Caroline Manzo and Michelle Williams were the guests in the clubhouse on Watch What Happens Live last night and of course Caroline was asked a lot of questions relating to the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion episode that aired right before her appearance.
First up, Andy shows the ladies Gia Giudices’s girl group’s music video (a cover of Britney Spears’ Circus) and Michelle says it’s not a big thing and Caroline says it’s at the cusp of not being okay but it’s not bad. Note: we at first opted not to share the video when it released on Friday because of Gia’s age and other factors, but since it’s now a part of the WWHL episode, we’ll share it below..with the warning that you can bash Teresa Giudice’s parenting all you want, but any nasty comments about Gia or name calling directed at Gia will be deleted and will not be debated by our moderator.
Andy next shows Caroline footage of Teresa from part 1 of the reunion where she says she never hit below the belt. Caroline says “of course she hit below the belt, we all hit below the belt. Just admit that you hit below the belt. We saw it. There’s no denying what we see.”
Caroline on Teresa’s comments that she doesn’t miss Jacqueline: “I think she’s trying to project that she doesn’t care, but it’s clear that she does care. she gets emotional when she reads her texts, she can’t talk about it, she gets teary eyed, so I think she does care but doesn’t want to say it.”
Former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Caroline Manzo has never been one to mince words. In her five years starring on the show, she was often the voice of reason to her castmates, no matter what the consequences — good or bad — may have been.
Well, now as she gets ready to wrap the first season of Manzo’d With Children, Caroline is opening up about her former costars and what the future may hold for her new show and her family.
This week on Manzo’d With Children we saw something very rare — one of the Manzo children made a major decision without consulting mama Caroline Manzo. Normally, you would think — “Well, it’s about time, these kids are adults!”
But the problem this time was not that Lauren Manzo did not consult her mother before she made major renovations to her business — including construction and a name change. The problem was that she did not consult her business partner and investor, who just also happens to be her mother.
On this episode of Manzo’d With Children, it looks like a typical summer day in the Manzo household with Albie and Christopher practicing their chip shot in the backyard and Lauren moping around them. Caroline decides to drop the bomb that they are heading to good ole Austin Texas next week to do some research on BBQ sauce. It’s the last family vacay before Lauren gets married and Caroline wants to make sure her bbq sauce is competitive with other brands out there before it hits the shelves. The whole family is on board and this should be fun!
As they’re packing their stuff up, we learn Albie and Christopher’s dog died last Christmas and the last memory they have is of him peeing on their luggage. Gross. Across the hallway, Lauren is packing stilettos and might want to throw in some gym shoes because you know, Texas has dirt. Good God. Christopher is eager to get to Texas and experience some authentic Texas goodies (gun fights, big hair, etc.). While I appreciate their stabs at humor, it’s just very Paris Hilton/Nicole Richie-esque and not funny at all. Meanwhile, we learn Abie is now not eating meat and it’s apparently huge drama as Texas might not have any white meat for him. Oiy!
Albie Manzo and Chris Manzoare having their friends over for a casual night of cards and fun. In true high school fashion, Caroline interrupts the party the party in the basement to tell the boys to keep it down. Brittney is among the guests and Caroline compliments on her top (which happens to consist of a peach-colored Kleenex and some dental floss (bonus: it has pockets!) on her way out. Caroline is a tad concerned as Brit-Brit is showing her face more often than she expected.
