Logan wasn’t due until August 1st, so imagine Lisa‘s surprise when she got the “it’s time” call on July 3rd.
“I got a phone call from the surrogate. She was going into contractions,” shared Lisa. “And, of course, I started flipping out because it was so early. He wasn’t supposed to be due until August 1st. I was trying to pack a bag, trying to pack his bag. My hair was soaking wet. [I was] trying to book a flight because I had to fly to another city within Florida.”
After three miscarriages and four failed IVF attempts, the Real Housewives of Miami couple welcomed their first child, a son, on July 3rd.
Lisa announced earlier this year that they were expecting via surrogate. “We’re just so ecstatic,” she gushed. “It’s our biological child – 100 percent ours. We’re simply using a surrogate to carry it. It’s like a nine-month sleepover.”
Their son, Logan Marc Hochstein, came earlier than expected – due Aug 1st – but Lisa shared on Instagram that he was a perfectly healthy baby boy. Look below for pictures of Lisa and Lenny cuddling baby Logan.
Bravo viewers have watched Real Housewives of Miami'sLisa Hochstein struggle with infertility for the past two seasons, and she has revealed that she has suffered miscarriages and failed IVF attempts in her efforts to start a family. However, when plastic surgeon husband Lenny mentioned looking into a surrogate, Lisa was uneasy, telling him, “I can still try. It’s uncomfortable for me to think of my baby growing in some other woman’s tummy.”
Now, we are learning why. Apparently, Lisa and Lenny had looked into a surrogate in the past only to face more disappointment.
