Chad scored the lowest points on Monday night and the viewers votes weren’t enough to keep him safe. Joining him in the bottom two was ESPN reporter Erin Andrews and her boyfriend partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
And despite being voted off, Chad reacted positively. “This was awesome,” said Chad to co-host Tom Bergeron. “I enjoyed the journey, I met some wonderful people. I got some great criticism that’s only made me stronger, man. And I met… the beautiful Cheryl Burke, and in my eyes really, I’ve already won… So this is beautiful.”
Moving on to Monday’s finale show alongside Erin are Evan Lysacek andNicoleScherzinger. Nicole continues to remain the favorite to win it all, leading some to believe she has an unfair advantage because of her profession as a dancer and lead singer for the Pussycat Dolls.
The three remaining finalists will each have to perform a total of 4 dances for next week’s finale.
Erin and Maks are however not giving up despite being heavy underdogs.”We just come out and humbly try to do our best. And the last three weeks have shown that we can be here. We are underdogs, but you never know!” said Maks to EOnline.
Also returning next week will be Kate Gosselin and all the other eliminated contestants, who will all perform one last dance. It is also being reported that former Bachelor Jake Pavelka and fiance Vienna Girardi will dance together on the finale show on Tuesday.
TELL US – DOES NICOLE HAVE AN UNFAIR ADVANTAGE WITH BEING A PROFESSIONAL DANCER?
It put up or shut up time on Dancing With The Stars with the semifinals airing last night. And while all the dancing couples excelled, two dominated and tied for a score of 59.
Professional Celebrity dancers Nicole Scherzingerand Evan Lysacek are still the lead favorites after their flawless performances from last night. Nicole and partner Derek earned a 30 score for their “divine” Argentine tango, and a score of 29 for their cha-cha dance. “You’ve got to be there,” Len said, in reference to next week’s finale.
Evan and his partner Anna Trebunskaya also earned a 30 score for their paso doble and a 29 for their fox-trot. Len said he loved seeing Evan’s “happy-go-lucky, fun side.”
In third place was Erin Andrews and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy. The still rumored to be dating couple scored a 27 for their fluent Viennese waltz dance, though Bruno mistakenly gave them a “premature paddle” score of 10 instead of the 9 he intended. A 29 score for their paso doble dance gave them a total of 56 points. In last place was NFL player Chad Ochocinco with a score of 52. Overall all the couples performed well.
In other DWTS news, pro dancer Derek Hough celebrated his 25th birthday last night at the H Lounge club in Los Angeles. In attendance were all of his DWTS cast as well as former Bachelor star Jake Pavelka and his fiance Vienna Girardi.
The five remaining stars on season 10 of Dancing With The Stars were described as the Perfectionist, the Football Hero, the Golden Boy, the Pussycat and the Jiggly One.
One thing that became very clear last night was that the ‘Pussycat’ is the one to beat this season. Nicole Scherzinger and her partner Derek Hough were almost perfect last night. The dancing couple received a total score of 59 for their two dances, even receiving a perfect score of 30 for their 1950s-style paso doble.
Tying for second place are Olympic skater Evan Lysacek, and ESPN reporter Erin Andrews. Both stars received a total score of 53 for the night. While Nicole came in first place last night, stealing the show was Erin and her partner Maksim, for their very hot and aggressive Argentine tango, which included a flying leap by Erin off the stage and onto Maksim’s shoulders. “Hot!” declared Carrie Ann Inaba, and “Loved it!” added Len, who actually gave the duo a 10 score.
At the bottom of the pack this week are Niecy Nash and Chad Ochocinco. Niecy came in last place with a total score of 43, and not too far up is Chad with a total score of 45 for his two dances.
Tonight is elimination night, as we are just 2 weeks away from the finale. Only 3 couples will make it to the May 24th finale and its looking like Erin, Evan and Nicole will be the three.
Also rounding up the bottom two with Erin was Pamela Anderson, who was eliminated from the show last night. “This has been one of the best experiences of my life and that says a lot,” laughed Pamela after hearing the elimination news.
Pam also showed gratitude to her Australian partner Damian Whitewood. “Damian’s amazing. I just want to thank him. I never knew that I could dance or I don’t really know if I can dance yet, but he just helped me so much,” she said. “I just want to thank you very much for doing this and I’m sure he’s going to be around a really long time with you guys.”
Moving on from Pam’s elimination. The big DWTS headline today is the trashy and despicable comments made by Elisabeth Hasselbeckon Tuesday’s episode of The View. Host Elisabeth, 32, criticized Erin Andrews, who has faced two separate stalking incidents in the past year, for dressing too sexy on DWTS.
Now there’s no harm in criticising Erin for the way she dresses on the show, but the harm came when Elisabeth decided to make light of Erin’s stalking incidents, almost putting some blame on her despite the fact that she was a victim. “In light of what happened and as a legal [matter] — and as inexcusable as it was for that horrific guy to go in and try to peep on her in her hotel room,” Elisabeth said. “I mean, in some way if I’m him, I’m like, ‘Man! I just could’ve waited 12 weeks and seen this — a little bit less — without the prison time!’”
This ofcourse led to outrage from both viewers and the cast of DWTS. The following comments were posted by some of the cast mmbers:
Maksim – “I’m the one designing @ErinAndrewsESPN’s dresses for the show, so I’ll just assume that @ehasselbeck is jealous…and stupid 4 her comments.“
Evan Lysacek - “So disappointed that anyone would attack @ErinAndrewsESPN after all she’s been through.”
Niecy Nash – “Elizabeth Hassleback’s comments about @ErinAndrewsESPN. Insensitive, in poor taste and remedial and foolish.
Must say Niecy Nash’s comment is spot on. To make matters worse, yesterday was Erin’s 32nd birthday. Erin, who says she cried after hearing Elisabeth’s comments had the following to say: “I think people can have opinions about the show, but my biggest complaint is she’s a woman and a mother and it was a mockery of something I’ve lived through this last year. … I felt like it was a slap in the face for victims of stalkers and victims of sexual predators.”
Elisabeth appeared on The View Wednesday morning and issued a tearful apology to Erin, saying she had also called her to apologize.
I have so much to say about this but I think Erin and Niecy said it best. It’s one thing for Elisabeth to criticize Erin for her outfits on the show, but to make light of her being stalked and victimized is so cruel, unnecessary and out of line.

There are six couples remaining on Dancing With The Stars and judging from last night’s show, any couple can be eliminated tonight as only 5 points seperates the first and last place couple.
The night began with Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, the duo earned a score of 27 (their highest yet) for their well praised quickstep dance. Also receiving a 27 score was Pussycat doll Nicole Scherzinger and partner Derek Hough for their pure Waltz.
The highest score of the night and the first perfect score of the season went to Olympic figure skater Evan Lysacek, who received a 30 for his flawless Argentine Tango. A big improvement for Evan who only scored a 21 last week.
The six couples then split into two groups, Team Madonna and Team Gaga, to compete in a cha cha dance off. The scores from the dance off would end up shaking up the scoreboard. Team Madonna, consisting of Evan, Erin and Niecy, received a score of 24 for their dance to Madonna’s Holiday, while Team Gaga, consisting of Pamela, Nicole, and Chad, received a higher score of 27 for dancing to Lady Gaga’s hit ‘Telephone.‘
This week can also be considered a birthday week on DWTS as Cheryl Burke celebrated her birthday yesterday, receiving over 10 gifts from her partner Chad Ochocinco. And Erin Andrews is also celebrating her 32nd birthday today. According to Erin, her birthday wish is to remain on the show ofcourse.
The stars danced on Monday night to either the Argentine tango or the samba, concluding the night with a first ever three minute swing marathon. Coming in first place for the second week in a row was Nicole Scherzinger and her partner Derek Hough. The duo received a score of 26 for their sizzling samba. A score of 10 for their swing marathon put them at the top of the leaderboard with a total of 36.
Coming in second place for the first time ever was ESPN reporter Erin Andrewsand partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who thankfully ended up shirtless by the end of a hot and sexy samba dance. “You nailed it!” applauded judge Carrie Ann. The dancing couple received their best score yet of the season, a 25. Coming in second place at the swing marathon contest gave them a total score of 34.
Surprisingly coming in 5th place this week was Evan Lysacek, who’s samba dance failed to impress the judges. Evan, who has been in the top two the entire season, received a score of 21 for what the judges called his “worst dance” yet. Coming in 5th place during the swing marathon put him at a total of 27.
In last place this week was the Bachelor’s Jake Pavelka, who received a score of 21 for his samba dance. Jake, who was the first eliminated in the swing competition, ended the night with a total score of 25. Another couple will be given the boot in the results show tonight.
The eight remaining couples of Dancing With The Stars hit the stage Monday night during a special ‘Moving Night’ edition of the hit show.
Coming in first place was Nicole Scherzingerand Derek Hough’s Pretty Woman-inspired tango. The duo received a standing ovation from the crowd to go along with their almost perfect score of 29. Judge Len called it “the best dance of the season so far.” Carrie Ann Inaba added, “Every moment, you could have taken a snapshot and it would have just been art.”
Olympic ice skater Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya found themselves in second place this week, ending their two consecutive weeks at the top. They received a high score of 27 for their rumba dance to “I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing,” from Armageddon.
Jake Pavelka found himself in 3rd place for the first time this season with the 23 score he received for donning his tighty whiteys while dancing the cha-cha to “Old Time Rock & Roll” from Risky Business. In fourth place was Erin Andrews and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy. The duo received a score of 22 for their Pulp Fiction dance. Perhaps it’s just me, but I thought they performed better than a 22.
In last place for the second straight week was reality mom Kate Gosselin, who seemed to take a few step backwards after receiving the Judges’ praises for her performance last week. Kate was shown once again in rehearsals bitching at questioning her partner Tony Dovolani every step of the way. She looked to be taking a stroll rather than dancing as she attempted to fox trot to the Breakfast Club movie. Kate deservedly received harsh criticism for the judges. Bruno called the performance “catatonic.” He added, “Tony could have gotten more life out of a frock on a coat hanger.” Ouch.
Tonight brings us the fifth week of Dancing With The Stars. The theme for tonight is ‘Movie Night.’ The eight remaining couples will be doing the Jive, Quickstep, Cha Cha Cha, Tango, Foxtrot and Rumba to iconic songs from famous films such as “Pulp Fiction,” “Breakfast Club” and “Risky Business,” among others.
Niecy Nash and Louis Van Amstel will reportedly be dancing the Jive to “La Bamba,” while rumored couple Erin Andrews and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy will also dance the Jive to the “Pulp Fiction” movie.
The most interesting dance of the night will likely be The Bachelor’sJake Pavelka who will sporting his tighty whiteys to recreate Tom Cruise’s popular underwear scene from RiskyBusiness, set to the tune of “Old Time Rock ‘n Roll.” Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough will be dancing the Tango to a scene from Pretty Woman. Another rumored couple Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke will perform a Quickstep to “The Bare Necessities” from The Jungle Book.
