The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star is just like whatev about her bizarre behavior during Eileen Davidson‘s poker night. The one where she, BrandiGlanville, and Kyle Richards resorted to scrapping in the driveway while a horrified Vince looked on, sipping a Corona, like who needs cable – cancel that Dish subscription! I hope he took bets on who would whine and cry the loudest over being scratched by a janky bangle bracelet.
Sipping on the ole’ juice of denial, Rambles chastises us for mistaking her sadness for weakness and explains just how she found herself slipping pain pills and slipping out of control! The gist of the blog is that nothing, nada, not one thing is Kim’s fault.
Today, Bravo released the first previews for the reunion which will not only be dramatic, but will also be in three parts. While Kim was unable to attend the reunion taping, due to her recent stint in rehab, she did manage to do a sit down interview with Andy Cohenduring which she finally admits her drinking problem.
The dramatic preview for the RHOBH 3-part reunion is below. Part I airs Monday, January 30 on Bravo at 9/8c. Part II airs Feb. 6, and Part III airs Feb. 13.
Kim’s substance abuse issues first came to light early last year after her sister Kyle Richards revealed her alcoholism during their big limo fight.
RadarOnline is reporting that Bravo is seeing the light, listening to the fans and possibly writing Lady Armstrong that severance check!
“Taylor is absolutely freaked out at the possibility of not returning for a third season,” a source reveals. “Even though there has been a ratings bump this season because of the suicide, Taylor knows the criticism she has endured because of the tragedy. Taylor needs this job, she doesn’t have any other source of income, period.”
“She is fearful that producers of the show are going to cut her because she is seen as a liability to the show.” In light of the recent drama surrounding Taylor she may have a point. Additionally, Bravo structured the entire second season of RHOBH around her storyline to great fan dissatisfaction.
Taylor is defending herself against the recent rumors of being fired. “It’s not true,” she told RumorFix. “We have not even been picked up for season three.” While appearing on the Today Show on Tuesday, Andy Cohen announced there will be no cast changes and Bravo has made no decisions about season three. I find that hard to believe in light of the fan reactions to this season!
Finally, Taylor’s memoir Hiding From Reality is due in stores next month and I know y’all are waiting with bated breath to hear what she has to say; so you’re in luck! In order to drum up sales and excitement for the tell-all, Us Weekly is releasing some of the more gory excerpts.
Among her shocking allegations, she insists Russell was going to force her to abort her baby if it wasn’t a girl! “Russell wanted to keep the baby only if it was a girl. Because he already had two boys. At five weeks I took a blood test and mailed in the sample to learn the gender, and fate, of our baby.”
Taylor claims Russell controlled every aspect of her life and she constantly lived in fear of being recorded. “I always assumed I was being recorded in the car and at home,” Taylor’s book reads. “I was always careful to make sure the content of my conversations was very clear.”
The reality star insists her attempts to fight back made matters worse and that Russell’s abuse was calculated. “He would grab my hair and bang my head against the side of the car between the two door. Or against the glass of the passenger window while he was driving, because it made his point to me but didn’t leave a visible mark.”
Asserting that Russell believed he would kill her, Taylor claims he blamed her for his violent outbursts. “Don’t ever do that again because I almost killed you,” Russell reportedly told Taylor. “One of these days I’m afraid I’m going to kill you.”
Taylor realized she needed to leave Russell after his abuse caused her a dislocated cornea that could have left permanent danger. “Hearing that I was in danger of having a lifelong deformity from something that Russell had done to me was enough to finally snap me out of the spell Russell had over me,” she writes. “When my assistant and I got home from my doctor’s appointment, I told her to pack a bag for Kennedy.”
Hiding From Reality: My Story of Love, Loss, and Finding the Courage Within hits stores February 7th — just after RHOBH finishes airing!

Well, In Touch Weekly now reports that what viewers saw was mild compared to what was happening behind the scenes and that Kim’s situation was far more dire than we could have imagined! In a new expose titled “Destroyed By Hollywood,” the magazine speaks to a relative and a family friend of Kim’s that claim appearing on the series caused Kim to relapse! “Before the show, Kim was sober and living a low-key life,” the relative reveals.
“Kim is a really quiet person when she’s sober,” the relative shares. “But in order to get good ratings you need big personalities. So she started drinking again almost as soon as she got on the show.” It was Kim’s sister Kyle Richards who got her a spot on the show after she introduced Kim to producers and it was also Kyle who exposed Kim’s alcoholic past and publicly worried about her drinking and behavior throughout this season.
The pressure of being on camera and dealing with the show, including interacting with the other ladies, led Kim to start drinking again. “She turns to alcohol to deal with her nerves,” the relative explains.
Initially, Kim’s silly and goofy personality along with her shy, but straight-forward demeanor earned her fans and she became one of the breakout stars of the series, but all that changed this season when viewers witnessed a very different side of Kim. According to Bravo insiders much of Kim’s behavior was so outrageous it had to be cut from the series, which is perhaps why we aren’t seeing much of her this season.
“They’ve actually edited out a lot of scenes in which she was acting really sloppy,” the insider recounts. “It was too evident that she was on something.” That lost footage was one of the reasons the network supposedly encouraged Kim to seek treatment for her addiction.
Kim apparently has a “lifelong” pattern of using alcohol and has been in and out of rehab throughout the past decade. Kim actually admitted this to fans in a Twitter blog, in which she acknowledged her past struggles with alcohol abuse and claiming that she was better now.
According to her family friend Kim was far from healed and in fact her desire to be famous fueled her addiction. “She has always wanted to be famous,” the friend shares. “Even a taste of it is addictive to her.” Indeed, Kim’s days in the limelight as a child star dwindled once she reached adulthood and pursued marriage and children.
Kim tried to break into acting as an adult, but never quite got a big break. Making it a particularly bitter pill to swallow was her niece Paris Hilton‘s rise to superstardom for a sex tape and personal scandals. Kim “actually had talent,” the family friend explains, “so to watch her niece, Paris become huge for doing nothing was especially difficult. It ate her up inside.”
The pressure of dealing with disappointment, along with the sudden new-found interest in her personal life due appearing on a hugely popular reality show pushed Kim to drink again. “She’s a closet drinker who uses alcohol as a way to escape from pressure,” the relative reveals.
And despite Kim’s ex-husband Monty Brinson‘s optimism that this time rehab will work for the struggling star, her relative is dubious about her potential for long-term success. “It’s good that she’s taking responsibility. But she won’t really get better unless she quits TV altogether.”

THOUGHTS ON THE ARTICLE? DO YOU BELIEVE KIM WILL TRULY GET THE HELP SHE NEEDS AND BEAT ADDICTION? SHOULD KIM LEAVE THE SHOW?
A source tells the Hollywood Life blog that Taylor’s costars think it’s “horrible” that she’s writing her book so soon after Russell’s passing.
“When Taylor announced she was going to write a book about her supposed abusive relationship with her husband everyone thought it was just disgusting,” says the source. “It’s just too soon and the cast just thinks this speaks volumes about who Taylor is at heart.”
As for Taylor, she has stated in the past that she is writing the memoir, titled Hiding from Reality: My Story of Love, Loss and Finding the Courage Within, to help other women in abusive relationships. In fact, in a statement given to ABC news today, Taylor states the only reason she’s releasing her book now is because Russell is no longer here, citing she would have been too scared to do so if he was still alive.
“I wish I could have ben able to tell my story before now… But, until my husband Russell’s suicide, I didn’t feel safe to bring my story into the light, to help all battered and abused women, and men, and aid them in their struggle,” says Taylor.
Taylor continues, “I discussed my book Monday night for the first time on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live. The overwhelming response from viewers and their outpourings of support has been gratifying. From the bottom of my heart, I believe if my book can help others find the courage to deal with the pain and fear of their abusive relationships, I will have made a real difference in their lives.”
“Kim has been to rehab more than once before,” says the source, “but every time is a new time, and everyone just hopes this sticks and that she gets the help she needs. It’s serious.”
The source who reveals Kim has been “erratic” also adds that she is no longer living with her boyfriend Ken Blumenfeld and that she was pretty much homeless before rehab.
“He’s not in the picture. No one really knows what the deal was with them, but Kim doesn’t live with Ken,” the source says. “She’s basically homeless, staying with various friends. She doesn’t have a home base. It’s not unusual for people to not hear from her for long stretches of time. It’s been that way for years.”
Kim’s family is, however, “relieved she’s getting help,” states the source. “She has lots of issues. She needs help.”
The Rumor Fix blog adds that Kim is at the Betty Ford Center near Palm Springs. She will reportedly be in the program for 30 days at a cost of $27,900. Could Bravo be footing the bill? After all, it was reported this week that the network forced Kim to get help.
