Kathy Wakile

Rumors about Real Housewives of New Jersey casting have been abound ever since Andy Cohen admitted the show needs some "adjustments"

Of course, Kathy "Wallpaper" Wakile, whose presence at the reunion was negligible and whose storyline this season focused on how she doesn't get any attention and no one appreciates her, is probably not returning for season 6. At least not as an official Housewife!

So Real Housewives of New Jersey happened, and it wasn't so bad, right?! I mean we've seen worse - way, way worse

So let's talk about what happened. Andy Cohen has obviously been watching a lot of old episodes of 20/20 and he put on his hard-hitting interviewer costume to ask all the really deep questions we've been obsessively tweeting him for seasons. A sign of end times? Also everyone behaved like an adult for the most part. Probably because three-fourths of the people on that stage aren't coming back next season and had nothing to lose or gain. I personally enjoy Jacqueline Laurita much better when her sequins are flying out of her seat and shimmering with rage.

Was Kathy Wakile even there? I wouldn't have even noticed her except she was rocking a low-rent version of Melissa Gorga's blackout eyes that she was sporting all season. It was so much black she looked like a panda bear. Speaking of pandas, since the government shutdown I can't watch the baby panda cam on the National Zoo website. Get it together federal government! Get it together Kathy's makeup team!

2013 AMA Nominees Announcement

Oh the perks of being the sister of wallflower.  Real Housewives of New Jersey's Kathy Wakile may get lost in the fray of drama, but sister Rosie Pierri knows how to milk her Bravolebritydom.

Case in point? Rosie has been tapped to co-host the red carpet pre-show for the American Music Awards with none other than Lance Bass on November 24th. At last week's nominations ceremony, Rosie put in her two cents about the mounting legal woes faced by Teresa Giudice and husband (and Rosie sidekick) Juicy.

It's time to bid farewell to season five of The Real Housewives of New Jersey as part 2 (the final one!) of the reunion airs tonight.  Teresa Giudice, Jacqueline Laurita, Melissa Gorga, Caroline Manzo and Kathy Wakile gather 'round Andy Cohen for one last evening of rehashing, reminiscing and tissue dabbing.

This has been a wild, sometimes repetitive, and completely drama-filled season for the Housewives.  We've seen (or at least read about) touching moments, cheating rumors, friendship rekindling, and epic brawls (but sadly only heard second hand accounts of flying sinks).  We've also had a lot of off-screen drama, with the most scandalous being Teresa and Joe's federal indictment and the civil lawsuit brought on by the Posche 2 fight and topped off with a little book controversy

What will season 6 bring? Andy Cohen admits that the show needs an overhaul, but who knows what that means in Andy's world.  Well, let's get through season 5 first and then we'll tackle season six and all of its casting rumors!

We haven't even watched part 2 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion yet, but Teresa Giudice assures us that this one is her favoritest of all five reunions so far!

Teresa hopped on her blog this week to talk family healing (I want to gouge my eyes out every time I see that phrase this season) and to call out co-stars Caroline Manzo and Kathy Wakile on things they said. She also dishes on her new dessert and coffee line and reiterates that things are great with her family right now.

First, Teresa professes her love for the least worst reunion of all time.  And also declares crazy table flipper Teresa as a thing of the past.  "Of all the Reunions I've ever been to, this one was the best. I know that's like saying something is the best worst, because the Reunions are never fun. They are brutal, long, and everyone ends up frazzled. But compared to other years, I guess what I'm most proud of is how I didn't let other people upset me. That old table-flipping Teresa is long gone. I've learned a lot by watching myself on television, and I hope I've changed for the better. We're all works in progress and we'll all keep growing."

We here at Reality Tea love a good Housewives conspiracy! So let's discuss the latest mess circulating around Real Housewives of New Jersey

All season long there has been a ton of speculation about how Johnny The Greek and Penny Karagiorgis not only appeared on the scene but seemed to have so. much. inside. information. about everyone! But most specifically, Melissa Gorga! All fingers pointed to Teresa Giudice, our intrepid Melissa-hatin' Housewife. But perhaps, just perhaps, there was a lurking saboteur that was actually the mad pot stirrer of the RHONJ universe: Kathy Wakile! Is she Wallpaper no more?

After last night's reunion during which Teresa was prepped for federal court testimony grilled again about where Penny came from, Teresa allegedly re-tweeted an article pointing out that it is actually KATHY who has "The Grk" connection. I never saw Teresa's tweet, so I'm going by the rumor-mill here. The connection? Kathy's daughter Victoria happens to be be BFF with Johnny's niece a girl named Marigo Mihalos

Last night was the first part of the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion. Right off the bat the vibe was immediately much different than last years – which was awesome. Teresa Giudice seemed relaxed-ish and confident. Jacqueline Laurita had great hair. And Caroline Manzo's head wasn't smoking. So yay for progress. Everyone was very orange though, but you know it could've been my TV.

Andy Cohen jumps right in. It's clear that some people really either took to heart the therapy and forgiveness, while others cannot and will not let go. Maybe some people really do value their friendships over a show, or maybe it's because they're leaving they want to go out on a good note – whatever.

Caroline has definitely decided that since she is officially done with this show, it's time to get. honest. And getting honest means calling Melissa Gorga out! Caroline points out that Melissa and Teresa are eerily similar in many ways. While Teresa blinks profusely and thinks carefully about what the word "similar" means, Melissa gets combative and denies, denies, denies! "We're nothing alike. If we were alike, we'd be able to get along," she insists. Melissa insists that at their core she and Teresa are different people. Good thing she cleared that up cause on the surface they're both materialistic, self-absorbed, attention whores! And at their core, they're both rotten!

The Real Housewives of New Jersey - Season 5

Tonight is the beginning of the official end to season 5 of The Real Housewives of New JerseyTeresa Giudice, Caroline Manzo, Kathy Wakile, Jacqueline Laurita and Melissa Gorga gather up one last time to hash out the ups and downs of the season.

From the look of the previews, we'll be getting some rehashes of the cheating rumors, the Posche drama (what's allowed legally anyway!), refreshers on the therapy retreats, and even touching a bit on the Joe & Teresa fraud charges

We initially thought the reunion was going to be another three part extravaganza like last year, but it's actually only two this time around – with a twist.  The reunion shows will run 90 minutes each instead of one hour.
