They never go away, do they?  Just because a lady has decided (or Bravo for her) that a housewives franchise isn't the way to go, the women who leave their shows always find a way to scurry back into the limelight…no matter how faded said light may seem.

Do you remember original Real Housewives of Atlanta's Lisa Wu Hartwell (now, just plain ol' Lisa Wu after a recent divorce)?  She laughed in the face of She By She Broke with her affordable Closet Freak line?  Yeah, she's back…and she's touting a lip gloss line and mediocre movie roles along the way.  I always liked Lisa, but I understand why she bid farewell to her franchise.  She was just far, far too normal.

The former RHOA reality star shared her life for the first two seasons of the show.  While she's now single, she's pursuing offers outside the Bravo realm.  Other former housewives should take note. Not only is Lisa diving into the make-up world (along side several of her franchise counterparts), she's also delved into acting.  Of course she is.

Wet Paint is reporting that Lisa has recently partnered with a cosmetic company to produce her own brand of lip gloss.  Her luxury line, Chameleon by Lisa Wu, will be hitting shelves before we know it!  Hopefully in time for Christmas stocking stuffers, am I right?

Besides being a lip gloss maven, Lisa also has some acting credits under her belt.  She's got a roles in upcoming movies First Impression and Must Be The Music. 

While Lisa has flown way under the radar in reality television world, I'm happy to see her spread her wings a la former co-star NeNe Leakes.  At least she's not debuting her own line of wigs.  WIG!  Sorry, I couldn't help myself.  Best of luck to you, Lisa!

With their fourth season starting to wind down, the Real Housewives of Atlanta filmed their reunion show on Friday! And according to the tweets by Andy Cohen and some of the housewives, it is the best reunion to date! Below are some of those tweets:

Andy Cohen – “We just wrapped the #RHOA Reunion. Probably the best ATL reunion in 4 Seasons of the series. And I’m on vacation now! SeeYa!”

A photo of Kandi Burruss at the reunion is below! It seems like Sheree one or more of the housewives accused NeNe of living with former housewife, Lisa Wu Hartwell.

Meanwhile, this season’s Real Housewives of Atlanta drama has centered around the feud between the talls and the smalls. However, lots of pesky gossip is surfacing behind the scenes, leading me to think that some of the biggest drama is stuff we didn’t get to see.

According to Marlo Hampton’s most recent Bravo blog, she’s learned a lot. Some might even say she’s tinkering on the edge of a new vocabulary. She writes, “Today I learned a new word, shadanfreude \SHOD-n-froy-duh\ , noun: A malicious satisfaction obtained from the misfortunes of others. I learned that when people around you do not mean you well, you must not give them the tools with which they can trip you up.” That sounds like it is straight from Webster’s Dictionary. Dern, that’s deep Marlo!

Talking about that vacation which never seems to go away, Marlo continues, “Some time had passed since my mistake. To be honest, I had hoped that with it all taking place on a different continent, maybe it would not have traveled back home. There I was, all dressed up and ready to play — I expected the evening only to be fun. But Sheree [Whitfield] had been waiting. To look at it now, she had it all planned out. She had as fast as she could made sure to tell on me, and like a vulture circling its prey, she had chosen the optimal time to strike — when I least expected it and was defenseless.” Um, to which mistake is Marlo referring?

Marlo then goes on to explain why she lied to Lawrence about using the F-word, you know, even though it was caught on camera! She adds: “I did not want to lie. I wanted the opportunity to explain and to say sorry. But I couldn’t, because she was there, gloating, so eager to bring my mistake to light. I felt ambushed, backed into a corner. Her smiling face was so hateful, so cunning. What strikes me, is that her friend is not even her concern. In her enthusiasm to set me up, she actually delighted in causing him pain, by stating it was him I had directly talked about, when it was not.”

Marlo is probably just happy to be off the radar, as Phaedra Parks’ dark past seems to be surfacing. A former friend of Phaedra’s is coming forward with a tell-all book touting the Atlanta housewife as the ringleader in an alleged insurance and forgery scam that sent her husband to the clink.

The source, Angela Stanton, is promoting a book, Lies of a Real Housewife–the book cover is below–and recently revealed a lot about her former friend and alleged partner in crime in an interview with vibe.com. She speaks about her time in state prison and giving birth while handcuffed to a bed in jail. Angela lost her mother while serving her sentence, and Phaedra went to the funeral in her place. Once released, she was charged with seventeen counts of conspiracy, and her friend Phaedra wouldn’t represent her, citing a conflict of interest. It was at this point that Apollo’s brother, Everett Nida, claimed Angela was the mastermind behind the crimes.

While she didn’t have to return to prison, Angela found it nearly impossible to find a job with her criminal past. She was scraping by for her children, and even attempted to become a “dancer” at a nightclub. Angela says she was shocked to turn on RHOA to see that Phaedra had married Apollo, and had been able to maintain her lifestyle and give birth not handcuffed to a bed. She was disgusted that Phaedra could pretend to be a friend and even attend her mother’s funeral, and then turn on her. While Angela holds herself accountable for her actions and decisions, she maintains that it was not her, but Phaedra, who was the brains behind the operation. She states, “My book is not about vengance, it’s about justice.” An excerpt of her book is below.

Phaedra Parks was the answer to everything. The only thing I really needed to know was how to act. All my life I always believed that acting was part of my God given talent. Along with hustling, acting came natural. I began thinking of myself as this smooth criminal. I had gotten accustomed to the quick money by now, and quite naturally I never turned down any jobs, no matter how high the risk.

The next mission would be one of the biggest jobs ever assigned to me by Phae. The assignment was well thought out, strategized, and planned. The execution of it was going to demand time. These types of jobs have to crawl before they mature and start walking. Then low and behold, before you even know it, they were off and running…The first part of my assignment involved scoping out potential vehicles at luxury car dealerships. Each day I simply drove around Atlanta, and the surrounding cities looking for potential prey. Every car lot I visited had several luxury cars. I spotted all of the latest models of Porsche, Mercedes Benz, Hummers, Corvettes, and Cadillacs.

Once I had the information recorded, I reported it back to E. We rarely discussed business on the phone. So E and I met daily, and swapped information, and fake documents. It seemed like we never stopped. I provided the VIN numbers, and he provided the fake identification cards, and fraudulent registration cards matched to the vehicles I previously recorded. At this point, I was handling all of the day-to-day operations.

The cars were then sent to a chop shop. The VIN numbers were filed down, and replaced with new ones. Once replaced, I was provided with fraudulent certificates of vehicle titles from the state of Ohio. It seemed like I was going back and forth to the Department of Motor Vehicles in Hapeville, Georgia, on a daily basis. The Ohio titles had to be swapped out for Georgia. No, ifs, ands or buts about it, that was an important step of the scam.

There were other areas of the business that required my attention. This was a major operation, and I could only be in one place at a time. Phae insisted that I enlist the help of my cousin, Sheree. She too was a go-getter and about her business as well. Anything having to do with making money, she was with it, and so was I…

On tonight’s episode, Peter and Cynthia discuss the scene Mallory made at their anniversary party. Cynthia seems ready to write off her sister at this point. Kandi and Kim have a sit down to clear the air. They discuss the comment about Kim not holding a black baby and how their collaboration with Kim’s music career put unnecessary stress on their friendship. They miss trips to the Bahamas, Connect Four games, and their girls playing together. Can I get a collective “Awwwww”? NeNe meets with her attorney to discuss the status of her divorce from Gregg. She is feeling scared about such a big decision, having been with Gregg for such a long time. The Neenster seems very vulnerable, but even in the lawyer’s office she’s cracking jokes. A new episode airs tonight at 9PM ET on Bravo. Watch a preview clip below.

The Bravo housewives curse strikes again as former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Lisa Wu Hartwell is now confirming she has indeed split from her husband Ed Hartwell.

Whispers of a split first began weeks ago after Lisa was spotted out and about at multiple events without her wedding ring or her husband.

Over the weekend, Lisa took to her twitter page to confirm the split after Ed changed his relationship status on his facebook page from married to separated. Lisa however denies the separation stemmed from money issues as was being reported by some media outlets.

“Sadly.We r separated but wld NEVER b over money. That is so far frm the truth. Wish ppl cld respect ppl’s privacy during times like these,” tweeted Lisa on Saturday.

Lisa, who is now going by her maiden name Lisa Wu, follows in the footsteps of DeShawn Snow, who also filed for divorce from her husband Eric Snow (he left her for his pregnant mistress) shortly after being fired from the RHOA by Bravo. Oddly enough, reports claimed Lisa was fired by the network because she refused to amp up her marital problems with Ed.

Lisa and Ed got married back in 2005 and have a 3-year-old son together, Ed. Jr. Lisa however has two older sons with ex-husband, R&B singer Keith Sweat.

TELL US – YOU SURPRISED BY THIS SPLIT? DO YOU BELIEVE THERE IS A HOUSEWIVES CURSE?

If you recall, in a recent interview, NeNe promised that the upcoming season of RHoA will finally reveal what led her to file for divorce from husband Gregg Leakes.

A week after that radio interview, the StraightFromTheA blog published photos of NeNe and husband (or possibly soon to be ex-husband) Gregg out on the town at New Orleans nightclub Belvedere Lounge during the 2011 Essence Festival! Although Gregg was hanging out in the corner and made sure NOT to be photographed with NeNe on the red carpet, they were definitely there together – and the photos prove it!

The story also alleges Gregg has been travelling with NeNe to Miami and LA in secret. Not accompanying the Leakes during these outings? Bravo camera crews!

The gossip around town is that NeNe and Gregg will never break up because they have too much dirt on each other (oh, please break up and write a tell-all Gregg!) but have decided to play the game to remain on Housewives.

Former housewife star Lisa Wu Hartwell was reportedly booted from the show because she refused to create fake drama for the series. A report came out back then alleging Bravo “basically wanted to script elements of Lisa’s life and make her amp up the drama. She wasn’t with that at all. Lisa felt like if her real life alone wasn’t enough for the network, then maybe it was time for her to go.” Things that make you wonder.

And finally, following the arrest of her son Bryson Bryant for stealing razors at a Walmart (yes you read that right), Nene visited Los Angeles over the weekend to attend the wedding of R&B singer Monica.

In fact she met up with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards and her husband Mauricio Umansky for dinner. Mauricio posted a photo of the threesome on his twitter page with the caption, “Fun dinner tonight with bi coastal housewives @neneleakes and @KyleRichards18.” Nene tweeted, “Thanks 4 supporting me & takin me out last nite n LA! Thanks 2 u guys, my stomach hurts LOL.” That pic is below!

In case you’re not aware by now, Bethenny Frankel is no longer a housewife on the Real Housewives of New York City.

Though Bravo wanted Bethenny, the clear fan favorite, to return for the show’s fourth season (currently being filmed), Bethenny decided she no longer wanted to do the show, instead opting to make guest appearances here and there a la Lisa Wu Hartwell on the Real Housewives of Atlanta.

According to a new report by Popeater, Bravo is now worried about what effect Bethenny’s absence will have on the show’s new season. “Bethenny is the biggest star the franchise has ever produced,” a Bravo insider reveals. “She not only connected with the most fans, but she also allowed the audience to laugh at how ridiculous the other ladies are. Without Bethenny making fun of the cast, the show just won’t be as much fun.”

Popeater adds that a main concern for Bravo is who will now call out Kelly Bensimon on her erratic/crazy/entertaining behavior. “Without Bethenny on the show, Kelly’s strange behavior is no longer funny, it’s just annoying,” adds the source.

Apparently Bravo became increasingly concerned after catching a glimpse of how the new season is going. Based on what they saw, they decided to ask Bethenny to return for more than the six appearances she is contractually obligated to make.

Bethenny, who is now gearing up for the second season of her Bravo spin off show, however doesn’t want to return for more appearances as she is ready to phase the NYC Housewives completely out of her life. Bethenny reportedly feels “physically sick” just thinking about having to return to the show, something she feels is a “toxic environment.”

A friend of Bethenny tells Popeater, “In her heart she wishes she could just move on.” The friend adds, “To tell the truth, she doesn’t even want to watch the new season let alone be forced to be part of it.” Ouch.

TELL US – DO YOU THINK BRAVO SHOULD BE WORRIED ABOUT A BETHENNY-LESS NYC HOUSEWIVES? THOUGHTS ON BETHENNY NOT WANTING TO RETURN TO THE SHOW?

Following the last episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, many fans of the show have been wondering about the marital status of Nene Leakes.

On the episode which was filmed months ago, Nene was shown visiting a divorce attorney and threatening to file for divorce from her husband of 13 years, Gregg Leakes. However, as written in our recent recap, there have been zero reports of a divorce filing in the press. So did she really file? Is she still with Gregg? Well, Nene answers all those questions in an exclusive interview with Essence.com.

Excerpts are below -

ESSENCE.com: There’s been so much scrutiny on your marriage lately. What has that been like?
LEAKES: I was having a really rough time because I wanted to speak out on that and I wanted people to understand that Gregg didn’t take me out of a strip club, let’s be very clear about that. We got together when he didn’t have a thing so I don’t know who the heck these people are out here saying this stuff because when we got together I was the breadwinner. I started a business and I brought Gregg on board and we became a couple later. And when we were able to live a comfortable life, it wasn’t because of what Gregg had done, it was because of what we had done together.

ESSENCE.com: When did you see the divorce lawyer?
LEAKES: You guys saw me sitting in the parking lot outside the attorney’s office which Bravo played backwards. In real life it didn’t happen that way. I filed months ago, before that audio even came out. When the audio did come out it just reassured me that I was doing the right thing. It bothered me because I had filed, but I was trying to work it out and he and I had just come back from a trip we had taken. Like two days after we came back, the audio came out.

ESSENCE.com: Are you scared of being on your own?
LEAKES: I am scared, but I’m taking baby steps. I’ve been with Gregg since I was 28, and I’m now 42. I thought I was a woman when I got with him, but I’m really a grown woman now. I’ve been with him for some of the best years of my life so it is scary for me to be like, ‘I’m gonna be on my own.’

ESSENCE.com: So are you and Gregg still together?
LEAKES: We are still together. We are in the same house and we are still legally married. But that’s not to say we won’t be unmarried.

ESSENCE.com: How is your relationship? Are you cordial?
LEAKES: We are cordial, and it is very much of an up and down thing. One day is good, the next day is bad. That’s what I’m really tired of. And I’m very aware that the 40s for me, are the new 30s and that I need to be happy because life is very short.

ESSENCE.com: What do you think Gregg is going through right now?
LEAKES: He’s going through a lot because he doesn’t want a divorce. He says he’s very much in love and he wants to stay married.

Must say Nene’s interview doesn’t help quiet the rumors that she might have played up her marital problems at the request of Bravo. Though she does state that she filed for divorce in the interview, nothing about a filing has been reported in the press. Perhaps the press just missed the news. Lisa Wu Hartwell has also claimed that she quit the show because Bravo “basically wanted to script elements of [her] life and make her amp up the drama.”

TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON NENE’S INTERVIEW? DO YOU THINK HER MARRIAGE WILL SURVIVE?

It’s a wedding! It’s a circus! Oh, it’s just the ridonkulous “Southern Baby Shower” of Phaedra Parks on the Real Housewives of Atlanta episode 4.

The episode starts out with Nene Leakes paying a visit to her plastic surgeon with her BFF Diana, whom we’ve never seen on the show before. Nene is determined to get her happy back, and what better way to do that than with new boobs, a new nose and a new stomach. Oddly enough, Nene doesn’t discuss a nose job with the Surgeon though she does hint to the doctor that she might decide to do something else on the day of the surgery.

Kim is shown at her home with a chef. Yes, Kim has a chef. At this point, I find myself trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong in my life as I have no chef, or personal assistant. That is until Kim announces a minute later that Big Poppa is back sponsoring her in her life, and I realize my big flaw is having morals and not sleeping with married men.

In a surprising scene, we get to meet the legends behind the woman known as Kim Zolciak as her parents make their first appearance on the show. Kim’s father, Joe Zolciak, is the star of this scene as he is basically a male version of Kim. Joe states Kim looks just like him, and he is right! Add a mustache on Kim, remove her wig, and you basically have Joe Zolciak. Kim shares she’s back with Big Poppa and her parents don’t seem to have an issue with the whorish actions of their daughter. “My parents adore Big Poppa,” states Kim.

Kim brings up her performance at the White Party, and her dad brings the lols when he states his daughter is a good singer. “I was very proud of her cause she is a very class individual… As a matter of fact, when she was in 8th grade, she sang a Christmas song and I had tears in my eyes because it was phenomenal,” states Kim’s dad. But then again, can you blame him? Who hasn’t cried upon hearing Kim sing?

“Supermodel” Cynthia and her boyfriend Peter, along with Phaedra and Dwight, are shown in a limo en route to a horse race. Upon entering the limo, Phaedra, who invited Cynthia and Peter, states that her husband Apollo isn’t coming because it isn’t his thing. Peter, who wasn’t that excited about the event to begin with, wishes he would have known this fact beforehand. And I have to agree with Peter, as something about this was a tad tactless. Phaedra should have informed Cynthia ahead of time that her husband was not coming so that way Peter could have made his decision based on that fact. Cynthia and Peter were under the assumption that this was a couple’s outing.

Cynthia also brings the lols when she states the always over the top “Phaedra looked like a Black Tammy Faye Bakker and Dwight looked like Willie Wonka.” Phaedra reveals she’s an Equestrian who has been riding since she was 7. As Cynthia tries to make polite convo with Phaedra, the topic turns to children and Phaedra states she did not want someone with “baggage” or “drama,” and wanted someone “clean” after Peter stated he had 5 kids. Oh, the irony! I mean how tactless & delusional is this woman? Cynthia, who I had pegged for being boring, brings the funny once again when she states, “Apollo taking showers in prison is the only way he can be cleaner than my man!”

Phaedra’s comments in the limo were so out of line and downright rude. I’m starting to question how this woman became an attorney? At age 50, Peter’s kids might have been from a past marriage or from the same woman. Who is she to judge? And the irony of a woman married to an ex-con passing judgement on someone else’s man is just mind blowing to me. Phaedra strikes me as one of those self absorbed people who goes through life rubbing people the wrong way, without even realizing it.

Despite Phaedra’s rude comments, Cynthia still keeps her cool and even holds Phaedra’s hand as they walk towards the horse racing. In her interview, Phaedra once again brags about being a “true Equestrian” except this time around, she’s been riding horses since the age of 8. Remember she said age 7 before?

Cynthia sums up Phaedra, very accurately I might add, when she states, “Phaedra is no doubt her biggest cheerleader. It’s just like Go Phaedra, go Phaedra, go Phaedra. And I’m like Girl put down the pom poms, Please put them down. We get it! I’m a lawyer! I’m an Equestrian!

Kim pays Kandi a visit in her studio, and Kandi uses this scene to promote to play her new music for Kim. The musical genius known as Kim has decided she’s ready to become a two hit wonder by recording a follow up to her first single ‘Tardy For The Party.’ Kandi suggests to Kim that they both do a promotional tour together and umm wasn’t Kandi just making fun of Kim’s lack of talent an episode ago? Me thinks the businesswoman in Kandi realizes the no talent wonder is able to bring in an audience despite her total lack of talent. In her interview, Kandi makes it clear once again that she will be getting paid this time around for her producing magic.

Nene‘s surgery is over and even a heavily sedated Nene cannot stop talking. For some odd reason, Nene wants to talk to Kim and Sheree. After talking to both ladies, Nene asks for her husband Gregg, who is nowhere to be found. And judging by the way Nene kept asking for her husband before and after the surgery, it’s all but obvious she still loves Gregg on some level, despite their marital issues.

Phaedra and Dwight decide to do a dance lesson, you know, so they can waltz at her very classy Southern baby shower. The dance instructor as well as the rest of the world wants to know why Phaedra’s husband is not doing this with her. Phaedra states Apollo is too “masculine, cave mannish” to do the waltz. So this makes event #2 that Phaedra’s husband does not want to participate in on this episode. At this point, I’m starting to wonder what the heck Phaedra and her husband have in common, and why she seems to be spending more time with Dwight than with him. As the season goes by, it’s becoming more and more apparent that this marriage isn’t as solid as Phaedra would like us to believe.

It’s time for the seminar with the fake Doctor Tiy-E Muhammad. Tiy-E has been revealed to be a fraud. He has no medical degree and is a former Clark Atlanta University associate professor who was fired for lying about his credentials. Poor Sheree, she truly believes this phony is a real doctor. As the seminar goes on, the Love Doctor pays attention to another woman in the audience, and Sheree looks to be a tad jealous for a quick second. The topic then turns to love and money. Tiy-E wants to know if Sheree would date a man who worked at a Payless shoe store. “How would I meet him?” quickly replies Sheree. I actually found that to be very funny. And is it me or is Sheree a tad more likable this season? The fake doctor asks Sheree out on a second date and she accepts.

Nene is home recovering with a nose that now looks a lot like Dwight’s. Kim pays her good friend a visit and Nene’s son Bryson does not approve of his mom’s surgery as he doesn’t think she needed it. In this cringe worthy scene, Nene dotes on her younger son Brent, stating that he has a perfect nose while Bryson just stands there. Nene just indirectly implied there is something wrong with Bryson’s nose. I’m guessing this isn’t the first time Bryson has heard his mom making such statements. Parents need to be careful in the things they say in front of their children. This scene is a perfect example of how kids grow up developing certain complexes about their looks.

And I’m far from being the PC Police, as I’ve stated numerous times on this blog that certain people who decided to get certain surgeries looked better post surgery. But I must say, I thought Nene’s nose looked completely fine before. She definitely did not need a nose job in my opinion. In fact, I think she looks worse now. A good nose job should always be subtle and the fact that the surgery is so obvious tends to be a good indication of a surgery gone wrong.

It’s the day of the wedding “Southern Baby Shower,” and we see Dwight getting his make-up done professionally. “I feel as though this is my big day as well,” declares Dwight. “I love Southern, and I love over the top,” states Phaedra. I’m not sure about the Southern part, but she definitely got the over the top part down with this Boughetto baby shower.

We find out this isn’t just any ol regular Southern baby shower, as this one has a dress code! The ladies are required to wear hats and dresses. Upon arriving, each lady is escorted in by a male escort. We can now add debutante ball to the long list of question marks pertaining to this circus. Lisa Wu Hartwell makes an appearance at the event and sits with Cynthia and Kandi. Bridezilla Phaedra, with her rhinestone make-up and a garden growing out of her hair, instructs Dwight not to allow anyone else to come into the event because they are tardy for the party as is.

The only thing funnier than this ridonkulous affair is the commentary by the ladies. “I love Phaedra but the rhinestones on the eyelashes are bourghetto. Bourgeois and ghetto at the same time!” says Kandi. ‘The roses in the hair? That was baaaad. That was probably Dwight’s idea,” says Cynthia. Kim, who would show up late to her own funeral, shows up late to the shower without a hat. Guessing someone forgot to share the memo with Kim.

“The Ballerinas at the shower was my idea. I don’t think people celebrate the arts quite enough. And since I am an Entertainment Attorney, I have a love of the arts,” states the pretentious/delusional Phaedra. Evidently, defending entertainers such as Too Short, Bobby Brown and Jermaine Dupri brings one closer to the arts.

“Like someone just please stab me in the neck and put me out of my misery,” states Cynthia. And with that statement, Bravo kindly puts us out of our miseries.

What an episode. I can’t stop laughing at the whole Southern baby shower debacle. And as someone who has been to a couple of baby showers in the “South,” no they are absolutely nothing like Phaedra’s, at all. Phaedra started out the season as somewhat likable and funny, but boy o boy, her true colors are starting to show and just like her makeup, it ain’t pretty! She is trying way too hard, and coming off as way too phony and pretentious. I mean, having to continuously announce she’s an Equestrian and how classy & Southern she is, geez, give it a break already. On top of all that, she’s arrogant and a tad ignorant. Despite it all, I do believe Phaedra does have a few ounces of intelligence. I believe she will watch herself this season, hopefully see how she comes across to others, and make some changes within herself.

TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON LAST NIGHT’S EPISODE & THE SOUTHERN BABY SHOWER?

An all new episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta coming tonight!

On the 4th episode this season, titled ‘Petty Boughetto,’ Cynthia and her boyfriend Peter join Phaedra and Dwight for a day at the Steeple Chase, but before they can even arrive, Cynthia and Peter are put on the spot on the future of their relationship.

And it is a true down south, ladies-who-lunch celebration when the day of Phaedra’s baby shower finally arrives! But when some of the other ‘wives continue to chatter about Phaedra’s less-than-perfect father-to-be, will it spoil the special day? Also, former housewife Lisa Wu Hartwell makes a special appearance at Phaedra’s baby shower.

We will also get to see Nene Leakes as she undergoes her nose job. The new episode airs tonight at 9/8c on Bravo.

In other Atlanta news, Bravo announced today that starting November 7, the Real Housewives of Atlanta will move to Sunday nights at 10/9c. Watch What Happens Live will also be making the move to Sunday. No reason was given for the change in schedule.

TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON TONIGHT’S EPISODE?

Following a dramatic premiere episode, we are now onto week 2 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Episode 2 starts out with Kim Zolciak and her assistant Sweetie going for a beer run or walk or something. One hit wonder Pop star Kimmy feels she needs to look great, you know, considering she is a big pop star and all now. The two end their run by re-hydrating with a beer.

We see a very pregnant Phaedra at her workplace. The attorney is meeting up with a non-celebrity client of hers who was arrested for marijuana possession, and no, it is not Nene’s son Bryson, just in case you were wondering. “Unfortunately, 1 in 3 black men will be indicted for a felony and do some prison time. Instead of us punishing people who have obviously served their time, we really need to embrace them so that they don’t have to go back into crime,” states Phaedra, who is obviously doing her part by marrying an ex-con shortly after his release.

Kandi is in the studio working with renowned producer/singer Neyo. Once the two get done complimenting each other, the topic turns to pro tools and auto tune, during which Kandi shares she never got paid for the work she did on Kim’s single ‘Don’t Be Tardy For The Party.’ Kandi reveals Kim likely made over $80,000 from the single sales and promises not to work for free anymore. Anyone familiar with the music industry will have you know the people who write the songs make the most money from the music sales. So basically, had Kandi and Kim done things the right away, Kandi would have earned more money from the sales of the song than Kim.

Sheree has decided to get back into the dating scene and her annoying over the top hair stylist/BFF Lawrence is on hand to help her get ready for her blind date. And I wonder, does Sheree have any real friends other than this hair stylist?

The second new housewife of the season, Cynthia Bailey, is introduced. Cynthia, who refers to herself as a “supermodel” is described as being a friend of Nene’s. Cynthia also describes herself as a runaway bride who has been given an ultimatum by her boyfriend Peter Thomas. The two own a downtown lounge/club called Uptown, which Kandi is conveniently planning on using to showcase her new music. Cynthia is a single mother of one, as she has a daughter with actor Leon.

Sheree arrives for her blind date and judging from her dramatic reaction, I almost assumed the “Doctor” had brought her to a strip club. But no, it wasn’t a strip club, just a regular dance spot. Immediately, Sheree finds a flaw with her date, accusing him of getting her cheap flowers from a Kroger. For those of you not familiar with Kroger, it is a grocery store chain that is popular in the South. Once she got over the Kroger flowers and the loud laugh, Sheree decides she’s having a good time with her “cute” date, making certain to emphasize his good looks more than once. Judging by a photo of her ex-husband Bob Whitfield, can’t say I blame her.

As for the good “doctor,” an article by the Atlanta Constitution Journal reveals Tiy-E Muhammad isn’t even a real doctor, but a famewhore rather, who appeared on a 2005 reality show titled “The Real Gilligan’s Island.” Tiy-E is reportedly a former Clark Atlanta University associate professor who calls himself a psychologist on his Web site and book jacket covers, though he is not licensed to practice psychology in Georgia or anywhere else.

Moving right along. Kim receives a call to come and perform her “hit” song in front of “the largest gay dance party” in the entire world. Kim reveals she has a huge gay following, so this performance is right up her alley. Kim is even nice enough to ask the event organizer if she can bring Kandi along. Bring Kandi along for what? To be her back-up dancer? Her back-up singer? Can someone please inform Kim that Kandi is a professional with a career and better things to do than to follow the one hit wigged wonder around the country.

Nene is shown having a conversation with troubled son Bryson, who has been arrested twice this year alone for possession of marijuana. Bryson wants to move back in and Nene reveals she put him out for not working, not being in school, not following rules etc. We see an emotional Nene schooling Bryson on the pain she feels to see her son not doing well in life. Following Nene’s emotional plea, Bryson seizes the moment as an opportunity to let her know she’s too hard on him. Nene doesn’t take too well to Bryson’s comments but reluctantly allows him to move back in, giving him 90 days to get his life together. Perhaps it’s the softie in me but I’m glad Nene decided to give Bryson another chance. I feel turning him away again will likely only lead to more trouble, making him a statistic. One can only hope Bryson is able to get his life together.

It’s the day of the performance and Kandi issues a plea to the handsome Peter Thomas, requesting he keep Nene away from Dwight as to prevent any further drama. Phaedra arrives with Dwight and reveals he is a bit nervous about being around the other ladies. Phaedra gives the best quote of the episode when she states, “If you’ll act the fool in public, you’ll act the fool anywhere.”

At the event, Sheree’s hairstylist Lawrence, who might or might not be trying to replace Dwight as the messy gay friend, brings up the fact that Apollo went to prison. The intelligent Kim speculates that Apollo might have murdered someone, because he was in prison for a whole 6 years. Sheree gives a low blow when she speculates about Apollo’s sexuality in her interview, insinuating he might be gay because he was in prison for years and knows her openly gay hair stylist Lawrence. I just thought Sheree’s comments were a bit much, below the belt, and unnecessary.

Kandi gives an excellent performance but the only thing better than her performance were the highlarious thoughts of her co-stars during the performance. Phaedra states she’s loving Kandi’s singing but is more worried about “Dwight getting jumped by these crazy heifers.” I’m still laughing at that one. Phaedra definitely brings the funny.

Upon the conclusion of Kandi’s performance, Cynthia decides she would rather not have Nene acting out in her classy uptown club and offers her a private room to talk to Dwight. Nene approaches Dwight and he reluctantly agrees to talk to her. Dwight denies telling Kim that Gregg asked him for $10,000 and Nene gets emotional again when she tells Dwight she has been hurt by some of his actions. Dwight is mature about things and offers Nene an apology. Nene accepts his apology but states in her interview that she “can forgive but cannot forget.”

TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE RECAP AND LAST NIGHT’S EPISODE?

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Nene Leakes is speaking out about her personal life in an all new interview.

In an interview with TV Guide, the outspoken housewife discusses her family drama, why she no longer talks to axed castmate Lisa Wu Hartwell, and why she believes new housewife Phaedra Parks is jealous of her.

Excerpts are below -

TVGuide.com: Even though you haven’t seen it yet, I can also tell you that the first episode shows you and Dwight coming to blows. What happened there? What did we miss in the off-season?
Leakes: What everyone doesn’t know is that we don’t talk on a regular basis. We were never the kind of friends that call each other every day … He and I were never that way. I know it may have appeared differently on the show. I did really like him and respect him, but one of the reasons that we hadn’t talked for a really long time is I felt that he had been doing things that weren’t worthy of a friendship.

TVGuide.com: You mean the deal between Dwight and Greg. (In the premiere, Kim tells NeNe that Dwight had been saying NeNe’s husband Greg had asked him for a $10,000 loan; Greg denies it.) Does the truth of that situation come out?
Leakes: I think so. I’m pretty sure. I know we address the issue. I am very clear today about what happened, but at the time, I was not. You guys will see.

TVGuide.com: This season you deal with your son being arrested and your marital problems with Greg. Was it more difficult to keep filming than it has been in previous seasons?
Leakes: Yes. I go through a lot this season, emotionally, in my personal life and with my children. I think you’re going to see me go through a lot with my family. I will say that one thing I am is a very good mom. I’m not like a lot of moms today. I was raised strict and I’m pretty strict with my boys. Also, you guys have never seen Greg and I really disagree; you’ll see a lot of that this season. It was tough though. Really emotional scenes are draining. If you are crying and having an emotional moment in front of the camera, those are the times I want to run out of the damn house and cry by myself. It’s just hard when you know people are looking.

TVGuide.com: How are you and Greg now?
Leakes: Greg and I, you know, we’re still husband and wife. We’re still married. No matter what happens, we will hopefully be friends.

TVGuide.com: There are two new housewives this season, Phaedra Parks and Cynthia Bailey. Cynthia’s not in the premiere, but Phaedra is. So far we know she’s a hotshot lawyer — and she’s got some strong opinions about you already.
Leakes: I knew Phaedra before. I didn’t know her personally, but we are from the same home town. We went to the same high school. I’m a little bit older. When we were in school — and I can say this because she told me this herself — she would say to me, “I’ve always looked up to you. I’ve always admired you.” I was very popular in high school. Once she was on this show though? She never really talked to me or spoke to me. It was strange. She had nothing at all to say to me. I felt like there was some type of jealousy there. … I will tell you I had heard that Phaedra always thought she was always glamorous or fabulous, I guess. I never saw that. I heard that a lot when we were filming, that she thought she was a diva and a “real Southern belle.” I was like, “Well, we’re from Athens, Ga.,” so I don’t think she’s a Southern belle.” She’s country.

TVGuide.com: Do you keep in touch with Lisa now that she’s off the show?
Leakes: No, I don’t talk to Lisa at all. I didn’t get to know her until the second season. We were really cool, even though … Look, I’m a very good judge of character. I should win a damn award for being a good judge of character. I get you right away. I get it. And so, as Lisa and I hung out more, I got her. That’s all I can really say. I got her. I got who she was. I was OK with who she was, but we could not be good friends. We could be friendly, and work together and even have a drink together. But as far as me crying on her shoulder or telling her secrets, I wouldn’t.

A new episode of the Atlanta Housewives airs next Monday on Bravo at 9/8c.
