Mob Wives Chicago Recap

Last night was the season finale of Mob Wives Chicago, and we finally had some questions answered and saw at least some of the women having fun together.  It’s about time, that’s for sure!

Pia Rizza heads to Renee Fecarotta Russo‘s apartment to discuss her very productive and positive meeting with Nora Schweihs .  Pia reveals that Nora ran away as soon as they began to talk, and she is no longer a thought in Pia’s mind.  Renee is all “duh.”  I know middle schoolers with better vocabulary.  Renee shares with Pia her screaming match with Giana’s father.  She is worried that when Giana finds out she yelled at her father, it will push her daughter even farther away from her.  Renee also talks about her weekend getaway with Dave.  While it was fun, she isn’t sure what it actually accomplished to help their relationship.  Pia advises her to focus on Giana and put Dave on the back burner.

Last night’s Mob Wives Chicago was a whole mess of drama, but thankfully no one got slapped.  That’s a plus, right?

The ladies are doing a breast cancer walk in honor of Leah Disimone‘s mom.  Renee Fecarotta Russo and Pia Rizza are first to meet Leah.  Nora Schweihs and Christina Scoleri are on their way, and Leah hopes that there won’t be any drama.  Nora is willing to put her differences aside to support Leah’s mom.  Renee isn’t sure she’ll be able to do the same, but she and Pia say that they’ll walk with the group.  Nora thinks it’s weird that Renee and Pia are walking arm in arm, and the two ladies separate from the group to get away from Nora’s voice.  It’s really sad that they can’t see that the walk should be about Leah’s mom and not their petty fights.

What can I say about last night’s Mob Wives Chicago?  There was a lot of bleeping, that’s for sure!  These ladies are constantly saying they want to have civil, non-confrontational discussions, but if a string of cuss words and screaming at the top of of their lungs is civil, I’d hate to see uncivil.  Oh wait, that was two weeks ago…Regardless, the entire episode was dramastically entertaining (see what I did there? )!

Renee Fecarotta Russo‘s daughter Giana comes over to discuss Giana’s recent trip to visit her father in prison.  Renee is concerned about what the pair could have discussed.  Giana tells her mother that her parents have too totally different stories about how they acted in the past.  Giana doesn’t know who to believe.  Her mother tells her that her father was a deadbeat who never made any attempt at a relationship with her, while her father tells her that Renee did everything in her power to keep the two apart, including threatening to call the cops on him.  Renee tells Giana that her dad is lying, but her facial expressions seem to tell another story.  Renee claims that she may have kept things from her daughter to protect her, but she never lies to him.  Giana doesn’t want to hear it, and when Renee accuses her ex of lying about having cancer, Giana can’t even handle the conversation. Renee plans to figure out why her ex is trying to sabotage her relationship with Giana.
