, Drita revived their past feud.
In a recent interview, Drita explains, “When she handed me the chapter, at first I was like that’s good because I was glad that she accomplished something. [However] I really wish she wouldn’t be sharing with me because I don’t really trust her. I didn’t know if she was giving it to me like, ‘Here read it b*tch.’ She’s been so ballsy and two-faced that I don’t know.”
Karen however states she had good intentions in giving Drita the chapter, “My intent to give her that chapter was extending the olive branch because I wanted her to feel comfortable.” Of course, instead of ending it there, Karen feels the need to elaborate. “I felt like Drita and I put the past behind us. We’re not war over Lee. We are in a war over Drita being a fake a*s b*tch. I told her how I felt as a friend, I want move past it. What Drita really is upset about is that she has to admit she’s a ho and she doesn’t want to admit that. Drita doesn’t want to admit what she did so she keeps trying to make excuses about me being here.”
Oh but there’s more. Karen continues, “She has one thing that her and her husband are petrified that I’m going to say. They’re automatically getting defensive. They’re real paranoid about what I’m going to say because maybe her husband has secrets that he’s trying to hide — and it isn’t criminal secrets because I don’t put people’s criminal secrets out there.”
Drita agrees that she believed the woman had worked to put the past behind them, so she was astonished to hear some of the things Karen said about her on the show, things which I will not repeat here, because it’s just a lot of bleeping bleeps. “I’m so disappointed that she went this far, this route — disappointed that she approached the whole situation in this way. She came in on a mission to have a fight with me and with plans to embarrass me and my family. Just abuse me, this is what her goal was. To me it didn’t seem like she gave two sh*ts if we were friends or not because she made that clear,” said Drita.
Needing the last word, Karen brings out the big guns…literally. “Drita says she wants to go to war with me? I’ve got soldiers and cannons and they’re pointing right at you. I don’t know what you’re going to do because I won’t lose this battle. [And] I have a way bigger story than she could ever have.” And there you have it folks.
In other, less bleeping heated, Mob Wives news, Renee Grazianohas found someone new after politely kicking her husband Junior Pagan to the curb. She reveals to HollywoodLife, “I was very disappointed and disgusted that once again I allowed someone to walk in and take what didn’t belong to them, which is my heart.”
Moving on with a new life includes moving on with a new man. “I’ve gone on a date — I actually went out with him Friday night. It went smoothly. He’s amazing.” According to Renee, he’s a successful business man and former professional athlete. In fact, even her ex Junior approves. “He met Junior and I the same day 17 years ago and then Junior and I left each other 12 years ago. I’ve always liked him and he’d never go out with me because of Junior and finally Junior spoke to him last week and said it’s fine with him if him and I went out together. We are friends, it’s nothing more than that just now. [But] it feels nice.”
And how does Renee’s son AJ feel about his mom getting back into the dating game? He says, “I was proud of her. I was happy that she finally moved on. She’s growing up.”
On Sunday’s Mob Wives, Take This Book and Shove It, things are relatively calm, but a storm is brewing. Carla Facciolo’s husband is finally a free man, while Drita D’avanzo can’t figure out when Lee will be joining her on the outside. Renee struggles with her destructive relationship with Junior, and Karen fancies herself a James Patterson and can’t figure out why frenemy Drita won’t serve as her editor.
“Celebrate good times, come on!” Joe is being released from the slammer after just six years of incarceration (mere minutes compared to the other ladies’ husbands and fathers). Carla grabs her Louis Vuitton luggage (oh, and the twins) and heads out in her Mercedes SUV to collect Joe from prison. I was curious about the luggage until I found out Joe isn’t coming home but heading to a halfway house. Yeah, nothing says pass the shower soap like the dude in the halfway house using his wife’s designer bag after serving time for organized crime.

Following a one week hiatus, the Mob Wivesreturned last night with a much calmer episode. Let’s face it, any episode that doesn’t involve a brawl is a calm one for these ladies! Carla deals with the impending release of her husband from prison, Drita handles some scumbags (raccoons), Karen deals with the backlash from her mob non tell-all, and Renee finally admits what we knew all along — she’s still not over Junior.
The episode begins with Renee and Carla meeting up for some drinks and eats. And err weren’t these two ladies just trying to kill each other an episode ago? Carla reads my mind as she states she has simply decided to let bygones be bygones. Renee brings up dating once again, and once again the topic of that convo goes back to Junior. Renee reveals she wants a “big jaw, strong,” man aka Junior. Carla wonders why she always keeps going back to Junior and Renee denies still being in love with him. We don’t believe you Renee! We also find out Renee and Carla have known each other since their teenage years, so why does one lady look much older than the other?
