Last night's episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey was about reinventing the old and making it new again. Make new frienemies, but keep the old… one is faux marble and the other is faux leopard!

Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita made up and by that I mean they vowed not to appear at anymore reunions wearing dresses where the sequins turned into poison darts and and scream cheating accusations at each other's husbands. So by making amends they decided to keep each other's secrets…

Oh and Jacqueline shed her old stripper skin in favor of some new skin that didn't have washed up tacky tattoos on it. When did getting plastic surgery become a requisite Housewives storyline?

Things begin with Teresa and Jacqueline continuing with their "tawk". Jacqueline is clearly flustered because she forgot her translucent powder and her blotting papers. Girl was shiny as a gold lame and her hair was all mussed. Maybe she and Teresa had some sort of knock-down, drag-out, rolling on the table brawl and the footage was accidentally damaged when some Fabellini got tossed on it and that's why we didn't see it? That would explain Jacq's shininess…

Things certainly seem to be in downward spiral for Real Housewives of New Jersey's Teresa Giudice.  Not only are she and Juicy facing potential decades in prison for multiple counts of fraud, but now Tre's empire could be crumbling around her.  Not only that, she's now being replaced at local meet-and-greets by her family members.  Ouch!

The Christian Post is reporting on the fate of Teresa's many business ventures.  The CEO of Youthful8 which owns Tre's Milania Collection hair care products reveals that he was shocked by the indictments.  He shares, "I will be meeting with Teresa within the next few days to better understand the impact the pending trial will have on her, her family and specifically our brand.  Based on that discussion, we will determine the next steps for The Milania Collection and whether she is the right person to continue to endorse the brand."

Last night's Real Housewives of New Jersey was all very…orange.  From Caroline Manzo's hair as she bossed around her family and tried broker a treaty between Jacqueline Laurita and Teresa Giudice to Joe Gorga's billboard extravaganza, orange was definitely the color scheme.  Thankfully, it's a color I like.  What I don't like is all the underhanded quips and lack of accountability, but I've learned that behavior is par for the course with this crowd!

Melissa Gorga takes her boys to visit Joe at the job site and he gets a call asking him to model on a tanning salon billboard. Mel doesn't want to join him in his highway advertising debut because Tre once did a commercial for the same salon. What a throwback!  Melissa doesn't want Teresa to assume she's copying her yet again.  She's content just to drive the bulldozer. All of the bouncing and shrieking and "make it stop" is probably something Joe is used to hearing in the bedroom.

Teresa is hosting the first family dinner in ages. She has her girls help her prepare the table, and they are excited to see their cousins. Teresa asks the always entertaining Melania if she plans to cook for her husband when she grows up.  Um no.  Melania's husband will definitely be cooking for her.

There are two things the ladies of Real Housewives of New Jersey love: an opulent party and the inside of a courtroom! Lucky for Teresa Giudice - she gets to experience both. And she's not the only one! With bankruptcies (and rumors of them) galore, the ladies make no effort to stifle their spending.

With news of Teresa and Joe Giudice being indicted for money fraud this week we thought we’d explore the fabulicious (and fabulously over-the-top) events of the RHONJ.

So last night's episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey was, dare I say it, fun! And positive. I was clearly watching the wrong show. Or I fell into the Twilight Zone.

While Teresa Giudice and Poison are practicing their "I Feel" statements with Dr. V in the anti-psychotic chamber, the rest of the crew (with Caroline Manzo now in attendance!) is discussing Jacqueline Laurita. Yes, Teresa blames Jacqueline for the Mayan Calendar failing to drop a house on Melissa Gorga's head. And yes, Jacqueline blames Teresa for her spontaneous combustion which left nothing but some wine corks and a pile of old tweets on Chris' pillow.

So anyway, Jacqueline is here in spirit. Evil spirit!

After Dr. V convinces Teresa and Poison they need to like spend time together not arguing and everyone hugs, Melissa comes in. I was really confused about when Tammy Faye Baker was cast on RHONJ, but there she was sitting there with Dr. V and Poison tearing up and refusing to take responsibility for anything. Huh… OH – wait – that was just Teresa with the worst, most ridiculous eye makeup ever. Seriously, she is so much prettier without the crazy eyelashes and the bad weave.

You know, I have mad respect for how hard the ladies of the housewives' franchise work.  When they aren't filming drama-licious episodes, they are on a constant media tour, touting their products, and giving a whirlwind of interviews.  Of course, we all know that no housewife is on her game more than Real Housewives of New Jersey's Teresa Giudice, and you have to give her mad respect for that!

Speaking to Out In Jersey, Tre dishes on everything from her favorite dishes (what a segue!) to her family dramz.  Of her latest cookbook Fabulicious On The Grill, Teresa opines, "It's really refreshing right?! This book is all about eating clean, and exercising of course. You are what you eat, people need to get that by now," adding, "I've been exercising for the past two seasons and it's been great, they really go hand in hand. I cook the way you see in the book, simple and easy, and always with fresh ingredients. That's really what people need to understand, it doesn't have to be fancy. You can make a great meal with fresh and simple ingredients."

Teresa also reveals that she's always had a passion for cooking, and she hopes that her girls will share her love of all things culinary.  She says, "I'm first generation Italian, it's definitely what I love to do. The cooking, the cleaning, all of the traditional things like that, like the old days. I really think that the new generation loses that, and it's really important. Those are the things that were instilled in me, like keeping a good house and having old school values. I want my daughters to do these things for their families, which is what really inspired me to do the books. It's a memoir for my daughters to have for the future."

It's no shock to any of  you that the drama was front and center on last night's Real Housewives of New Jersey when the retreat that Teresa Giudice organized turned into a Joe Boxer situation with Poison Gorga battling brother-in-law Juicy Giudice.  Kathy Wakile has her own take on what's gone down thus far this season, and she's talking to OK about the craziness.

Discussing how it's hard to re-watch the drama after the fact, Kathy explains, "It scratches the surface again and that hurt keeps coming up. It’s hard to watch it because you’re like, ‘Oh my God—that’s what we look like.’ Sometimes it’s about the hurt and not about the actions that make is so bad. And we’ve come so far that you don’t want that to suck you back in."

She adds, "You have to rise above it and say, ‘Okay, I’m glad I’m not there anymore.’ It’s easy to add negativity because you now see what the other party was saying and you can easily start saying things and falling into that trap. You start reliving those patterns so you’re really not in a better place if you allow yourself to do the same things. Then you really haven’t learned anything."
