As the resident ‘Southern belle” of theReal Housewives of Atlanta series, you will never catch Phaedra Parks looking “tore up, from the floor up!” Phaedra is never sans war paint and is always beat from head-to-toe whenever she steps foot out of her door, so why would ANYONE think this diva would attend a luncheon without a stitch of makeup?
Well even though series newbie, Kim Fields, meant well when she wanted her castmates to partake of her hospitality au natural, not everyone was game. Since Phaedra understands her Atlanta gal pals, she says that a few of her series co-stars tend to be ‘hypersensitive’ and might have taken Kim’s well intentions the wrong way.
But first, Cynthia weighed in on the debate over Kim‘s beatless brunch. “I was not personally offended or insulted by Kim’s ‘beatless brunch’ concept and felt her intentions were coming from a good place. However, I understand why some of the other ladies may have felt differently,” she said. “In my opinion the true definition of natural beauty is defined by more than minimal or no makeup, which is just one of many components.”
When all-around Real Housewives of Atlanta’s peacekeeper Kim Fields threw her well-intentioned ‘beatless brunch,’ she certainly never would have guessed that her reality show castmates would make such a stink about the gathering. Well leave it to her beat-faced crew of hoity-toity divas to pretty much make a mockery of the newbie’s attempts at an au natural affair.
Love her or hate her, The Real Housewives of Atlantastar Kenya Moore doesn’t mince words or worry about being too harsh when talking about her co-stars. Kenya just lets the fur fly when it comes to sharing her opinions on the weekly episodes and we love her for it. This week she puts Kim Fields on blast and throws a little shade Phaedra Parks’ way.
Kenya starts off her blog this week explaining why she thinks Kim is too negative about her RHOA co-stars. “We’ve seen Kim speak about the “group” in a negative way before. She told Phaedra that everyone had their breasts out at my Kenya Moore Hair Care launch party and she “missed class,” thereby calling us classless or trashy. She quipped before that we all looked like we were always on a red carpet and she often makes disapproving faces and comments while she is with us.”
It seems reality series villainess,Kenya Moore, the co-star of Bravo’sReal Housewives of Atlantahas quite a bit to smile about these days. The dramatic diva just celebrated her 45th birthday recently and received two of the cutest little poochies on four paws, but who was the giver? Well it seems, Ms. Moore is perhaps playing footsies these days with none other than her beefcake personal trainer on the reality series, Matt Jordan, alias “Mr. Muscles” and the proof is on Instagram pics! “Mr. Muscles,” she reveals on her social media account is the thoughtful giver of the adorable doggies.
Last night on Real Housewives Of Atlanta the ladies were supposed to remove their makeup to reveal the natural beauty underneath. Perhaps realizing they actually don’t have any of that quality stuff, everyone kept their false eyelashes firmly adhered and batted their eyes shadily.
Kim Fields is starting to getting into the groove of the group, although they still scare the bejesus out of her with their non-mom lives of Louboutins, Louis, and liquored-up shade. Kim decides to put everyone on the an equal playing field, or maybe get to know them better as people, by hosting something she dubs a “Beatless Brunch.” Everybody knows the ladies of Atlanta rarely beat around the bush!
Happy Birthday to Kenya Moore! The Real Housewives of Atlanta star is celebrating her 45th birthday today. We’ve got a fun roundup of flashback photos of Kenya down below. But first up, we have Kenya’s thoughts on last week’s episode of RHOA. Kenya explains some more about her conversation with her aunt and the strained relationship with her birth mother.
On that argument with her beloved Aunt Lori, “I have always considered my aunt to be the most compassionate member of my mother’s family. However, when it comes to my treatment from them, rarely has she or anyone else said or done anything that is sensible, rational, or logical. It’s disturbing, because they all seem crazy to me. I never would have dreamed that she would take that stance and place blame on me for knocking on my mother’s door. I had every right to knock on her door or even knock it down to get answers.”
