On this episode of Teen Mom 2, Leah Messer finally takes the girls on the vacation she’s been talking about (to everyone but her exes), Chelsea Houska sends Aubree off to her first day of first grade, Kailyn Lowry officially files for divorce from Javi Marroquin, and Jenelle Evans decides to announce her pregnancy to the world that is already fully aware, thanks to a police report.
Not surprising to anyone, Leah couldn’t get the kids’ passports back on time so her plans to go to Mexico are out of the question. Ex Jeremy Calvert is relieved to hear this, as he’s been worried from the jump about what a dangerous place a family-friendly resort on the coast of Mexico could be. So California it is!
With so much deception going on with the moms of Teen Mom 2, it would be hard to keep up if they weren’t all so obvious. Now I know since filming has wrapped months ago and the moms are active on social media, what’s going down on this season isn’t exactly a surprise to anyone. We are just seeing HOW it goes down, which unfortunately, still doesn’t offer a whole lot of clarity for the viewer.
Jenelle Evans finally admits on camera that she’s 13 weeks pregnant and David Eason says his stomach is still full of butterflies (again). She reveals that the real reason behind her lying to the producers about being pregnant is because they wanted to wait until she knew the gender and was past 12 weeks. Instead, everyone found out via police report, which Jenelle deems “the trashiest way possible.” I get that Jenelle wanted to control how and when she announced her pregnancy but I doubt the reaction to her announcement would have been any different, given her history on the show and how many haters she has. Regardless, Jenelle is legitimately baffled as to why everyone can’t be happy for her when they are so happy for fellow cast mate, Chelsea Houska.
Well you know how a good reality star can never get enough camera time! In this week’s roundup of photos Phaedra Parks supports the Atlanta Falcons, Leah Messer swears she’s gotten her act together, and Brandi Glanville gets intimate.
“Monday is the least favourite day of the week for many people,” continued Julie, “But Blue Monday… well, it’s considered the worst Monday of them all. The party season is over, we may have already broken our resolutions, our bank account is in the red, and if you live in a cold climate for the month of January… the grey days don’t help either. Blue Monday is considered the most depressing day of the year. Yikes.”
Below you’ll find Kathryn Dennis dealing with her own blues, and more!
Is anyone else tired of watching a reality show where the stars share only certain parts of their life they are comfortable with and demand privacy on others? They signed up for a reality show and collect a paycheck to show their lives, good and bad, right? Well, on last night’s episode of Teen Mom 2, there is one instance where I think privacy is allowed (even if you’re Jenelle Evans) and that’s announcing your pregnancy.
Unless you have been living under a rock, we all know that Jenelle is pregnant again with boyfriend David Eason. For all you rock dwellers, you get to see her denial of the situation play out in front of the cameras. While I don’t think Jenelle handled it in a way that helped her haters any, I can understand why she wouldn’t want to announce she’s pregnant before she is at a place she’s comfortable with. Every woman should be allowed to do that, even a Teen Mom none of us can stand.
Check out the best Instagram snaps this week from our favorite reality stars. Above: Southern Charm star Patricia Altschul launches a new caftan company. She shared, “Our caftan company will be up and running in a month or so. You will be able to send a photo of your pet to our website which will refine it and print the image on beautiful fabric. The embellishment will be done in India. #chic #pet #southerncharm.”
Despite the summer weather, an icy chill has fallen on this episode of Teen Mom 2. Well, for everyone but Chelsea Houska, who is excitedly expecting a baby with fiancé Cole DeBoer. All she needs is her social media announcement because as we all know, it’s not real until it’s Facebook official.
Chelsea is feeling all the first trimester fun: nausea and tired, which is preventing her from taking a shower today. She’s also feeling anxious because it’s so early in her pregnancy and she can’t feel kicks yet. Luckily, she finds a heartbeat while using her home Doppler, so that helps ease some of her fears. A few days later, everything is confirmed by the doctor as a healthy pregnancy after Chelsea gets her first ultrasound.
Since MTV doesn’t give the Teen Mom 2 cast a platform to weigh in on the weekly episodes (like Bravo’s blogs by the Real Housewives) when the show is airing, they take to social media to clear things up on editing and more. This week Jeremy Calvert wanted to set the record straight on what really happened when he took Adalynn to Ohio during the West Virginia flooding.
Jeremy took to Instagram video to vent about the shady editing of this week’s Teen Mom 2. Needless to say, he’s a little frustrated since he did try to reach Leah Messer. “So, to clarify tonight’s episode about me leaving West Virginia and not informing Leah on my travels.. I texted her at 6:42pm and did not get a text message back until 9:38 pm when I was already in Ohio.”
Double Teen Mom 2, double the fun. That’s right, fans, we got a bonus episode this week and I’m ready to bring you the highlights.
Leah Messer is moving on to bigger and better things in the form of a $110K house. She brings the girls and her friend along to see it because apparently, the owners don’t mind if she creeps around the property with the camera crew whenever she wants. Motivated to sell, I guess! There are still numbers to crunch and a wheelchair ramp to put in, but she’s optimistic. She also remains optimistic about Ali’s determination to do normal kid things, even though she’s falling a lot. Leah says as much to Corey Simms at one of their drop offs and Corey agrees for some reason. Ultimately, Leah does end up getting the house and it’s only eight miles from the girls’ school, which she is thrilled about because that means it will only take her 15 minutes max to get there. It also means she will only be 45 minutes late instead of over an hour. It’s a win for all.
