I don’t know, man. Eden Sassoon may be nuttier than a five-pound fruitcake, but she’s on the right side of the truth when it comes to Lisa Rinna’s latest accusations and deflections. The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills newest addition claims that Rinna is suffering from “selective memory,” and she’s here to set the record straight.
But first, Eden takes a moment to praise her mom for talking her off the ledge. “Let’s start this blog post with the beautiful part of this episode…my mama. She is such a strong, beautiful woman, who so easily brings me back down to earth. It wasn’t always that way; we have worked really hard on our relationship. But now that we have such a strong friendship, I look to her for advice when I am overwhelmed, which I totally am at this moment.”
After arriving in Mexico at Mauricio and Kyle Richards’ vay-cay pad, Eileen abruptly got the sh*ts. But that didn’t stop her from playing fierce ally to Rinna, who was called out for her lies comments that were caught on camera. Eileen reflects, “Pardon the understatement of the year, but this is a very complicated situation! Watching the show the last couple weeks, Lisa Rinna’s comments about Kim Richards to Eden have been played many times. So much has been said about it. But, here’s the context I think we’re missing.”
When Eden Sassoon rolled the dice by confessing secrets to Lisa Vanderpump this week on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, she won big. At least, that is how she sees it. After sharing information that Lisa Rinna had given her about Kim Richards being “mostly sober” and “this close to dying,” Eden feels like the group may understand her meddling a bit better now. (But, let’s get real: It was still intrusive and creepy as hell!)
Eden explains, “It was very important that I had that lunch with Vanderpump. She told me straight up that I should not mess with her friend Kyle [Richards]. I respected that and her so much! I didn’t have a chance to tell anyone about what Lisa Rinna had told me. Well maybe it was that I didn’t want to make the situation worse for Rinna, because I didn’t want to be gossiping about my ‘friend.’ But when I saw what Rinna was doing to me, you know, pretending like she didn’t tell me that ‘Kim is near death,’ not defending me in any situation with Kyle and Kim, and acting like I was obsessed with Kim’s sobriety, I had to speak the #TRUTH.”
I don’t know about that Erika Jayne character, but I am digging Erika Girardi on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills lately. Is it her icy dismissal of the grotesque and annoyingPK Kemsley? Or her schoolgirl giddiness when reading for a bit part on The Young And The Restless with Eileen Davidson? Maybe it’s her ability to let panytgate go long before the others caught up? Nah. It HAS to be because Yolanda Foster-Hadid is gone! That must be it. In any case, she wins this year for Most Improved Housewife in my book.
In her blog, Erika recounts her nervousness on set at Y&R, the “INCREDIBLE” location of Kyle Richards’super cheesy Great Gatsby party, and the relentless sobriety-story-sniffing of Eden Sassoon. But first, Erika praises Lisa R’s barbecue: “This week Lisa Rinna is having a real deal barbecue. Like, a grill and burgers and jeans barbecue. I love it. She has such a sweet family. Delilah Belle and Amelia Gray are two well-raised, bright, young women, and I enjoy getting to know them more and more.”
First, Lisa focuses on the good points of the episode – namely, Kyle’s party. “The party and property were gorgeous, and I knew Kyle wanted me there, so I begged Ken to cut our stay short. The flamboyancy of the flapper era was an era I would have thrived in. The sheer glamour was a sight to behold on that evening, and I was glad I made the effort to go. Everybody was resplendent in their costumes, a visual feast for all.”
First, Eden complains that she’s “STILL trying to get these women to understand me. #NoOneCares” and she insists, “I have a lot in common with the ladies, but no one sees it yet.”
In her blog, Eden defends herself and blames Lipsa-caused confusion for why she got so invested in Kim Richards‘ avowed sobriety and Kyle’s enabling. “I can’t even comment on the Kim and Kyle situation anymore. They should ask their friends how this started! I’m just done. But believe me, I hear Vanderpump! I have mad respect for her and point taken! And Vanderpump is a smart woman. She’ll get to the bottom of this!”
Using her weekly blog to, as she says, “dissect these complicated dynamics,” Lisa is confused about why Eden Sassoon has Kim Richards‘ sobriety (or lack thereof) so on her radar. “For the life of me, I cannot comprehend how this story is so rapidly progressing in a direction I didn’t predict… How can one diagnose another individual after a fleeting interaction? ” Lisa muses.
In her blog, Erika wonders why Eden is so invested in Kim’s sobriety (or lack thereof) anyway? But first, she gushes about the fab time she and Kyle Richards had in Mykonos. During the trip Erika says she was “thrilled to have Kyle here with me. I’m happy that she and I were able to have dinner by the beach before the show madness began. I enjoy Kyle’s company, and I find her very easy to relate to. She’s both a mother and a business woman, and it’s nice to feel that mutual support.”
