I have always loved Dorinda Medley, but it is so hard to figure out what her motivation is when she stirs the pot with the Real Housewives of New York cast. I can’t tell if she just wants everything to be out in the open or if she just wants to incite drama for the show. I go back and forth with it and wonder if the ladies are going to call her out during the reunion episodes.
It’s very clear where Carole Radziwill stands on this one. She is clearly not a fan of Dorinda or her antics.
Luann may be madly in love with Tom, but she spends an awful lot of time defending him since Tom seems to have spread his love all around Manhattan, and her co-stars, who also partook in Tom‘s party favors, aren’t doing Luann’s engagement any favors by continuing to disparage it. Once again, Lu is fed up!
Even though I have to, I don’t really want to discuss the ruminating super drama between Bethenny Frankel and Luann de Lesseps. Instead I’d like to focus on the positive and give a prodigious shout-out to Sonja Tremont Morgan, a lady who has turned over a new leaf and out flew a butterfly. Hats off – designer hats with no repairs, that is – to Sonja for being Real Housewives Of New York‘s class-act last night!
The ladies are all yachting around while talking in circles about Tom. Tom-T-Tom-Tom-TOOOM. Poor Sonja has a harness on her dress to holster in her heart nice and tight. But that thing looks uncomfortable and like her boobs were begging for as much mercy as her poor little broken pitter-patter. Sonja admits to Carole Radziwill and Ramona Singer that, well, maybe she’s a little nervous about seeing Tom because well, maybe, she had deeper feelings for him than she let on, and well, Luann is just not really interested in addressing this. Furthermore, Sonja had no idea that Lu knew she and Tom were a thing.
I really do like Jules Wainstein, but I just don’t know if this whole reality TV thing is for her. She doesn’t contribute much to the story lines and she doesn’t have great commentary about the women who actually do.
During one of Andy Cohen‘s radio shows this week (Live with Andy Cohen on Sirius XM), Jenny McCarthy stopped by to chat with him about TheReal Housewives of New York. The two chatted about Bethenny Frankel‘s behavior this season and Jenny revealed which Real Housewives have been her favorite and least favorite to interview on her own radio show.
Jenny says that RHONY has been so fun to watch this season but she’s noticed a turn in the audience against Bethenny. “You want there to be some drama, but you are smart to know when an audience turns on somebody, you’re a little wary. Do you have a talk with Bethenny since she’s like your queen?”
Carole gushes over the Shahs of Sunset, “It is authentic; it is real. You guys really love each other, and when you hate each other, you really hate. It is the difference between great reality and…” MJ interjects, “Fluff.”
Andy plays the “Gloating while Boating” clip of Luann de Lesseps for Carole. Carole says she has never seen Luann happier. MJ, who is just as incapable of keeping her mouth shut as she is of keeping her boobs inside her clothing, says Luann is way over the top with the whole relationship. Carole admits she’s a little bit over the top, but adds, “But it was actually really sweet.”
