Oh Stevie J! You’re getting it from all sides, but this time, it’s not a good thing. The Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star recently got the smack down from the other woman Joseline after attempting a three-way therapy session. Now it seems that Mimi Faust has become a bit more forceful in her anti-Stevie ways. That is shocking to me, how about you?
Apparently the “couple” (and I use that term very loosely) was recently invited to do an interview. However, when Stevie’s arrogance got in the way (who knew THAT would be a problem?), Mimi decided to smack him from here to kingdom come. While I’m proud of her assertiveness (yet not condoning violence), I wish she had exhibited some of her ballsiness on screen.
Oh, Love & Hip Hop Atlanta! You rose to a new high last night…or did you sink to a new low? It’s so very hard to tell!
Stevie J. and Mimi Faust take their precious daughter to the park. I initially think that Mimi is overwhelmed with Stevie’s attempt at family time, but Mimi doesn’t trust him as far as she can throw him. I’d say “good for her” but I doubt this will last long. Stevie proposes that he, Mimi, and Joseline all go to counseling together. What? He has some major cajones. Of course, he could sell milk to a cow, and he has Mimi considering the session.
Mimi wears a fabulous dress to visit K. Michelle in the studio. She reveals to K. Michelle that she dumped Stevie’s belongings in his friend’s driveway, and she wants the pair to get counseling. K. Michelle wants to know if Mimi hopes that counseling will rekindle the couple’s relationship or just allow them to co-parent. Mimi explains that she just wants counseling so the couple can be in the same room together. Something tells me she’s talking tougher than she actually feels. K. Michelle shares her new song with Mimi that was inspired by Mimi’s struggles. Wow, it’s quite the literal interpretation of Mimi’s issues. I’m a tad worried that Mimi will be offended, but she loves the rendition.
If you didn’t think the scripted drama of VH1′s train wreck Love & Hip Hop Atlanta could get any more ridiculous, you would be sorely mistaken!
It seems that Mona Scott-Young knows how to create situations that will no doubt end in fighting, drink throwing, and weave ripping. As if there wasn’t enough friction between the ladies and gents already cast, it’s rumored that she will be bringing in some new blood (and getting rid of a perceived dud) for the second season of the craziness. Wait, the show’s been green lighted for a second season? Oh, great!

Buckle up! Last night was yet another crazy episode of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. I am really going to miss these ladies when the season ends.
We start–where else?–with Joseline wearing the most ridiculous “outfit” for a photo shoot. She looks like a mermaid Beyonce in drag. There is a lot going on to say the least. Stevie J. arrives and he’s not feeling her ensemble. Perhaps he wants her to dress more patriotic like himself. He immediately goes off on her for texting his baby mama. She has a name! I mean, how hard is it to say, “Did you text Mimi?” Joseline calls Mimi Faust a b*tch, and Stevie doesn’t like her disrespecting his family. He storms out of the photo shoot. Joseline goes back to her posing.
Momma Dee and Shay meet for lunch. Shay knows she needs to tread lightly and get on Momma Dee’s good side so she can grow her relationship with Lil’ Scrappy. Momma Dee is very happy that her son is with Shay, and she warns Shay that she may have to check Erica Dixon at some point. She says they can either act like ladies or handle it with some gangsta sh**. I have a feeling Momma Dee hopes it’s the latter.
Joseline and Erica meet to discuss their fight. Joseline apologizes for accusing Erica of sleeping with Stevie J. Erica refuses to accept said apology and goes off on how she doesn’t like Joseline. For once–and I am shocked to type this–Joseline is the bigger person and walks away from the conversation when she realizes there is no changing Erica’s mind.
Mimi Faust is packing up Stevie J’s belongings. While she loves him, she just can’t stay with a man who is unfaithful. I’m pretty sure she isn’t just learning this, but whatevs. Ariane comes over to check on her friend, and she’s shocked that Mimi is actually biting the bullet. Mimi reveals that she’s still very sad, and she would love for their relationship to work. Basically, Mimi’s bottom line is Stevie is welcome back if he stops screwing with Joseline. Clearly she doesn’t really care if he’s faithful, she just doesn’t want him to be unfaithful with the likes of Joseline. Baby steps, I guess.
Oh gracious. Last night’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta was just as crazy as usual with the fighting, and the name-calling, and the fake, scripted situations.
K. Michelle heads over to Ariane’s apartment to have drinks with Ariane and Mimi Faust. Mimi reveals that she’s met with Joseline who confessed she was pregnant with Stevie J‘s baby. She is crying and angry, especially at the fact that when Stevie met up with the pair he had Joseline’s pregnancy test in his pocket. She wants to move forward with her life. Mimi is sick of Stevie saying one thing to her and then doing another. K. Michelle, and of course Ariane, think she’s finally gaining some sense when it comes to her deadbeat boyfriend.
Last night’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta was everything you hoped it would be…if you hoped it would scripted and ridiculous.
We rejoin Joseline and Stevie J hashing out baby-gate. He thinks there is no way the baby can be his…it would be bigger. Oh please. Joseline threatens to take him for half of what he has, to which Stevie grabs his crotch and tell her she can have half of it. Otherwise, she can go back to where he found her. Wow. I am surprised more women aren’t falling over themselves to have a chance with this winner.
K. Michelle is working with producer B. Cox to do a showcase to introduce her to local record labels. She admits to going slightly crazy at Jive, so B. Cox tells her she needs to be shaking hands and kissing babies…not screaming in the lobby of labels.
