In her blog, Cynthia celebrates her move to the lake house and wonders why things got “so dramatic” at Phaedra Parks’ dinner. Cynthia begins by discussing her time as Kandi Burruss’ house guest: “I had a really fun time staying with Kandi. Although she didn’t seem that happy to see me when me (and my Fruit Loops) first I arrived at her house, we ended up having the best time. We spent hours laughing, talking, and watching movies.”
I was wondering which Housewife was going to bring the term “alternative facts” into play first, but I just didn’t think it would happen this soon. Kenya Moore went in on her mortal enemy Sheree Whitfield for the comments that she made about Kenya “antagonizing” Matt Jordan‘s violent behavior.
Normally I love it when Sheree and Kenya beef. They usually both cross the line pretty equally so it all comes out in the wash and ends up being pretty hilarious, but I feel like Sheree was definitely in the wrong with this one. Since when does someone getting violent the victim’s fault? That’s like me blaming for Sheree’s behavior for Bob Whitfield skipping out on years of child support. It. Makes. No. Sense.
Kandi Burruss is getting a lot of heat this season for sharing her opinions, but I feel like it’s about time she opens up after staying quiet for so long. Don’t get me started on her Kandi Koated Clique, but I do think she is usually in the right when it comes to standing up to Phaedra Parks and Porsha Williams. And to be honest, Porsha was out of control during the last episode when she went off against Kandi and Kenya Moore. It sure does not seem like Porsha stuck with those anger management classes.
Kandi doesn’t seem to care about that drama though. I feel like she’s just on RHOAto collect her check and promote her many products. And now that her daughter Riley Burruss is following her musical foot steps, Kandi probably doesn’t have the time for Porsha and her desperate reaches to create story lines. Don’t even get me started on her “relationship” this season. But since Kandiis a Real Housewife, she’s basically required to share her opinions on what goes down and that includes Porsha’s anger issues.
Well, Real Housewives Of Atlanta started out nicely, didn’t it? Of course, after Jesus fixed things up nice, it went straight down to hell in a hand basket over dinner! Get your prayer cloths and holy water to the fires, y’all!
I, for one, loved seeing Phaedra Parks and Kenya Moore get their glamour and their good intentions on to drive to Detroit in a vintage convertible, letting the shade fly out the window like one of Kenya’s alleged weaves. Phaedra and Kenya are about to spend a week roughing it with children affected by the Flint water crisis at summer camp.
We watched Cynthia say goodbye to her first Atlanta home as she prepared to move on to her lake home. Despite having a gorgeous new place lined up (eventually), she gets nostalgic over leaving it behind. “It was very difficult to pack up my old home. It is the only home that Noelle and I have ever known since our move to Atlanta from New York City almost nine years ago. There is so much history and memories in that house. I actually teared up watching the flashbacks. I didn’t think I would be so emotional. Noelle was excited about the move until it was actually time to move. Then she started to get all sentimental on me. She was eight years old when we moved to Atlanta, and now she is seventeen. Noelle grew up in that house.”
Speaking to blogger Love B Scott, they go deep into the psychology of Matt, and how it compares to Kenya’s situation with her mom, plus why she thinks some Housewives have SERIOUSLY crossed the line this season! “Honesty is key and I learned that very early on. You cannot fake for the cameras,” advises Kenya. “The cameras will see whatever it is.”
On Kenya’s “shit-show with Matt“: (as termed by Love B Scott.), Bravo only found out about Matt’s behavior the first time he broke the Moore Manor garage window. She first experienced his anger in Mexico, when they were dating for over a year.
Phaedra Parks and Kenya Moore coming together for the good of the children?! Well, I never! The former enemies bonded over the water crisis in Flint, MI, and over absolutely insane relationships, and learned some surprising things about each other. As always, both Shady Phae-Phae and Krayonce are more than meets the eye! The Real Housewives Of Atlanta stars discuss their strange new ways in their latest blogs.
First up, Phaedra says she was “not surprised” that Kenya reached out to her for advice on the MATT SMASH! situation because.”It is no secret that my relationship with my former husband had and still has its challenges.”
I don’t get why Sheree Whitfield was excluded from Real Housewives of Atlanta for three seasons. She always knew how to stir up drama and throw the best shade, so it made no sense to me. Sheree has had some of the shadiest one-liners over the years so I’m happy to have her back full time.
Back in the day, most of Sheree’s barbs were directed at her frienemy NeNe Leakes, but nowadays, Sheree reserves her best insults for nemesis Kenya Moore. Whether you are talking about OG Sheree or this Season 9 version, I have always lived for the shade by Sheree – even when I don’t agree with her actual sentiments, I can’t help admitting that she’s usually hilarious.
