Alexis who is from Newport Coast is described as a stay-at-home mother of three. There are conflicting stories on wether or not Alexis is replacing OC veteran, Jeana Keough. The OC Register is reporting Jeana will not be back, while other reports have stated Jeana will be returning.
The one thing we are certain of is that Alexis will be on the show. Alexis’s husband is Jim Bellino, 47. Jim is described as an entrepreneur who use to own a pool table business that was an $8 million-a-year-profit company.
In a new interview with the OC register, Alexis describes filming with the other women – “It has been amazing. I already knew Gretchen. Lynne (Curtin)’s a sweetheart. She doesn’t have a mean bone in body. Vicki (Gunvalson) and I joked and laughed and had a good time. But there’s drama anytime you get five women together.”
Unlike Kelly Bensimon of the NY Housewives, Alexis describes herself as an addict of the show and has seen every single episode.
This should make for an interesting new season. I love the fact that she just happens to be a friend of Gretchen. Alexis is obviously easy on the eyes as is Gretchen. So it might be safe to say Tamra Barney will spend the entire season on trying to “out” her on something, or accuse Alexis of trying to be like her.
TELL US – WHAT DO YOU THINK OF ALEXIS JOINING THE CAST?
While the new season of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Orange County is scheduled to begin filming next week, one familiar housewife that won’t be returning is original cast member, Jeana Keough. The decision to not have Jeana return seemed to be that of Bravo, and not Jeana.
Tamra Barney gave an interview earlier this week to Radaronline teasing that one of the original housewives would not be returning. While Tamra did not confirm who it was, TheDirty website did confirm yesterday that Jeana Keough is the one leaving.
Tamra also says there might be a new housewife or two added to the show. I can’t help but get the feeling the show will be a-okay as long as Gretchen is still on there, and Tamra continues her pathetic mission to “expose her.” I will however miss Jeana on the show, she was a likable character. No word yet on if Lynn will be returning, does the show really need her?
Tell Us: What do you think of Bravo’s decision not to bring Jeana back?
Real Housewives of Orange County’sLauri Waring is taking her ex husband, Phillip Waring, back to court in an attempt to demand more money from him.
TMZ reports that Lauri is claiming she only earns $400 a month from her work as an insurance agent and actress. Yes you read that right, actress. She filed legal papers filed in Orange County’s Superior Court claiming she has over $12,000 in expenses per month. She goes on to state that the money she is currently receiving from Phillip is not enough.
Lauri estimates Phillip earns around $360,000 a year. No word yet on if this is for child support or spousal support, as Lauri is currently married to George Peterson, who was portrayed as being a rich millionaire on past seasons of The Real Housewives of OC.
The Real housewives attended the Bravo A list awards this weekend and below are pictures of the housewives. Very interesting seeing Gretchen with all the other OC housewives. The Real housewives of NY star Bethenny Frankel blogged about meeting all the housewives –
“This past weekend was the Bravo A-List Awards in LA, and I had the distinct pleasure of meeting all of the housewives. Yup, Atlanta and OC too.It was a weekend of a lot of wigs and a lotta weave. Here were the highlights: Kim is larger than life, off the rails, I don’t give an F, I drink, I smoke, my rack is hanging out, so stick it. Good TV for sure. Sheree was shockingly quiet, understated, nice and seemingly drama free (her flaming cling on gay glam friend notwithstanding). Lisa was tiny and peppy and sweet. Gretchen is bubbly and giggly and a stereotypically ditzy blonde, but truthfully, she seemed sweet on the surface as well. The fact that she’s dating Slade is too absurd to discuss, so I’ll let the viewers decide if he makes it next season. The blondes from OC have the most boobs and hair and lashes and Lynne made a funny comment that she could carve her initials in her face.
Where were the cameras? Truthfully, for a group of 13 women, I have to say, we played along very nicely. As for the husbands, except Simon Barney, most of them are wallflowers, and I’m not sure if George even speaks.
Freud would have a field day with this – Lauri “accidentally” sprayed Gretchen with her own personal airbrushing machine and her red carpet dress (which was half white) now had tan on it. She handled it surprisingly well.
What also made me laugh was the number of groupie entourage peeps these broads hung with. New Yorkers are independent. Ramona and I rolled solo while Atlanta and the OC had hair, makeup, friends, artists, drivers, bodyguards – you name it.The fact that my cast is way more subtle is truly astounding in and of itself.”
The Real Housewives of Orange County has yet to be greenlighted for it’s fifth season, and according to the NY Post, Slade and Gretchen’s new relationship might be playing a big factor.
As you all know by now, Gretchen and Slade are now a couple. Slade had appeared on previous seasons while dating Jo De LaRosa and Lauri Waring. The Post reports that the folks at Bravo are very skeptical of this publicity stunt new relationship and are not anxious to have Slade back on the show.
Bringing you the latest episode in the never ending soap opera of the OC housewives, TMZ is now reporting that Vicki Gunvalson is receiving death threats. I mean we just can’t make these things up even if we tried.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department is investigating two death threats received by Vicki. The sheriffs believe the two threats came from “a fanatical female fan who takes the show way too seriously.”
According to the Sheriff, Vicki received one of the threats through a phone call, and the other through an email sent to Jeana Keough. The email told Jeana not to worry about Vicki because she “would take care of Vicki for her.” The cops continue to investigate these threats.
While we can understand why people would hate Vicki, death threats is definitely taking it a bit too far. Wonder if Tamra is receiving threats as well?
In the never ending drama of the OC housewives, Jeff’s ex wife and mother of his three children Sharon spoke out recently and cleared the air on the whole Gretchen issue. She posted this as a comment on our other blog. We were able to verify with 100% certainty that the comment was indeed written by Sharon. What she had to say is very interesting.
“My kids do NOT and NEVER have adored Gretchen….they know exactly what she’s about and what she’s up to and has been up to all along and their Dad knew it too. My daughter, Jill making any statement re. Gretchen explained that she simply doesn’t want anymore negative comments written about her Dad which is embarrassing and hurtful to her and her brother and sister. Jill appearing to defend Gretchen (slightly) is done only to quiet any negative statements made about her Dad period. Our three kids, Jennifer, Jill and Jake (Lizzy is not Jeff’s daughter, nor mine…she’s a long-time friend of our daughter Jill) are not fans of Rossi at all and how they describe her in real terms, isn’t nice and hasn’t been nice historically. The fact is, Jeff was never going to marry her and she knows it but likes to play it like they were so much in love (gee…wonder why???). I’ve known Jeff for 25 years and I did visit him in August while he was in the hospital at which time we talked a lot. What I know is totally different than what Gretchen portrays which means, I know the truth and she knows that I know the truth. Sometimes I feel pity for her which is about the most I can feel given all of her lies over the course of time. I really feel sorry for her family, especially her Mom.
My kids are so far above Gretchen in integrity, self-respect and character that it’s really embarrassing that they were ever exposed to her to begin with. Jeff said he was lonely and knew that he appeared desperate to a lot of people, probably both and not unlike a lot of people that are in their mid-life. Gretchen badgered him into being part of this show to begin with and Tamra exposing Gretchen for the fraud she is was gutsy even knowing that she’d experience some backlash from it. Gretchen screwing around on Chris with Jeff and on Jeff with Jay and Jay with Slade naturally would have it’s downside and if Gretchen believed that all of this would remain secret means that she is about as intelligent as a box of rocks. So….Jay exposed her…she’s earned all the disrespect she’s been given and gives to others and if she believes she deserves an iota of respect at all, well….I’m back to the box of rocks intellect again.”
Seems like one or more of the OC housewives will not be back for the next season as Bravo is now looking for new housewives! We’re crossing our fingers and hoping the middle aged mean girls Tamara and Vicky will be the ones getting the axe. The casting information below has been verified to be legit.
Update– Producers will be hold a casting call on April 2 at South Coast Plaza at the rotunda in front of Macy’s, 3333 Bristol St., Costa Mesa. The time is 5.00 – 8.00 p.m.
