Even though the Real Housewives of Atlanta season six reunion still has two more episodes to air, Porsha Stewart is MIA after taking down Kenya Moore. And rumors are circulating that she's gone for good.
This should come as no surprise for those of you who watched the catfight on the first reunion show that aired Sunday night. The much anticipated brawl between Porsha and her foe Kenya Moore, caused Andy Cohen to send the recent divorcée home early. After all of that went down, she has yet to reappear — except for that glamorous mug shot — with rumors circulating she's leaving one reality show for another.
While Kenya was was owning the stage with her scepter and bullhorn, everyone, including Porsha, was giggling. Well, no one was laughing when Porsha lost her cool and went after Kenya. I doubt Porsha was laughing either when she was booked for assault.
Let's just get this out of the way right at the beginning: Porsha Stewart did in fact live up to the hype. She dragged Kenya Moore across that Real Housewives of Atlantareunion stage by her hair like she was a battery-operated real live pageant doll. The queen is down – off with her head! I was shocked. I was stupefied. I literally had flashbacks of my childhood [illicit] Dynasty watching days. Alexis Carrington lives again. Hey – there were just as many sequins flying.
Shockingly no one lost a garment – except Cynthia Bailey whose entire boob popped out as she leaped up to avoid the fight. Andy Cohen claims he was trying to stop things, but let's be frank he's less than useless. He was afraid. He was like a little yappy dog barking on the periphery of two big dogs going head to head. Boy – have several seats. Go ask NeNe Leakesto hold you in her lap, stroke your head, and tell you it's OK. Poor Andy – his own monster is turning on him. It's eating him alive.
So that happened. And it was not unprovoked. It was not all together unwarranted, but it was totally unacceptable. And at the very least, we learned that either Kenya has the best weave in the world or we just got confirmation that is real hair.
Of course Andy Cohen has a lot to say about the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion brawl. Despite the fact that he instigates it by casting insane people and encouraging them to act outrageously for ratings sake!
“The other women felt Kenya provoked her a bit…I was so shocked and surprised,” Andyrecounted. “I don’t want that to happen. I think it’s gross. And I think it just totally inappropriate. It’s wrong. It’s not entertaining. It’s just bad.”
It has been a rough few weeks for the RHOA star. First she gets a beating — or at least Kandi Burruss declared her the loser — at the taping of the hit reality show's reunion. Then Kenya was accused of faking her beloved dog Velvet's death to get attention on the finale. Now she is accused of bad girl behavior on Celebrity Apprentice — and this might actually be a worse allegation — becoming tight with Kate Gosselin.
Porsha Stewart was recently served an arrest warrant for misdemeanor assault as a result of her scuffle with Kenya Moore. Footage shows Porsha launching at Kenya first but ONLY after Kenya repeatedly provoked her with "props" like sticking some sort of princess wand in her face and shouting her down with a bullhorn. Porsha is attempting to sway the DA to charge Kenya with a felony count of aggravated assault for her role in the incident. As a result of the brawl Porsha has reportedly been fired from RHOA.
"It was no love at the reunion," Kandilaughed. "It caught us off-guard – we had no clue that was about to happen. I mean, I just really thought they were gonna do a lil arguing and that would be that… I never in a million years thought that Porsha would mollywhop her."
Last night Bravo was up to some chicanery – telling us Real Housewives of Atlanta's finale was an hour and a half and then tacking on some sit-down special with NeNe Leakes for the last 30 minutes. I have to admit NeNe basically ripping up Cynthia Bailey's friendship contract and making it acid rain all over the WWHL stage was far more entertaining than any old memorial for Kenya Moore's dog on what looked like Chateau Sheree's dirt patch vacant grounds.
So anyway, Kandi Burruss and Todd have been through a lot in their relationship, most prevalently they have dodged the mighty weave-wearing bullet of Mama Joyce and her Wal-mart wedges being thrown at them from all angles. Now that they've done a MJ exorcism by developing the play A Mother's Love together, it's time to talk prenup. Kandi wants one and wants one she shall have – so long as the requests are reasonable according to Todd. Basically both parties leave with what they came in with and split everything they accrued together down the middle.
