I am so glad I haven't been holding my breath about VH1 cancelling Baseketball Wives in light of all the drama surrounding Evelyn Lozada and the recent firings of Jennifer Williams, Kesha Nichols, and Royce Reed.  Who wants to watch an hour of just Shaunie O'Neal flaring her nostrils?  Not this girl!

There is always speculation about switch-ups in the cast, and I'm sure this won't be the last rumor we hear regarding new "wives" joining the show.  The latest news is that Tasha Marbury will be joining the ladies for the upcoming season, and–are you sitting down?–she's actually the wife…of a basketball player!  Crazy, right?

TMZ is reporting that Tasha is already friends with some of the other ladies (cough, cough Evelyn!), and she is married to former NBA player Stephon Marbury.  According to sources, she was approached in the past about appearing on the show, but Stephon was not onboard with his wife's life playing out on television.

Of course, that was back when Stephon was ballin' in the NBA, and now he is playing basketball in Asia.  Stephon lives part time in China playing for the Bejing Ducks, and the same insiders say that now he isn't opposed to his wife joining the show.  Funny how those things change!

The couple has been married since 2002, and if this rumor is correct, there will be one less space to fill.  As of now, Evelyn hasn't decided if she is going to return.  Sure…

Rumors have been swirling about the cast of next season’s Basketball Wives.  Have Jenn Williams, Kesha Nichols, and Royce Reed been handed their walking papers?  While Jenn and Kesha have remained mum on the gossip, both Royce and producer/Queen Bee Shaunie O’Neal have taken to twitter (where else?) to add their two cents.  Deny, deny, deny!  Shocking, I know.

After the news broke, Royce tweeted,  “This is so entertaining!!! Gotta love TMZ!”

Shaunie chose to respond in a manner that didn’t really answer any definitive questions.  It’s not surprising, knowing how well she’s mastered the ability to double talk.  She responded to a follower’s question about the firings by saying, “Let’s just say… I will not entertain anything but the truth hence me not replying 2 this RUMOR of the day.”  So…what you’re saying is?

TMZ is standing by its story, now claiming that while the cast cuts did in fact happen, Shaunie was just as surprised to learn the news.  Sources close to the producer tell the site that she was floored to learn about the learn about the firings.  The insiders say that Shed Media has continuously left Shaunie out of the loop after she expressed her disdain for all the brawling and violence portrayed on the show.  Shaunie has even told Shed that she’s not afraid to walk away from the show entirely.  Call me cynical, but I can’t help but think that these “sources” are nothing more than additional Shaunie damage control.

The same site is also reporting that Nia Crooks’ attorney has filed a response to Jennifer’s lawsuit regarding the slap heard ’round VH1.  Documents filed claim that Nia’s slap was “caused in whole or in part by the culpable conduct, carelessness, contributory negligence or assumption of risk of [Williams].”  Basically Nia’s legal stance is that Jenn is to blame for getting herself slapped.  Bwahahaha!  I hope others who are guilty of assault start using this stellar legal defense!

As if any of you were planning to watch the fifth season of Basketball Wives, I have some breaking news that may just send you over the edge completely.  TMZ.com is reporting that three of the ladies (and yes, these may actually be considered ladies) are getting axed from the show.  While nothing has been confirmed, VH1′s official statement is, “We don’t comment on casting until everything is final. Thanks for checking in.”  However, when you hear who is getting the boot–and why–I doubt you’ll be surprised.

First to hit the road is Royce Reed.  Why?  I would say it’s obvious.  First, a lot of the women, including Queen Bee Shaunie O’Neal herself, refuse to film with Royce.  I am guessing that makes it more difficult to have a legitimate story line.  She doesn’t go on the cast trips, isn’t invited to birthday dinners, and misses out on all the bottle throwing and brawls.  Lucky.  Second, due to a gag order that has been in place since 2009, she isn’t even allowed to say the name of the basketball player to whom she was never a wife.  Sorry, Royce, but the writing seems to be on the wall for you.

Next on the chopping is block is Jennifer Williams.  Hmmm…I guess we won’t be seeing a Jenn and Evelyn Lozada reconciliation like John Salley hinted at when the reunion wrapped.  Apparently, Jenn and all her willy-nilly lawsuits for silly and trivial things (like getting punched in the face) make her too much of a liability.  I have to laugh my arse off at that rationale.  Had Evelyn’s wine bottle met Kenya Bell’s head, she could have been very seriously hurt…but that Jenn, she’s a liability!

Finally, the quiet and classy Kesha Nichols is reportedly being fired as well.  According to sources, she is just too boring for the show.  Innnnneresting…the one girl who was bullied to the max is getting her walking papers.  Me thinks that perhaps Shaunie and Shed want her out of sight and out of mind.  As long as she remains on the show, viewers will always tie her to the great Tamitahiti (or taHITya) Roman moment of season four.  Kind of makes you wonder who is whispering in Shaunie’s ear, doesn’t it?  I, for one, find it extremely telling that the three ladies who will allegedly not be returning are the ONLY three women who didn’t engage in, nor stand for, any kind of violence or intimidation.  Shaunie and Suzie Ketcham giggled when Tami went crazy, and even Kenya once removed her kitten heels hoping to brawl!  I can’t wait to hear what you, dear readers, have to say about this information!

Here’s hoping that in light of this situation, the women can find more happiness and success in other endeavors, such as acting and lip gloss.  Royce seems to taking the time to focus on other things besides her much judged relationship with the sexting Dezmon Briscoe.  She tweeted after the reunion, “I wish @Dezbriscoe89 the best but after much thought I found it 2 be n my best interest 2 walk away & focus on my career & my munchkin. Many minds have inquired about whether I’m still with Dezmon Briscoe. Let it be clear that we are not together. I’m happy and super focused!”  That’s good to hear!

Kesha also recently gave a video interview to bossip.com, where she discusses why it wasn’t necessary to respond to Tami’s tirades (she didn’t care), how the show negatively portrays black women, and why she was chosen for the show.  Kesha also voices her disappointment that none of the women, especially Shaunie, ever tried to use their influence as Tami’s friends to curb her behavior.  It’s a very well-spoken interview, and you can watch the whole thing here.

Finally, it’s almost wedding bells for Evelyn and even her even bigger media whore fiance Chad Eightnine Ochocinco Javon Johnson.  Even though he legally had his last name changed to Ochocinco, he seems to be going old school for the pair’s wedding invitations.  Please enjoy a shot of it below.  Please enlighten me about why in the bloody he!! they felt the need to put–what is that?  A brooch?  A hair comb?–that rhinestone mess on the invitation??

John Salley is back to lead us through the second installment of the Basketball Wives reunion special.  Last night’s portion proved to be more of a train wreck than the first time around which was basically just one giant PR move.  I don’t know about y’all, but I am ready to say good riddance to these “ladies” for a very long time.

John reminds us of Evelyn Lozada and Chad Ochocinco’s relationship.  Besides the Masarati, I wonder if Evelyn can watch this and not see how poorly he speaks to her.  Chad is funny and all, but she is a doormat with him!  Evelyn promotes the couple’s spin-off for a bit, happy she has the opportunity to show viewers a softer side.  John then segues into listing Royce Reed’s relationships throughout the seasons.  Of Dezmon Briscoe, Royce will only say curtly that they are doing “good.”  John reminds her of Dezmon and his baby mama’s twitter drama.  Royce says she chose to stay with him for all the things he did right instead of the one thing he did wrong.  Footage of her fight with her father is shown.  John jokes that Royce is a crybaby, and he pretty much sides with her dad while doling out his own fatherly advice.  John also shows clips from her New York acting debut that ended up on the cutting room floor.  Tami Roman reveals she was pleasantly surprised at Royce’s talent.  John touts that as quite a compliment because he believes Tami is an amazing actress.  Huh?

The craziness of Tami’s bullying and acting a fool on Kesha Nichols in Tahiti is revisited.  Funny, did you notice how they barely showed any footage of Tami yelling or raising her voice?  Tami explains that she wasn’t trying to get Kesha to fight her, she just wanted Kesha to learn how to stick up for herself.  Aww, how sweet of you, Tami!  A learning experience.  Kesha once again tries to clarify that she said “she could have gone off” not “she wanted to go off” on Tami.  She reminds Tami that she has the right to talk to Royce about her what is going on in her life, although she wishes she’d never opened her mouth to Suzie Ketcham.  Suzie is quick to cuss her way out of it, claiming that she never told Tami anything.  How stupid does she think we are?  Seriously?  Tami is quick to come to Suzie’s defense, saying she didn’t hear it from Suzie.  What a bunch of liars.  Evelyn jumps in to say that Suzie gets a bad rap.  I’ll tell you what’s bad…the fact that I can still catch Suzie’s lisp even when she’s being bleeped.

Tami acknowledges that she could have handled things differently, but she wants to know why Kesha never came to her with her complaints.  Kesha is quick to point out that if Tami had come to her as calmly as she’s doing now, they could have had a conversation about it.  Um, Kesha?  Did you not hear her the first time?  She’s ALREADY ACKNOWLEDGED she could have done it differently.  How many times are you going to make her say it.  Sheesh.  I find it extremely hypocritical that Tami keeps using that excuse while continuing to badger Kesha about why she was talking behind her back.  I think it’s pretty clear that Kesha wasn’t going to approach an insane bully with her issues.  I know, I know, Tami has already acknowledged she should have done things differently.

Tami wants Kesha to take responsibility for talking about her to “someone” who most definitely, certainly, keeping it one hundred was NOT Suzie.  Did you notice that Tami gets a round of applause when she starts talking smack to Kesha?  Who is in the audience?  Her family?  Kesha is willing to do that, but she wants Tami to know she didn’t appreciate how badly she was bullied.  Oh no, she di-int!  Tami is a lot of things, but she isn’t a bully.  She can’t be a bully, you see, because her daughters have been bullied in school (maybe about the fact that their mother is a giant bully?).  Tami thinks Kesha is confusing “bullying” with the fact that she just can’t stick up for herself.  Kesha calmly explains that she can handle herself just fine, but she’s not going to indulge Tami’s bad behavior by responding in kind.  Tami wants to remind Kesha that she did her a favor by getting her pocketbook for her.  Is she for real?  Tami isn’t a bully, she’s just boisterous.  This is just.  Too.  Much.  She’s kidding, right?  Please tell me she’s kidding.

Jenn Williams returns after taking the polygraph.  She feels a tad violated.  John reminds the ladies of the rest of the trip, and I do love Kenya Bell’s psycho stare.  Evelyn and Jenn’s conversation is rehashed, but again, notice that they didn’t show Evelyn chasing Jenn back to her bungalow screaming the whole time.  Spin it, Shed, spin it!  Shaunie O’Neal steps in to put on her producer hat, saying that they take Jenn’s law suit very seriously.  However, she would hate to see someone (read: Nia Crooks) potentially go to jail because of a mistake.  I’m sorry.  I didn’t realize punching someone in the face constituted a “mistake.”  Shaunie says, “You’ve proven your point, boo.”  Really?  Shaunie claims that Nia got reckless, much like Jenn admits to getting reckless with her words.  Shaunie isn’t doing herself or her image any favors after that little outburst.

John wants to take the tension down a notch, and he decides to show footage of his boss’ Shaunie’s daughter’s tenth birthday.  Shaunie is able to talk about how her children come first, and she hates that drama is shown more than her family time.  Balance, you know?  Shaunie thinks she can speak for all the women (wait, actually just her friends on her side of the soundstage) when she says she wishes the show focused less on the drama.  Those other ladies that Shaunie never took the time to get to know may think differently.  That’s basically what she says…in a nutshell.  Oh gracious, John gives Tami and Evelyn a big ol’ pat on the back for raising breast cancer awareness by getting a mammogram.  Please!  They had their boobs squashed between two cold metal plates and acted like it was the most painful thing ever.  This show is treating them as if they singlehandedly saved a bunch of babies and kittens from a burning building.

John has the results of the polygraph.  According to the machine, Evelyn truly believes that Jenn wrote the dreaded blog and premeditated her law suit against Nia.  However, she was lying when she said she didn’t miss their friendship.  Cue a collective awe from this horrible audience.  Jenn seems happy.  As for Jenn’s results, she wasn’t being truthful when she said she wasn’t jealous of Evelyn’s relationship with Chad, but she did admit to missing Evelyn’s friendship.  Shaunie takes the opportunity to talk some more while John reunites the former friends in a tearful and awkward hug.  Evelyn apologizes while Jenn tries her darndest to muster up some tears.

John asks Shaunie about her decision to seek advice from her pastor “last season.”  Sure, it was last season…in no way shape or form was that scene filled after viewer backlash.  Shaunie says she feels “a little” responsible for putting her friends in a situation where they could perceived negatively.  The viewers are judgmental.  Yes, exact words.  Basically part two of this reunion was the Shaunie/Ev/Tami show.  Thank goodness that Kesha called out Suzie so she was able to actually speak.  John reminds Shaunie that those who write negatively about the show have too much time on their hands.  Good to know…and here I didn’t think I had enough hours in my day to get all my work done!  Thanks, John.  Shockingly, oh so very surprisingly, in a “I totally didn’t see that coming” moment, Shaunie announces that the women will be returning for season five.

Next week, GOTCHA!  Thankfully there is no next week!  Pour me a glass of champagne! 

WHAT DID YOU THINK ABOUT THE CONCLUSION OF THE REUNION?  WERE YOU PERSUADED BY THE DAMAGE CONTROL?  WILL JENN AND EVELYN FIX THEIR FRIENDSHIP?

Good gracious, last night was the Basketball Wives Reunion, and I must say I was a tad scared to watch it.  The majority of those ladies (bwahahaha!) are seriously unhinged.  Once again, John Salley hosts the parade of crazy.  He begins by introducing the veterans–Evelyn Lozada, Tami Roman, Suzie Ketcham, and Royce Reed, followed by the newbies–Kesha Nichols and Kenya Bell.  John next touts Shaunie O’Neal as their team captain.  If nostrils looks could kill, John would be a dead man.

He announces that Jennifer Williams is backstage, and Evelyn thinks it’s for the best.  What in the world is up with her hair??  John asks Shaunie to address the violence on this season.  Is it just me or does she look like a hot pink penguin?  She hopes that all her cast mates use the show as a mirror, and she believes that each woman takes responsibility for their actions.  Sure they do!  Evelyn is always once to admit fault.  Shaunie throws around the buzz word “balance” several times before reveling in applause.

John highlights Kesha and Kenya’s start on the show.  He calls out Kenya for starting her pop career “later in life.”  They rehash the whole video fight.  I think that Kesha is going to be especially quiet tonight.  The entire Kesha/Tami debacle is revisited.  Tami is a broken record about how Kesha kept talking behind her back.  As for Tahiti, she says, “My bad.”  She apologizes for the way she went off on Kesha, but Tami won’t apologize for the message she was trying to convey. John touts her anger management for allowing her to be so eloquent, and then he shows clips of Tami’s tearful therapy sessions.  Oh please!  This reunion is going to be one giant PR stunt courtesy of Shed Media and VH1.  Thanks, Shaunie!

Guess what y’all?  Evelyn’s loose!  Basically John is going to bring up every single battle this season.  I am praying I only have to watch for an hour, but at this rate, the reunion could be days long!  All it does is remind me of how ridiculously gigantic Evelyn’s earrings always are, and there goes a wine bottle!  Evelyn tears up, saying that is the one moment she wishes she could take back out of all the seasons.  Evelyn says her (future) step-daughters thought the scene was funny, and she realizes that it wasn’t funny–and she needs to be a better example.  John offers her a tissue, but she declines.  There really aren’t any tears to wipe away!

John brings up the breakdown of Evelyn and Jennifer’s friendship.  Viewers are reminded of Evelyn’s uber-classy toast at Shaunie’s birthday dinner, following by Jenn getting purse slapped.  Evelyn thinks she is extremely loyal and didn’t get the same respect from Jennifer during interviews.  Shaunie doesn’t regret inviting them both to the dinner, as they both knew the other would be there.  Every time John even remotely pokes fun at Shaunie, I am fearful for his well-being.

Nia-gate basically hits me in the face again, but I do so love watching a barefoot Evelyn take a flying leap off of a conference table.  Evelyn thinks that Jenn is only suing Nia for attention.  Jenn is screaming from backstage.  John teases Royce about not getting tearful, and I think it’s the first time she speaks.  I hate to say it, but the lighting on that stage isn’t doing anyone but Tami any favors.  She’s the only one who doesn’t look like a wax figure.

Jenn joins the cast on stage, and Evelyn is working on some yoga breathing.  John reminds the women that they need to behave and informs the audience that Nia was invited to attend but declined on the advice of her attorney.  When John asks Jennifer if it has been easy to distance herself from this group she says yes.  She garners sneers from the studio audience when she smugly replies, “It is what it is.”  Tami and Shaunie are clearly disgusted by her.  The whole “Jenn lived with Nia” seems to be semantics between Jenn and Evelyn.  Jennifer explains her reasoning and timing about pressing charges, and she apologizes for saying the below the belt comment that Nia didn’t have anything.  John questions the double standard of pressing charges against Nia but not against her ex-husband Eric Williams when he tossed a drink in her face last season.  Tami gets on a very well-spoken soapbox about bullying and intimidation tactics that Jenn has been a part of in past seasons.  She’s a regular public service announcement.

After some goading from Shaunie about never admitting to faults, Jennifer apologizes to Evelyn for hurting her feelings.  She also apologizes to anyone else in the cast she may have wronged.  Shaunie then says that, as women on television, they all should be interested in supporting the growth of fellow cast mates, and she is proud of all that Jenn is accomplishing.  It hurts her heart to see friendships deteriorate due to the show…so much so that it’s time for her to stifle a tiny sob.  Tami interrupts to address all the overly opinionated viewers who are curious as to why Shaunie and Tami never intervened in the fights between Jenn and Evelyn.  Tami wants everyone to know that both she and Shaunie wanted them to repair their relationship.  John is tired of the women blaming the cameras.  He believes that Evelyn and Jennifer’s friendship would have likely split otherwise.

Jennifer says she was hurt by Evelyn not reaching out to her during her divorce.  I wonder if Royce and Suzie will be allowed to speak next week.  Oh yea!  Royce helps John with his vocabulary.  John reveals to the audience that Evelyn has taken a polygraph test, and he hopes that Jenn will do the same.  After agreeing, she’s escorted off stage.

Next week, Kesha speaks to Tami!  Shaunie gets on Jenn for pressing charges, and finally, some yelling!

WHAT DID YOU THINK ABOUT THE REUNION?  HOW STAGED WAS THAT WHOLE MESS?

It was the bullying heard ’round the internet (although the same could be said about the entire fourth season of Basketball Wives), and Tami Roman is still discussing her vile behavior towards cast mate Kesha Nichols when the women were vacationing in Tahiti.  Tami recently went on the Wendy Williams Show to share her side of the story.  Spin, spin, spin, ladies!

Tami begins the interview by addressing the situation and feeling badly for how she acted–or in her mind, reacted.  Basically she cites Kesha’s gossip that viewers didn’t see (isn’t that convenient?) as explanation for how she shouldn’t have been acting.  Follow?  It’s hard, I know.

Tami tries to defend herself while feeling bad for her behavior.  She tells Wendy, “It was a difficult time because the truth of the matter is I can’t let what someone is saying behind the scenes…what they’re doing…how they’re acting drive me to that level of frustration but a lot of that you guys didn’t really see.”

Tami adds, “At the end of the day the only person who I have to blame is me because I was the one who got up there and acted a pure fool — I’m openly admitting that — but I have since apologized to Kesha I have tried to take the responsibility behind my actions.”

Of course, Tami can’t leave it at an apology.  She alludes to the backlash the show has garnered from the likes of Star Jones, Nicki Minaj, and now NeNe Leakes, saying, “A lot of people sit and point the finger and start boycotts and all of this other stuff, but nobody’s stepping up to the plate to mentor to help us.”  No offense, but I don’t think these women need mentoring, they need a reality check.

“I think that everybody does you know if you turn a camera around on anybody’s life for one day everybody’s has a moment that they aren’t too proud of,” Tami admits to Wendy.

She also gets upset about the realization about how her actions affected her daughters.  Tami explains that watching herself this season has been a wake-up call for change.  She admits, “For me, I am raising my two daughters and this particular incident really taught me a valuable lesson … I wasn’t really acknowledging the platform that VH1 and Shed have offered me … I wasn’t really being responsible, you know.”

“For the first time I looked at my daughters and they weren’t really proud of their Mom and they were embarrassed of me.  They took a lot between the social media networks and everything and I said you know what it’s ridiculous that I’m on TV … I have a huge platform I should be responsible I should be accountable you know and I haven’t really been honoring that.”

I have to give Tami props for that…if in fact she is able to maintain that mindset.  So far, she’s deactivated her twitter account (although one could argue that move is more to ignore the haters), and she’s hinted that she won’t be back for BBW’s fifth season.  You’ll recall that Tami said in the finale that she was planning to move back to Los Angeles.

Perhaps she’s done with reality television for good.  She tells Wendy, “I just signed on to be a series regular for a new show, the network hasn’t made the announcement yet so I can’t really talk too much about it but you guys will see me actually doing a scripted program.”  Do we have another NeNe on our hands?

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF TAMI’S MEA CULPA?  DO YOU THINK SHE’LL RETURN TO BASKETBALL WIVES NEXT SEASON?

Finally, it’s the freakin’ finale of Basketball Wives.  I don’t know about y’all, but this season has been incredibly exhausting, and the Tahiti trip has almost made me lose my cool!

We resume the same place we do almost every week, with Evelyn Lozada mouthing off after Jenn Williams escaped into her bungalow.  Kenya Bell and Tami Roman are listening to her rants about how fake Jenn is, but I can’t take my attention off her hula hoop sized earrings.  Shaunie O’Neal sneaks away to speak with Jenn, but I love that she’s more concerned about Jenn airing the group’s dirty laundry on blogs and twitter instead of Evelyn’s erratic and violent behavior.  Why should everything be about appeasing crazy?  And I’m not a Jenn fan…I think she should let it go, and I think she is extremely and purposefully pretentious, but geez, Shaunie!  She isn’t doing anything worse than Evelyn is!

Jenn wants to know why Shaunie isn’t calling out Evelyn on her twitter tirades.  Shaunie wants the pair to get together and have a conversation before it gets to the point of no return.  Really?  I think it was there several episodes ago.  Evelyn is crying and mad that someone who was such a good friend to her can “hurt her” so badly.  Jenn tries to convince Shaunie that she’s not the only one mean tweeting (mweating?), but Shaunie glosses over anything negative about Evelyn and implores Jenn just to have a discussion with her former friend.  Jenn feels like there is no need to keep rehashing the past as she is way over their friendship.  She tells Shaunie that she believes Evelyn just wants an audience.  Kenya is the voice of reason, telling Evelyn she just needs to learn how to ignore Jenn.  Shaunie revels in her role as “mediator.”  Let’s call a spade a spade.  Shaunie is just trying to save face for this train wreck.

Shaunie relays her conversation with Jenn to Evelyn.  I just realized that Suzie Ketcham has been absent from this mix.  Fortunately for viewers, but unfortunately for poor Suz, she was bitten by an ant on her eyelid and has felt under the weather.  She recovers just in time for a dinner/gossip session with Ev, Tami, and Shaunie.  Evelyn’s version of the story to Suzie is much calmer than the actual scenario.  Basically, according to Evelyn, she approached Jenn, and Jenn walked away.  The group begins to laugh again that Kenya hasn’t figured out the fishy situation.  Thanks again, ladies, for reminding the world how hateful you each are.

It’s the ladies’ last full day in Tahiti, and Tami is over this vacation.  Apparently Tahiti is over her as well, as a bird takes the opportunity to poop on her head.  You go, bird!  Jenn decides to face the awkwardness head on, so she joins the women on the beach.  She is met with a total freeze out from the women.  I thought that Tami, Shaunie, and Suzie wanted things to get easier.  What in the hell is up with these women’s earrings?  I can’t get past them…it’s so distracting.  I mean, I like some big jewelry, but there is no need to wear a flipping basketball hoop dangling from your earlobe.  But I digress, per the usual.

Jenn asks if Evelyn would like to talk, and Evelyn tells her that she is the root of all the pair’s problems.  Evelyn accuses her of doing an interview with Sister2Sister after the Nia fallout.  Jenn says that wasn’t an interview, it was a conversation.  Tami interjects that she is biffles with the owner of Sister2Sister, and she has the transcripts of the discussion interview.  Oh, Tami, when will you learn?  Evelyn drags an uncomfortable looking Suzie into the conversation.  I love an Al Reynolds flashback.  Jenn doesn’t care about Evelyn’s vajayjay, she’s only concerned about her own.  Evelyn reminds her of the time she bleeped a bleep without a condom.  Really?  Tami jumps in that she’s offended by Jenn’s behavior and that Jenn brought all of this on herself.  Really Tami?  How is that glass house working out for you?  Evelyn ends the conversation by telling Jenn she’s a non-mutha effin factor and then excuses her from the beach.  Tough girl!  Shaunie, Tami, and Suzie sit in silence.  Shame on you all.  Back at the bungalow, Jenn gives Kenya the run-down on the beach chat and heads back to Miami.  She may have beaten Kesha Nichols‘ record for shortest stay in Tahiti.  Kenya joins her.  Suzie witnesses their exit from the pool.

At the women’s last supper, Suzie relays that Jenn and Kenya checked out and headed home. Shaunie is in shock that they would leave.  Evelyn now knows that Jenn really doesn’t want to mend their friendship.  Had she wanted to reconcile, she would have stuck around to apologize.  I am sure she really wanted to do that, Ev, after you called her a NMF factor and dismissed her like a servant.  Evelyn has brought gifts for her dearest friends…and Suzie.  It’s personalized make-up from her own line (of course it is), and Evelyn is chomping at the bit for each “lady” to read their note from her aloud.  Tami takes the opportunity to make a dig at Jenn’s make-up line.  Classy girls!

Back in Miami, Royce Reed is finally getting some air time.  She meets Tami for lunch to get her side of the story on Kesha-gate.  Royce is confused.  Tami is pissed that Kesha talked to Royce about the situation, but it’s perfectly okay for Tami to talk about it to Royce.  Can’t Kesha understand that Tami said all that in anger, so she should just let it go?  What a flippin’ hypocrite.  Now Royce is a bad friend according to Tami.  Tami can’t believe that Royce can’t see Kesha’s part in the whole Tahiti debacle.  Kesha was coughing a lot, Royce…perhaps you overlooked that!

The three mean girls and Suzie head to dinner to celebrate the season’s end.  They discuss the changes over the season, and Evelyn admits that she is no longer considering getting pregnant with Chad Ochocinco.  Tami has decided to move back to L.A. (please Shed Media, tell me she won’t be on BBW: LA!), so she can focus more on her daughters’ careers.  She reveals that Royce wasn’t a good friend to her in light of the incident with Kesha because she’s not being very neutral.  Shaunie reminds Evelyn that her friendship with Jenn is donezo as well.

Speaking of Shaunie, she is in panic mode to revamp her image in light of this past season.  She tells the camera she is drama-free, and she’s happy to be back home in L.A.  Shaunie feels the need to seek counsel from her pastor.  I can’t even…if this were at all sincere or authentic, it wouldn’t happen on camera, Shaunie.  She doesn’t understand why her friends can’t have grown up discussions to resolve their issues.  I’ve seen Shaunie’s “grown-up talks” and they always seem to stir the pot.  She reveals to her pastor that she’s ready to give up on the show.  Oh please.  She doesn’t want people to think she’s “a ghetto hot mess.”  Um…Her pastor does put her priorities in the order they should be, but it’s not what Shaunie wants to hear.  And thankfully, we are able to bid farewell to this group of hot messes…until next week’s reunion!

On the reunion, Kenya takes on Evelyn, while Kesha confronts Tami.  Cue Jenn and more drama.

It’s Basketball Wives time yet again, and last night the ladies were still stirring up drama and screaming their way around the resort.  I sincerely hope no one else is staying there on vacation!

Jenn Williams and Kenya Bell have arrived in Tahiti.  I wonder if they passed Kesha Nichols in the airport.  Jenn reminisces about her very similar honeymoon with Eric.  On the sunset cruise, Tami Roman is already starting the damage control.  She tells Evelyn Lozada and Shaunie O’Neal she wants to talk to Kesha calmly, like an adult, and hopefully they can coexist.  What a novel concept.  The women are sidetracked when the boat passes Jenn’s bungalow where she is lounging on the balcony.  Why is Tami drinking her beer through a straw?  Tami decides to try to fix the rift between Jenn and Evelyn, but there are huge loyalty issues.

Jenn meets Suzie Ketcham for lunch and big mouthed Suzie relays the story behind Kesha’s absence.  It sounds “heartbreaking” to Jenn, and Suzie agrees…she thinks Kesha is just too darn timid to handle this group.  Yes, Suzie, things are usually that cut and dry.  Suzie can’t imagine anyone would want to fight in Tahiti, and Jenn reminds her that as grown women, they really shouldn’t be fighting anywhere.  Jenn is over the drama.  She’s too busy being reminded of her honeymoon and lawyering up to feed into Evelyn’s violence.  Suzie is concerned that involving lawyers may escalate the situation.

The women return to shore to find Suzie bellied up to the bar.  Shocking!  She’s a good little minion, and she quickly spouts off her entire dinner conversation with Jenn.  The women cackle with laughter over hearing Jenn’s comments about her Maldives honeymoon, as they have already been joking about a vacation one-upper she is.  Suzie warns Shaunie that Jenn wants to meet with her to discuss the situation, and the women laugh when at the notion of Jenn’s arsenal of attorneys.  Evelyn thinks the only thing Jenn needs to do is keep her bleeping mouth bleeping closed.  Bleep.  Such class.

Suzie is rewarded for sharing her gossip and scores an invitation to go jet-skiing with the mean girls.  Over breakfast, Shaunie is peeved that Jenn hasn’t had the decency to tell her she’s arrived.  The women giggle about Kenya staying in her room with all the nasty fish hidden inside.  Shaunie and Tami go to coax Kenya out of her bungalow, and they are overwhelmed by the disgusting stench coming from her room.  They can’t believe she’s able to hang out in there.

Kenya is on a mission to face off with Evelyn after the bottle throwing instance.  Evelyn respects her for coming to hang out despite her fear, unlike Jenn who is hiding in her room like a kitty.  Tami wants to know what Jenn and Kenya talked about on the uber-long plane ride.  Funny, Tami says she hates when people talk behind one anothers’ backs, but yet she is encouraging Kenya to narc on Jenn.  Oh, hypocrisy…you are humorous.  Kenya reveals that Jenn is upset, and Tami is confused.  Doesn’t Kenya realize that Jenn ASKED to get hit in the face?

Tami tries to instigate clear the air by asking Kenya why she is not super peppy.  Hmmm…pretty much every one of these women has thrown her under the bus, so I’m not surprised she’s a little quiet.  She tells Evelyn she didn’t appreciate having a wine bottle thrown at her regardless of what she did or didn’t say.  Evelyn gives Kenya a very defensive and insincere apology which is met with a very frightening stare.  Shaunie is scared.  I think I may love crazy Kenya!  Everyone is taken aback by her staring and shaking.  Kenya reminds Evelyn that as a mother, there are better ways to handle a situation other than throwing things.  Evelyn was mad though, so that’s reason enough to toss objects at people.  Kenya’s unstable stare intensifies, and Shaunie calls her out on being crazy.  Kenya doesn’t disagree.  Tami is cackling yet again.

Once things calm down at the table, the women head to lounge by the pool.  Tami finds it equally hilarious when Kenya asks about Kesha’s whereabouts.  Of course Kenya is thrilled to hear that her nemesis was bullied out of the tropics and offers to try to get Jenn out of her bungalow.  Tami is shocked that Kenya was successful in her mission, but she’s livid when Jenn walks past her without speaking.

In the restaurant, Kenya tells Jenn about Evelyn’s apology.  Jenn is kind enough to say that sometimes Evelyn does have moments of goodness.  No matter how much Kenya tries to convince her otherwise, Jenn is not going to put herself in Evelyn’s path while in Tahiti.  Shaunie and Tami join Jenn and Kenya, and they tell Jenn that they can’t believe she has been avoiding them.  Tami insists that the pair needs closure, while Shaunie touts the importance of civilized adult conversation.  How would she know?

Evelyn takes the opportunity to ask Jenn to discuss their issues.  She wants to lay everything on the table and keep everything “one hundred.”  Evelyn goes on to accuse Jenn of being the start of the drama, and she brings up the police report and lawyers.  Jenn does not want to listen anymore, so she excuses herself from the table.  Evelyn follows (of course), and Tami and Shaunie are doing their best to stay between the two as Jenn rushes back to her bungalow.  Evelyn is accusing her of cheating on Eric and being a horrible friend.  Good times!

Next week, Evelyn is in tears because she really wants to talk to Jenn.  When Jenn finally gives in, Evelyn is yelling at her about condoms and vajayjays.  Tami gets heated about Kesha when discussing the Tahiti trip with Royce, while Shaunie worries people may think she is less savvy business woman and more ghetto hot mess thanks to the show.

WHAT DID YOU THINK OF LAST NIGHT’S EPISODE?  WAS THEIR BEHAVIOR ANY BETTER?  DID YOU LIKE CRAZY KENYA?

It was the most disturbing and horrendous episode I’ve ever had to blog about, and I watch some seriously trashy television.  Y’all know I have to be talking about the most recent Basketball Wives, right?  Naturally viewers were outraged as they watched Tami Roman bully fellow cast mate Kesha Nichols in a drunken tirade while vacationing in Tahiti.  While I was certain that an apology would ensue just for the sake of damage control, I wasn’t holding my breath that it would be sincere.  Bingo!

On Tuesday, Tami took to twitter to apologize for her horrendous behavior to Kesha.  However, presumably due to backlash, she has since deleted her twitter account.  According to newsone.com, the first apology tweet stated, I’m not proud of my behavior, but I own up to it and face it. I do apologize 2my family, my friends, my kids & 2 my cast members—Tami Roman (@TamiRoman)” followed by “I just landed in NYC, but I did catch 2nites episode on the plane. As I said earlier, this was BAD, wrong & immature-I apologize…—Tami Roman (@TamiRoman).”

Tami even took to Facebook, where her apology was a tad on the defensive side.  According to enstarz.com, the post read, “I don’t apologize for it 2b accepted – that is ultimately the other person’s right to accept or deny it. My only responsibility is to acknowledge a mistake was made and own up to it. I apologize to my family, my REAL friends, my business colleagues, and my Project Girl ladies 4my recent behavior on BBW. I am NOT a bully as depicted on the show, but I did make poor decisions in handling my differences with my cast mate. I sincerely apologize to all of us, as well as to my castmate who was on the receiving end of my wrath.”  Perhaps to her REAL friends that sounds like a REAL apology.

Below is a picture Evelyn Lozada tweeted of Tami’s facebook page in which Tami explains her decision to deactivate her twitter account.  Heck, I feel like Evelyn put more effort into writing her blog than those two tweets and random post!  She writes:

Last night’s episode was a whirlwind of emotions for everyone. It’s such a sensitive subject for me because I honestly see it from both sides. I’m not here to condemn or condone anyone especially given some of my choices this season, however I will say that once again last night’s episode and all that happened forced me to look at and examine myself in ways that I haven’t in the past. No matter what the situation is, I’m realizing that we as grown women are allowing ourselves to be placed in a position for judgment. I’m confident that I speak for many of us on the show that when it comes to creating a better balance for television, we are all working very hard to do just that. Many of us are getting help for our inner issues and striving to portray a more positive image overall.

Tahiti was just an example of all of us being a true work in progress… Hang in there with us, as we vow to grow and become better!

Well, that’s all fine and good, Ms. Lozada, but are we actually going to see this “balance” of which you speak?  That seems to be the show’s new buzz word as discontent among fans swirls in light of the BBW being renewed for a fifth season.  The show’s creator, Shed Media, also released a statement after the vicious episode, stating, “Shed Media US is fully committed to telling the compelling stories of the Basketball Wives in a balanced way. Our producing partner Shaunie O’Neal feels strongly about this, and we fully agree with this stance. We support her as she encourages the cast members to work out issues in a non-violent fashion. We look forward to working with her and the rest of the cast on conveying more balance in the next season.”

Not surprisingly, even more celebrities are speaking out about the show and it’s violence.  While the Monday’s episode aired, Nicki Minaj tweeted, “so disturbed by this episode #sad.”  Shortly after, the rapper tweeted the link to Kesha’s blog about bullying which you can read here.

And finally, let’s give Royce Reed a little blog time since she hasn’t been getting much screen time lately.  Vibe.com is reporting on a radio interview where Royce confirms what we all already knew…there’s no way, no day that she’ll ever leave Dezmon Briscoe, despite the cheating rumors.  It seems Dezmon easily convinced Royce that his actions were necessary to maintain a relationship with his son.

She told DJ TT Torrez of iPower 92.1, “The situation is crazy and I understand why he did it, it was wrong as hell, but the fact is he never cheated on me.  I can’t make her get over the fact that one, they were never together, and two, they’re not gonna be together. There’s no love lost because there was never any love gained, and I just feel like things got a little messy, and me responding to her got a little messy also.  I’m not gonna leave Dezmon because of what the world thinks I should do. I love him, he loves me and it wasn’t time to walk away. I’m not gonna leave him for the one thing he did wrong when there were so many other things he did right.”  Oh, Royce.  Could it be your father is right?  It seems like you’re still way more focused on Dezmon’s ex than what your boyfriend put you through.  Good gracious…will these ladies EVER learn??
