Most of the rumors were true. Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson will dance. When asked how her family reacted to the news, Sadie said, “They thought it was hilarious. We don’t really have that much dancing experience in the family, but it’s going to be really funny to see them all at the show.”
But a few of the rumors missed the mark. Bachelorette star Andi Dorfman did not make the cut. I’m not sad about it. Oh, you know who else is missing? THE STARS. Seriously, if I have to Google more than half of the cast, they are not stars. <sigh> Check out the complete list below and let us know what you think.
Last night Kim Kardashian was at the VMAs sans her musical genius husband Kanye West. Kim attended with her sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner and she also came on stage to introduce Sam Smith’s performance. Did anyone watch the VMAs? They had SNL’s Jay Pharaoh on the show, doing bits pretending to be Jay Z. and then Kanye. Kendall and Kylie were in hysterics and Kim was smiling blankly at the camera and looking at her sisters like “Whaaat did he say? Should I be laughing?” I added the video below.
Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to social media to share even more of their daily lives with us. And we love them for it! Here's a roundup of some of our favorite photos from this week! Enjoy!
Above:Gretchen Rossi tweeted, "All I wanted after this weekend's fashion show (wearing a bikini in front of 3,000 people) was ice cream! So Slade Smiley found me an ice cream store and I had my favorite mint chocolate chip!"
Below are photos of the remaining season 18 stars – Amy Purdy, Billy Dee Williams, Candace Cameron Bure, Charlie White, Cody Simpson, Danica McKellar, Diana Nyad, Drew Carey, James Maslow, Meryl Davis, & Sean Avery – with their pro partners.
ABC revealed the season 18 cast of Dancing with the Stars yesterday. The cast consists mostly of athletes, pop stars, and uber popular 90s sitcom stars. Then there's NeNe Leakes. Then there's a real [movie] star. Bloop.
New this season are Erin Andrews, who has replacedBrook Burke as Tom Bergeron's co-host, and the Switch Up twist. For the first time ever, the stars will dance with new pro partners – chosen by America's votes – at some point in the season.
Personally, I'm not excited about either addition, Erin or the twist that reeks of desperation, but oh well. Also – noTristan MacManus. Someone at ABC hates me. Anyway, check out the cast photos and bios below, as well as a few candid shots of NeNe and Tony.
