On last night’s episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the ladies hit the slopes in Colorado. Lisa and Taylor continue their passive aggressive feud to dominate Kyle’s friendship by trying to out-mean girl each other. And Kyle and Kim try to make some headway in their badly tarnished relationship.
Kyle is moving to a new 7,000 square foot house and she feels this is meant to be her house – in fact she stalked it because she feels connected to its energy. Too bad the house couldn’t get a restraining order! Kyle shows Portia a beautifully framed portrait of Kyle and Mauricio on their wedding day and despite a recent blind item hinting that they may not be so in love, I hope that’s not the case! Kyle’s bestie and decorator, Faye Resnick (looking as be-nipped and tucked as ever) shows up to help the Umansky’s move and make some decisions about where Mauricio’s pool table can go – only in the garage since furniture is more important than man cavedom. Faye discovers amongst Kyle’s possessions an enormous self-portrait. Here’s hoping she’s not arrogant enough to hang that up on the walls! Yikes!

Last night’s Season Premier of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills did not disappoint! Oh, these ladies – you know what they say: “More money, more problems!” Last night’s episode filled us in on what the ladies have been up to since last season and apparently not much has changed: Adrienne and Paul still barely tolerate each other, Lisa and Ken and Giggy, are still Lisa and Ken and Giggy. Kyle and Kim are still on the rocks and well, Camille she’s still arrogant and oblivious! Gotta love her! Before the the bickering starts, Bravo does a solid and gives a touching segment about Russell Armstrong and the housewives reacting to his passing.
The episode opens on Aug 29,2011, shortly after Russell’suntimely death and all seriousness aside: we meet Adrienne’s new face! Adrienne is looking 10 years younger and basically frozen in time. The cast sits down at Adrienne’s, to discuss Russell’s suicide. Kyle brings up how financial pressure in Beverly Hills puts so much strain on people. Lisa describes that she always felt an emotional disconnect with Russell – and that perhaps getting too much information about Russell from Taylor made Lisa shy away from him. Interesting… Kim points out that the cast focused so much on Taylor, because of their friendship, and not on how Russell was doing. All of the ladies and their husbands express guilt over not being more aware of Russell’s emotional state. Kyle is hopeful that Taylor will not feel responsible for Russell’s death given that she left the marriage shortly before he took his own life. It was heart wrenching to see the ladies and their husbands speak so openly about the tragedy.

In a new interview, Kyle Richardsopens up about the new season, her desire to have more children, her feelings on her on camera fight with sister Kim, plus thoughts on costar Camille today. Excerpts from Kyle’s interview with Breezy Mama below -
What can we expect in Season 2 with your sister?
We started to make amends after Season One. By Season 2 we’re okay. We’re still a work in progress throughout the show. We have our moments. We’re probably always going to clash, but we’re sisters. We’re very different.
What about with Camille?
Camille and I are much better. We’re in a good place right now. We’re actually having fun together [laughs].
But you also got flack for it. Were you surprised?
I surprisingly didn’t take any flack for my stuff with Camille. Not at all. I had an enormous amount of support. I couldn’t believe all the Facebook, tweets and emails… Team Kyle. Who knew there were teams? I didn’t know. But the stuff with my sister, I did take flack for. That was very difficult because people are judging you on one season of a TV show and not realizing this relationship is a life time in the making.
You had an all out sister fight. And those can get brutal, but you had it all happen on camera…
I can’t believe it got to that point. I’ll never forget that night, leaving. I was so upset and devastated and crying and I couldn’t believe this all was happening, but I wasn’t even thinking that the world is going to see this. I’m not even thinking about that the camera is there… that doesn’t even cross my mind. So then once that sunk in, the anxiety started.
Do you think you’ll be more self conscious in Season 2?
I think that… in the beginning, I was a little gun shy. But then about a week into it, that all goes away [laughs].
You were talking about another baby in season 1…
I would love another baby. My husband [Mauricio Umansky] told me the other day that the door is not shut on that, but I’m thinking to myself – you better hurry up. Maybe it’s not shut to you, but I don’t know how long I have. I’m not getting any younger… I have always wanted to have twins, but I feel like I’m too short to carry them.
Is there anything you are nervous about in Season 2 to air?
I am on pins and needles. I am nervous about the whole season just because it’s one thing to live our life out and another to watch it play out on a TV show. People think, “Oh, it’s a TV show,” but it’s our lives. There’s no script here.
In other news, the newly divorced Camille Grammeris also speaking out in a recent interview about her new life as a single woman. Surprisingly, Camille reveals she doesn’t need a man to feel complete though admitting being single can be difficult at times.
“It’s difficult. I miss having a partner in my life,” admitted Camille who turned 43 today. “But I realize that in my life now, I don’t need a man to make me feel complete. So that’s what I feel really good about.”
Camille adds that her focus at the moment is on her two children with ex-husband Kelsey Grammer: Daughter Mason Olivia, 10, and son, Jude Gordon, 6. “My existence is pretty boring. My nights are snuggled up watching Selena Gomez with my daughter and son,” she said with a laugh. “That is what is my life is right now.”
As for what she looks for in a man, Camille states: “I like people that are smart and have a wicked sense of humor… that’s probably why I fell in love with Kelsey because he’s very funny… Though it is not all about looks, it helps if he is cute.” Camille goes on to add that her children remain her priority. “I’ve gone on a couple of dates, and if they look the wrong way, I’m sorry. I’m not going to waste my time. It’s all about my children. They have to like children– and if not, good-bye.”
The new season of the RHOBH premieres Monday, Sep. 5 on Bravo.
Kim, aunt to Paris Hilton, has been reportedly rehearsing her moves in the studio and could be in the lineup when the cast is announced next Monday. It has been reported that ABC usually overcasts for the show just in case one of their major stars doesn’t sign on or one drops at the last minute. So it appears Kim, alongside Evelyn Lozada and others are on the short list to join the show.
“She begged producers,” says an insider. “But the show wants real celebrities.” Uh not exactly sure Rob Kardashianqualifies as a “real celebrity.”
Teresa tweeted her disappointment a week ago after a fan told her she should be on the show. “Would [love] to but they don’t want ‘Housewives’ this season. But Playmates are OK?” wrote Teresa.
While the new cast won’t be officially unveiled until August 29 during ABC’s Bachelor Pad, the following celebs have been confirmed to have signed on: Kristin Cavallari, Chaz Bono (Cher’s transgendered son), Rob Kardashian, and according to new reports David Arquette.
Officially out are Snooki, Queen Latifah and Mike Tyson.

Fast forward to today andKyle Richards is now stating the released trailer is actually “mild” in comparison to just how dramatic the new season really is. Is that even possible? “That doesn’t even put a dent in it,” says Kyle. “I was thinking, of all of the things they could have pulled — they used the mild stuff. I guess they didn’t want to overwhelm everyone.”
Kyle adds that this season is very emotional as the relationships and dynamics between the castmates continue to change. “There’s been a lot of shift in the dynamic,” admits Kyle. “I’ve gotten to know the girls even better. Some of them at the beginning I knew better than others. Now we all know each other inside and out but the dynamics do shift throughout the season. People that you would be surprised to side with and not speaking and going back and forth. That’s definitely prevalent this season.” Interesting.
Meanwhile, Kyle’s sister Kim Richardsis assuring fans of the show that unlike last season, she has found her voice and nobody’s messing with her! Just ask “slut pig” Brandi Glanville.
“I think last season, as I’ve said all along, it takes me a while to get to know people. So I think a lot of what you saw of me last year was very quiet, almost intimidated — well, maybe intimidated isn’t the right word,” said Kim. “And I was uncomfortable being around all the girls, and the cattiness and the fighting, and it overwhelmed me. So I think you saw a side of me that really wasn’t me. So even though I said I wasn’t going to come back, I said “You know what? Time out — I’m going to work on myself.” And I got stronger, and decided I was going to come back and show everybody who I really am.”
Kim, who reveals she will be going “through some personal stuff” on the show, also echoes Kyle’s statements when she states the new season is way more “exciting, explosive, and dramatic” than the first.
And finally Adrienne Maloof also spoke out on the new season stating new cast member Brandi is like a child. “She kind of weaves herself in and out,” Adrienne, 49, says of Brandi, 38. “She is like bringing a child [to a party]. You don’t know really what she is going to say. She has no filter, so that’s why you want to stay tuned!”
The new season of the RHOBH premieres Sep 5. Must say September 5 cannot get here soon enough!
TELL US – THOUGHTS? ARE YOU EXCITED OR VERY EXCITED ABOUT THE NEW SEASON?
About Taylor’s impending divorce, Kyle tells People,”She’s going to pull through. She’s a beautiful girl, she’s a smart girl; she’ll get through it.” Kyle has been trying to take her cast mate’s mind off of the currents situation with fun distractions like a recent beach day for the pals and their daughters. Commenting on Taylor and Russell’s five-year-old daughter Kennedy, Kyle continues,”Kennedy’s doing well. She’s doing great. She’s kind of oblivious to what’s going on.”
As for the long-term, Kyle believes that her friend will make it through this a stronger person. And as for Kyle, she’s just doing what any good girlfriend would do. She says, “I’ve seen her a lot lately. I love Taylor, and I know she’s going through a hard time right now. I’m just being there as a friend.”
Kyle is about to get a lot busier as well. RadarOnline reports she is returning to her acting roots, and I for one, was a HUGE fan of her in Disney’s frightening (well frightening for Disney) Watcher in the Woods. Kyle will be starring in an upcoming Lifetime movie entitled Deadly Sibling Rivalry. Should her sister Kim Richards (the bigger of the two as far as child stars go…need I remind you of the awesomeness of the Witch Mountain movies?) watch her back? “Don’t think too much into the title,” jokes Kyle.
Also on the horizon for Kyle is a handbag line and a book, a la niece Paris Hilton. However, nearest and dearest to Kyle’s heart is the housewives franchise. She is very excited about the upcoming season, despite ending on a sour note with some of her cast mates. Kyle admits, “The reunion was absolutely torture: It’s absolutely torture because you see things that the girls are saying that you never knew they said about you, and all of a sudden you’re like, ‘Wait a minute! I thought that we were friends? I thought we were OK?’” Nevertheless, it’s her favorite business venture.
And just because it’s too cute/strange not to mention, Kyle’s precious toddler Portia, with hottie husband Mauricio Umansky, is the newest member of the Twitterverse. You can follow Kyle’s youngest daughter as she spouts sweet sentiments such as “Dear God, I love u in the morning like a diamond ring.” A collective “awww” please!
