Um, when you start to mess with Benzino, you're messing with this girl. It's no secret that the neckless wonder is my favorite person from the entire Love & Hip Hop franchise. He's equal parts harmless and unintentionally hilarious. So to the idiot who shot him while he was en route to his mother's funeral (yes, you read all of that correctly), shame on you. What is this world coming to?
Obviously, 'Zino is thankfully doing alright after the ordeal, and I know this courtesy of Stevie J.'s Instagram. Could this story get any more twisted? The Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star is recuperating after being rushed to the hospital following a shooting which occurred during his mother's funeral procession. I don't even know what to make of this situation.
Mark my words…one day Mona Scott-Young is going to take over the world. How else can it be explained that the Love & Hip Hop franchise remains so popular? The messier it gets, the more people want to watch–myself included! The woman is an evil genius, I tell you!
As fans of the VH1 train wrecks (yes, plural) are well aware, the casts of both New York and Atlanta are virtual revolving doors of ratchetness. I don't know why some hip hop artists would choose to become famous for their drama as opposed to their talent, but it seems like a pretty regular occurrence with these folks!
So Mona Scott-Young may be getting sued? Who knew that Love & Hip Hop would ever be the subject of a law suit that wasn't based on someone getting injured in a show-related brawl? Is the idea for that franchise so popular that multiple people thought of the concept at the same time? If that is the case, should we be worried about our culture? Probably, but Mona wins with the discovery of Stevie J. for sure!
MTV and VH1 are apparently being sued for infringement due to Mona's brainchild. However, as the show's creator, Mona has yet to see any formal paperwork. In fact, like us, she's only read about it in the blogs! It seems that someone is claiming that Mona stole their idea for a hip hop reality show. Can't we all just get along? There is plenty of room in the reality realm for multiple trashy shows, right?
I realize that I have the benefit of hindsight, but I think I could have told anyone months ago that the two skeeziest (and therefore most entertaining) stars of Love & Hip Hop: Atlantaopening a restaurant/bar/club would not have been the best idea. And, of course, I would have been right. Duh!
Besties Stevie J. and no-neckBenzino had the grand opening of their "bistro bar" Sleazy & Zino which ended up in a big ol' mess…as is par for the course with this crew. It's been reported that the fight was instigated by Joseline Hernandez' friend, and Karlie Redd was knocked out in the process. There was even talk that VH1 wouldn't allow regular old folks like you and me party with the cast for fear of a lawsuit in the event of yet another violent outburst. Good times with these guys, for sure!
Well, it's a good thing that Laura Govan isn't returning to Basketball Wives: L.A. because breaking the law doesn't make for a good story line! Oh wait, this is VH1, so yes, yes, it probably does! Laura was just slapped with a lawsuit which alleges she violated federal law. That's never good!
It's settled. I know where I'm eating the next time I'm in the ATL. Clearly everyone in Atlanta is going to flocking to the city's newest hotspot for cocktails and dinner. Who wouldn't want to dine at Sleazy & Zino Bistro and Bar? I'd like to make a standing reservation.
That's right, Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta's gruesome twosome, Stevie J. and Benzino have decided to milk their fifteen minutes of fame for all it's worth and open up a themed eatery. I wonder if it's decorated like a log cabin full of hot tubs, threesomes, and terribly bad decisions?
Welp, the above picture just happened. As you all know, I have a soft spot in my heart (and a sympathy crick in my neck) for Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta'sBenzino. He tries so hard to be a good friend. He hosts intimate gatherings at his rustic cabin. He accidentally leaks naked pictures of himself on the Internet…I love him.
Now, Benzino is stepping up to help out a friend? Who is he hyping? And just what is that person promoting? Think long and hard…it's the natural progression with reality stars or reality star creators. Is it a cookbook? Perhaps a line of hair extensions? Nah. Maybe a butt enhancing workout video? Give up?
I honestly find the crew from this season's Love & Hip Hop more and more amusing as the season continues. It's not because the show is getting more ridiculous (although it is), but it's because the cast is speaking out about said ridiculousness. The more they try to explain it, the more hilarious the situation becomes.
First, Peter Gunz announced that he didn't like the way he came across as he played Tara Wallace and Amina Buddafly against one another. He's tired of living a double life, y'all! Next, Tara felt the need to "clarify" her reasons for sleeping with Peter after she found out he'd married Amina behind her back, thus causing her to stock up on Plan B. Now, Amina is adding her two cents, and it just keeps getting better! Did you know she'd never seen the show before agreeing to be on it?
