It’s becoming more and more obvious every year that Tool Academy is a show solely for entertainment. How else can one explain Jacob Tapia winning the third season?

The guy lied his way through the show, picked a fight with almost every other contestant and quite frankly showed little to no improvement. There were more deserving winners, Kevin anyone?

In a new interview with VH1, Jacob talks winning the show and his relationship status with girlfriend Christie. They are still together by the way. Excerpts from that below -

So what’s happened since the show? How are you and Christie doing? I’ve been kind of low-key since the show aired, just because of contracts and I don’t want to get in any kind of trouble. We’re still together, we’re doing good.

How did Tool Academy change your relationship? It’s helped our relationship a lot. We have a lot more trust in each other. Going through the experience of the Academy brought us closer. We’re going great right now.

Some of Tool Academy’s couples have made a deeper commitment at the end, like gotten married or engaged. Have you two talked about it? Right. We talked about it. But we’re gonna wait and see what happens with my career, where we’re gonna live, whether that’s Florida or California. Then once we get settled, make the next move.

Those first few sessions you mostly were just aggressive. I think a lot of us were wondering how you stayed. I was pissed off. I was throwing stuff, breaking chairs and kicking over objects they had set up. I was really frustrated. Everything was overwhelming. I had lots of mixed emotions, I remember that. And a lot of anger.

Why did you turn on Jennavecia? Me and Jennavecia were cool in Cancun, and then we got to the Academy and I wanted to keep my distance. I didn’t want her to be too close to me because I felt like she would try to make a move. The thing about her is that she would talk a lot of s*** about how her man would beat my ass. And then I would approach her man and Kyle wanted no part of me. So that kind of got old after the third or fourth episode in.

Tommy accuses you of being a bully in the house. Were you? That’s not true. Nobody bullied anybody. Some people called me a bully because when I had a problem with someone I would call it out. On the other hand you had people like Tommy who would talk s*** about people. I would rather be someone who’s real and up front than talk behind someone’s back. Kevin stood up for me. He said, “Jacob’s not being a bully, Jacob’s just being Jacob.” If I don’t like you because you’re talking ****, I’ll call you out. That’s not being a bully. It’s being real.

How did you stay after getting into so many fights? I don’t know why…every week, looking back, I was getting badges, and I know there were people out there blogging about me, saying, “I don’t know why Jacob’s still around,” but I guess Trina saw something in me. The first week I think I should have been eliminated. I got a freebie because Chasyn left. It just seemed like every week I was going to be eliminated, but this person did something just a little bit worse. I don’t know why Trina kept me around, except that she thought I could change. She actually told me that I was a late bloomer, in the final elimination. It just took a while for things to hit home for me.

You think all of Angelo’s tears were for the game? Angelo is really fake. He’s a crybaby, but I think a lot of his tears were for money. I’m glad they saw through that.

Be honest. Were you there for the money? I wasn’t really there for the money. I will admit, though, when it got to the Top 3, I was thinking, “Wow, I actually have a chance at winning $100,000.” Looking back at it, earning all these badges, why not continue to grow? So at that point I was like, I’m going to do what I can. I’m going to show the Academy I’ve changed.

So what are your plans for the cash? There’s no plans for the money right now. I’m just going to put it in the bank and sit on it for a little bit. A lot of doors have opened since the show, so I’m going to have different avenues of making money and having a career, so I don’t have to touch that right away.

TELL US – DID JACOB DESERVE TO WIN TOOL ACADEMY? IF NOT, WHO SHOULD HAVE WON?

Tool Academy 3

Tool Academy is back! VH1 has released the latest cast photos and information for the third season, which is set premiere Sunday, Feb. 14 at 9/8c on VH1.

And there is a big twist this season as 2 females or toolettes will be joining the cast for the first time in the show’s history (one of them is part of a same-sex couple). One of the female cast members also happens to be Jennavecia, who was on the 2nd season of Oxygen’s Bad Girls Club.

More information from the press release is below –

The first two seasons of Tool Academy documented the journeys of dishonest boyfriends as they participated in weekly therapy sessions and relationship schooling on topics such as honesty, fidelity and communication. Viewers witnessed the shocking arrival of secret extra girlfriends, a surprise wedding and the phenomenon known simply as “Matsuflex.” Each week, the tool that showed the least progress was dismissed, leaving him to plead his case before his girlfriend who chose to keep him or kick him to the curb.

This season welcomes the Academy’s first female tools, or “toolettes,” including the first same-sex couple. But make no mistake: these ladies lie, cheat and strut just as much as their male counterparts. After the most elaborate reveal yet, the new class will undergo lie detector tests, hidden cameras, focus groups and all new physical challenges until just 1 tool remains to collect the $100,000 grand prize.

Jordan Murphy will return to hosting duties and attempt to help these two-timing tools become reformed partners. Also helping to rebuild these broken relationships is couples counselor Trina Dolenz. Ultimately, Trina has the last say in which tools stay and which are expelled from the academy each week.

Jeff Schroeder is speaking out on his recent departure from Big Brother 11 in a new interview with People.  The  30 year old advertising salesman from Chicago, who also happens to be one of the dreamiest most liked houseguests in Big Brother history, answers the questions BB fans have been wondering about, such as why did he put his trust in Natalie and Kevin?

Jeff also talks about his future with houseguest Jordan.  Excerpts from his interview are below -

What happened to the kiss you promised to give Jordan?
There were a lot of emotions running through my head. Jordan was the first person that I grabbed and if she would have come with me to the door, I definitely would have [kissed her]. I didn’t leave the way that I wanted to. I wish I would have kissed Jordan and I wish I would have said more encouraging words to both Jordan and Michele.

Do you think you made the wrong choice by going after Russell and siding with Kevin and Natalie?
Everyone is confused about me “switching” sides from Russell to Kevin. There were no sides. It was me and Jordan in the end. I wanted to split Michele and Russell up because there was something cooking between them two, and I wanted to get the strongest player that was left in the house. I wouldn’t change anything that I did. I made the decisions and I put it all on my shoulders but if I had won the POV, I personally think that I would have won the game.

America gave you the coup d’etat, which you used to flip the game on its head. How shocked were you when they revealed it to you?
It was actually overwhelming and I don’t think I did a good enough job in thanking America for that because I was actually speechless. I was wishing for something the entire game and I felt like my back was to the wall and this was a gift from above. It was the best feeling in the world to know hat someone outside the game was on my side.

Who do you think has played the best game so far?
Hats off to Michele. She comes through in the clutch, she has big wins and proves herself time and time again. To this day I cannot figure her out, which is probably a really good quality to have in this game. The difference between Michele and Kevin is Michele bends the truth and Kevin is a straight out someone that cannot be trusted.

Is there a future for you and Jordan outside the BB house?
It’s hard to have a relationship on that show, in that house. I definitely want to maintain a close friendship with Jordan outside of the house and if something evolves from there, great. If it doesn’t, I don’t want to jeopardize the friendship that we have.

Who is going on your Hawaiian vacation with you?
Hawaii is still a question mark for me. Let’s just say that Jordan is on a very short list.

braden-big-brother The first houseguest evicted from Big Brother 11, California surfer Braden Bacha is speaking out on his time in the house, as well as his confrontation of Lydia, who he felt had betrayed him. In this new interview with People, Braden shows no remorse for the racial slurs he made in the house, even managing to get some digs in towards Kevin and Lydia again.

You’re the first one out, which is exactly what you would call on honor. Were you surprised?
I’m not going to be pissed off about something I can’t do anything about. I’d rather be the first one out than the third or fourth one out. The sky’s the limit for me. It’s summertime and it’s my mom’s birthday next week. I have things to look forward to.

What was your downfall?
It’s called sabotage. Lydia and I were getting along great and she went behind my back to save her own ass. She went and told lies to Jessie and told the whole Jock crew that I was out to take them out and kill them.

Do you regret calling Lydia names?
Absolutely not. She’s gross-looking and she does weird things and she hangs out with old men and she’s tattooed from head-to-toe and I think she’s disgusting. I have no respect for her.

Kevin ran up to defend Lydia and you threw water on him. Do you regret that?
No. He’s flamboyantly gay and you can’t punch a gay guy, let alone push him. I just wanted him to get out of my face. It was like saying, “Shoo, button.”

If they accepted your apology, why did Chima get up in the eviction pleas and call you a “bigot,” a “racist” and a “misogynist?”
She’s completely bipolar. She goes up and down all day long … She looks at you like she wants to kill you. She’s completely nuts.

Now that you know it was Ronnie who sold you out in the end, what are your feelings on the newest HOH?
People are going to realize that he totally blew the whole game for us. We had the whole strategy figured out and he blew it. He blew half the house’s plans, and people are going to get that it was Ronnie’s fault. And eventually they’ll go after him.
